We have been bringing our dog to My Dogs Mind for over a year now and we can't say enough about this amazing staff and facility! From the day we approached Terrance and his team with Lucy and her serious behavior problems, they were honest and compassionate when we felt hopeless. Terrance assured us that he could help and with some work she could be the dog that we always hoped and knew she could be. We left her in his care for a whole month and everyday he and his brilliant staff worked with Lucy and treated her better than we could have hoped for. Now, a year later, she attends My Dogs Mind twice a week, interacts with every dog and loves her "school" days! Whether you're just looking for a clean, caring facility to bring your dog to for day care or you have some behavior issues that need to be addressed, THIS is THE place! You won't be disappointed!

When we got…read morea second pup and were worried about our first dog being territorial he drove far out of his way to come see us the day after we got her and help our dog adjust to his new little sister - and moreover, help US to feel more comfortable that we could handle anything that may come up. One of our dogs has many health challenges that make him very difficult to train and two trainers we used before Don gave up on him. They said there was nothing more that could be done. But not Don. He has been a game changer and we're so grateful! He has done a ton of research on (and has brought us to try) special tools we can use and has even bought special treats just for our little guy. He has endless patience with our pups, and moreover, with us. We have worked with Don on both of our dogs and will absolutely continue to work with and recommend him highly to anyone looking for a dog/people trainer who you can trust with your pups and count on to help you understand and better communicate with them. Don is the absolute best around!

I reached out to Nikki's K9 training in a moment of desperation and could not be more glad that I did! Nikki totally renewed my love for my dog and has set my dog up for success at home and in stressful environments. After the first session with Nikki, I had a whole new dog! My puppy was calmer, able walk politely on a leash, knew how to look for leadership, and follow training directions overall. I worked with 3 other trainers (private and group sessions) and a dog socialization program without any progress before I met Nikki. Nikki's program and approach is the only thing that has made a difference in my dog's behavior. On top of the training, Nikki has a wealth of knowledge in canine health and nutrition. She helped design a feeding plan for my puppy that was customized to his breed and size. Nikki has been able to answer every question I've had related to dog ownership with expertise and compassion. Most of all, I appreciate how Nikki really understands my dogs needs. She does not try to train away what makes my puppy special. Instead, she customizes her approach to align the the dog's overall motivation which makes for a much happier puppy! 1,000,000/10

We were blessed enough to work with Nikki, and I am happy to say our dog Saffie is a very different dog. We were able to build her confidence up working with Nikki and her amazing doggie partner Koda. We now have her crate trained and off leash trained! She still doesn't like other dogs or new people, but she's much less reactive now than she was before training with Nikki. If you have a dog that needs a lot of help, or a dog that just needs some fine tuning, then Nikki is your answer. Thanks Nikki, and thanks Koda!

He is…read moreonly four months old and, when we booked his stay, we specifically communicated that he needed to be fed breakfast, lunch, and dinner. According to his Paw Report, he was only fed five times during his entire four-night stay. He should have been fed approximately 15 times. The amount of food that was returned to us made it very clear that he had not been fed anywhere near what we had provided or instructed. As a four-month-old puppy, this was extremely upsetting to see. Unfortunately, that was not the only concerning issue. My parents' two intact male dogs stayed at the facility during the same period. One came home with extremely inflamed and infected testicles. I understand that this is a sensitive detail, but it is important to mention because this is actually the second time this has happened to one of their dogs after staying at this facility. The first occurrence was earlier this year, and we initially assumed it was an isolated incident. After it happened again, we became much more concerned. We do not know the cause, and I don't want to speculate, but we have questions about the cleaning products or whether floors and surfaces are being allowed to fully dry before dogs are put back into the area. Both my parents and I attempted to contact the facility to speak with a manager and simply understand what happened. I spoke with a gentleman, I believe his name was Tyler, for quite some time and made it very clear that I was not looking to cause an issue. I simply wanted answers and an explanation. I was told that a manager would contact me the following day. No one ever did. My parents also attempted to follow up and were unable to get answers. Our veterinarian actually recommended that we share our experience because of the infection. What makes this particularly frustrating is that the concerns started from the beginning, with the number of add-ons and packages presented when booking and deciding what level of care your dog receives. It felt like the focus was on upselling services rather than making sure the basic needs of the dogs were being met. I would never feel comfortable boarding my dog here again. Four nights should not result in a four-month-old puppy coming home covered in urine and feces and apparently receiving only a fraction of the food he was supposed to receive. Combined with the lack of communication and the medical issue involving my parents' dogs, this experience has completely destroyed our trust in the facility.
