PNW Audiology offer a premium experience in a sophisticated, professional, and warm environment. I don't feel like just-another anonymous face on the conveyor belt. It works essentially like a concierge model, where a single fee covers everything for a 3-year period: all exams, follow-up visits, hearing aid maintenance (ie. firmware updates) and re-calibrations, and the hearing aids themselves. UPDATE: The three year contract covers all subsequent services *after* the initial hearing tests. They administer 3 sets of tests: an audiometry threshold evaluation and speech recognition test, a tympanometry test, and a speech-in-noise test. These were partially covered by my benefits and I was responsible for the balance. My audiologist, Dr. Winkler, is thorough and patient-focussed. As an engineer and technologist myself, I was pleased by her ability and willingness to discuss more-technical and geeky aspects of my hearing abilities, outlook, tuning, as well as my HAs (I opted for the Oticon More 3s). She paid all cash when she purchased the hearing aids (no insurance company was involved in the purchase) and was told that she has a life-time warranty. She visited your Bend, Oregon office with her son, Richard Foushee and was assisted by a man named Chris. She asked Chris to adjust her hearing aids because they are no longer as effective because her hearing loss has gradually become more severe. Chris told her that the warranty "really isn't a lifetime warranty" and that her hearing aid model is "outdated". Chris tried to convince her to purchase a new model and refused to service her hearing aids. She left without having her hearing aids adjusted. She returned without her son another day and asked Chris once again to adjust her hearing aids. Instead of assisting her with her request, without her knowledge, he pulled my account and made a phone call to her son trying to get him to purchase a new model. No help again." Update: Her son, Richard, received a phone call again today instead of responding directly to me and told him that the "lifetime warranty" is only good for the lifetime of the product. That is deceptive advertising. I thought Yelp did not allow companies to delete poor reviews. I will be taking this up with the Better Business Bureau next.

A lifetime warranty is supposed to be for your lifetime. When my doctor submits a referral, I receive a call to schedule within a day. Recently needed to see a Neurosurgeon for a pinched nerve, which required surgery. I was called and had a scheduled visit in less than a week. Surgery was deemed necessary and it was scheduled in less than 2 weeks. The entire staff in the Neuro department was excellent. When the hospital screwed up resulting in my insurance denying the surgery, the Summit Neuro staff (Ruth) stepped right in and got everything resolved to the surgery could go on schedule. I cannot say enough about the care and caring team at Summit Health.

Then received a call from him saying he had called my GI doctor who explained the reason for the referral and now he can't help with a procedure. I was told his scheduler would call me. Waited 3 weeks and messaged them. Suddenly I was scheduled for a month out. Day of procedure just before my arrival time I was cancelled because he was running behind. No apology for wasting my day. This clinic has been a disappointment from the get go. I am going elsewhere.
