Very caring Dr. Seetharam and staff!…read more True experts with your eye care! 5 Star experience

I had surgery here for macular hole and a slight retina tear. The surgery went well and the staff…read morewas very caring and the surgery center staff was great. The only issue I had is that I was told multiple things that contradicted each other. For example, the surgery center told me that I would wear a shield over my eye for two weeks straight all day long. When I went to my follow up appointment, they told me no I really only needed to wear it at night time. The surgery center told me that I could request nausea medication from the doctors office. Should I feel nauseous. I did indeed feel nauseous and had dizziness and motion type sickness from this surgery. I spoke with the doctors office and they informed me that they do not write prescriptions for nausea medication, but that I would have to call my primary care physician for that. They aren't even aware I'm having the surgery! I also had my first appointment and we agreed I would have the surgery as soon as possible in the next available date. We were both available. Never heard from the scheduler, then finally called them after about 10 days and the surgery was scheduled for a few weeks out! Scheduler said Dr. had written not urgent. I did call the doctors office and it was rectified and moved back to the originally discussed date. There were multiple things like this and it got confusing and a little frustrating for me that the surgery center and doctors's offices are not on the same page. Again, I did like the staff and the doctors.

I wanted my upper eyelid crease to not touch my lashes, which I could do by just raising my eyebrows a bit. He was supposed to do upper blepharoplasty with a browpexy, and he just decided to not do the browpexy (or he forgot, I don't know, there was no discussion beforehand about him possibly not doing it, and after the only explanation was that he'd decided I didn't need it). Now I have droopy eyes and nasty scars, and I don't have the money to go to somebody else to get it fixed. Worst mistake of my life!!

I found myself coming here on the recommendation of my primary doctor who wanted me to get more…read morethan just a general eye exam from Lens Crafters. I wasn't sure what to expect here having seen their ads endlessly on tv and passing BDP buildings all over town, including up in Globe. Perhaps I expected them to be franchised and soulless, without any real people or knowledge beyond their slick marketing pieces. Sort of like politicians. It is occasionally nice to find that reality does not match your expectations, and BDP is one of those places. Everybody there was genuinely nice, and I had to do a lot of different tests with more than a few specialists. All of them took the time to explain what they were doing and the results. The docs assistants (who lets face it do most of the work, and are the unsung hero's) were all great as well and deserve a huge thumbs up as well.

Last month, I heard about a new light treatment available for macular degeneration. I wanted to get Dr Graff's opinion on it. I called the office several times to get his input on it. Even tho I was assured that someone would get back to me, they never did. So I then left 2 messages on my portal, and still no response. Lastly, I called to talk to the office manager. She wasn't in, but they said she would call me back. I never heard from her. That was the last straw. I cancelled my upcoming appt with Dr Graff and switched to a new retinologist. I will never go back to Barnet Dulaney again. I would like to receive a response from this office. But I won't hold my breath.

Not only…read morehas he always listened to our specific concerns, but he has taken to time to research solutions for our specific problems. I have been struggling with ocular migraines for over 20 years. In the past year, they have gotten so much worse. I think my neurologist is at a loss as to what else to do with me at times. Dr. Bailey had just heard about the Altius migraine contact lenses and asked if I was interested in trying them out. Of course I jumped at the opportunity, since it would be amazing not to have to rely on daily medication. I felt relief from an oncoming migraine the moment I put these contact lenses in. I have now been wearing them every time I have to go into the office or have a full day of computer usage ahead of me for about 3 weeks. I went from 3 to 5 migraines a week to MAYBE one. My husband will tell you I look odd and most people don't notice them. The ones that know me took a while to notice what changed. Getting used to seeing everything in green is a little strange, but experiencing life without a daily migraine or the threat of a migraine is huge. These contacts are taking care of the last trigger I didn't realize had so much of an impact. I cannot thank Dr. Bailey enough for giving me back my life. If you suffer from migraines or light sensitivity, I highly recommend trying these contact lenses out and make sure to reach out to Dr. Bailey.

They made my visit enjoyable--not something you usually hear when it comes to eye exams! I left feeling well taken care of and confident in my eye health. If you're looking for a place that combines exceptional care with a fun and inviting atmosphere that will work for an entire family, I 10/10 recommend Wagner Eye Associates. I lost much of my vision in one eye because Dr. Wagner does not dilate eyes to check for issues…read more For two years I described new vision problems I was having to Dr Wagner. He said it didn't sound like anything he was familiar with. I also told him that another optometrist saw swelling in the back of one eye after she dilated it. He said he didn't see swelling or anything else wrong. He never dilated my eyes to look. He said it wasn't necessary because he uses a machine to take a picture, without dilation. Three eye surgeries later, my vision is still greatly reduced. An Opthomologist immediately saw that I had a torn retina and performed emergency surgery to prevent blindness (after she dilated my eyes to look.). I am leaving this review in hopes of saving others from having severe vision loss.
