I'm updating this review since corporate Warner's Stellian reached out to us right after our Google…read morereview and had a replacement washer delivered a couple of days later. So nice to see they follow up. We were pleasantly surprised. Some of this however could have been avoided if their Bass Lake store manager would have listened the first time. We are not unreasonable people and just wanted help reaching out to Frigidaire. After all is said and done it's only fair to update our review to reflect their exemplary efforts to make it right. Thank you...

My first Warners' Stellian Appliance purchase ever. It was smooth enough…read more I already knew the exact make/model I wanted, so called in advance. There are several locations and an outlet store metro area. This was the only irritating and confusing part - Warners' Stellian inventory management and phone operator system would transfer each call between locations, and often it was unclear which location was being referred to. I suppose this only mattered because we were especially interested in open box / floor display units. It also felt like salespersons likely worked on commission and I received some mixed messages about which units were available at which locations, and about the extent of cosmetic damage on various floor models. Anyway, once we tracked the exact item to the Maple Grove location, the purchase/pickup were very smooth. In and out in 20 minutes, and they helped wrap and load the dishwasher from the back of the store into my car. We purchased an installation kit and hardwiring kit. We declined haulaway and delivery/installation. We also declined the in-store coverage subscription - although if you opt for the 5-year level, half of the cost gets applied to future purchases if you don't end up using the service or making a claim. They offered 90 days if we change our mind, to add this on. It was easy enough to install with the OEM kits. But our unit was missing a toe panel cover. Annoyingly, this specific mostly cosmetic piece costs about $70 online. EDIT: Even more annoyingly, it turns out we received some mismatched user manuals. Had I known my actual dishwasher unit/model would NOT have a 30-minute "Express Cycle" as advertised, instead only having 2hr+ programs, I would have gotten a different model.

We quickly searched up and then decided on getting a new one from a small business. After our in store visit and finding what we wanted, with a better warranty and price than the big company offered, we paid. We skipped the delivery and haul away as we are capable and I wanted to give the community a chance to part out the fridge (appliance parts are $$$$) for no cost. Also made it lighter for us taking to drop off for recycling. Fast forward 11 months, we decided our washer and dryer had been fixed enough times and it was time to upgrade. Again, we found better pricing and warranty at Appliance Depot. Our 3 appliances are doing great. The one service call we made, for the fridge, was soon after the request was made, repair person was timely, and we had a laugh at the user error that prompted the call to begin with. Fast forward again, and we need a microwave. Likely a dishwasher coming up too. We will be going back to Appliance Depot!

(I usually wait until I have a full day of work for him each time.) Clearly, it is past their return policy of 30 days. I ordered online, but called to make sure I was ordering the correct part for my model cooktop. They recommended and sent the wrong part. So, I called today to see if I could send it back and get the correct part.* I wasn't asking for a refund. After speaking with a woman for some time I asked to speak with the owner. Don reiterated that I was calling more than a year past their return policy and that there was nothing he could do because he didn't know who I spoke with. It doesn't matter who I spoke with, it is his company and it's his policy. Reading the recent reviews it seems the current ownership/management has a few very unhappy customers. I'm one of them. I baught a refurb washer and dryer 3 weeks ago signed a contract stating I'd not be able to refund my purchase which should have been my first red flag. Paid for delivery and waited for my unit to show up. Delivery went fine except for the delivery team taking an old drain hose I needed for my washer. I knew this was an honest mistake but when I called to get my hose back they said they'd call their manager and then call me back. They never called back... I called multiple times trying to get this hose back and finally resorted to "asking for a manager." To my surprise A1 appliance explained to me that they "don't really have a manager" this was the second red flag. I did get referred to the delivery manager (I guess they have managers now) Alfredo who drove in to the store to confirm that the hose was on the delivery truck. I requested this hose be returned to me since I paid for delivery service but he refused. He said I could "pick it up at the store." I'm expected to drive in using my gas after paying for a delivery service that made a mistake. No one offered to comp my gas or time and so I again requested to speak to a manager. Instead they have Lisa who's not a manager but her role is to "handle complaints" I imagine they get a lot. She never called me back but I did finally track her down after calling and explaining the situation at least 5 times. Meanwhile i set up my refurbished washer only to discover that it doesn't work plus it smells bad but that's besides the point. Lisa was apologetic claiming she would send someone out to drop off the hose which a kind man named Greg did that day. She also connected me to the service department that sent out a technician. She had spotty communication but things appeared to move forward. He worked on the washer machine and told me to reach out if there were any more problems. I tried the washer machine the next day and it still didn't work. I called back in and left a message with Lisa. She again never called me. I called her days later she answered said that they would exchange this unit for something else but they wouldn't do a return for me. I just want to be done at this point so I agree but explain that based on the lack of quality communication, service, and management I didn't want to risk purchasing another used machine from them. She said I could get an unused machine but I'd have to pay more. I asked that after 2 weeks of back and forth and multiple disappointment is there any way they'd be willing to exchange this unit for a new one which based on the "sale" was a $300 difference. The sales department explained the only person who could authorize a discount was Lisa. She said she'd take $50 off the price and I now need to pay $250 more and hope that there aren't any more issues. I know no one really believes "the customer is always right" but at this point you do what you can to make a customer happy even if you loose $250. I don't trust their ability to repair anything or follow through so i feel stuck. I just want the nightmare to be over. Ive been unable to do laundry for 3 weeks playing phone tag spending close to $1000 and the "discount" just isn't worth it. I waited to post this hoping for someone to actually try to make this right but now I need to tell the story. Don't waste your time! If you have a little issue YOU have to fix it. If you have a big issue... good luck. Most importantly... no refunds.
