The phlebotomist who drew my blood yesterday was amazing!! She was so kind, professional, and…read moreskilled that I barely felt the needle. She made the experience much easier and I want to give her the biggest shoutout.. I wish I got her name..... but she was the only one working on 6/22! Based on previous visits, I expected to be in and out quickly and parked in a 30-minute spot. However, I waited over 30+ minutes to be seen, which was stressful since I didn't want to leave to add time to the meter and risk missing my turn. I was also fasting for a lab draw so I was a little hangry. And, it took about a month to get this appointment, which is much longer than I've experienced in the past. What is going on? I'm luckily healthy, but it makes me worry for those who need lab routine draws. The phlebotomist was the only staff member working, which likely contributed to the delay. She provided excellent care, but the clinic could clearly benefit from additional staffing and improved scheduling.

NO. just a wasted trip. Reading the other poor reviews, renovation seem to be their thing. Sign recommended next closest location: Post St, NOT the closest, then below that 15th st. Went there as a walk-in. No one to greet you except an iPad. Employee hiding in her vestibule unseen, waiting to engage with the computer. If I didn't walk back, who knows how long I'd be ignored. Such a poor experience all around.

Normally I have an ok experience here. Just make sure you have an appointment, arrive to your…read moreappointment on time and check in at the kiosk and wait. However, today I got into an argument with one of the lab technicians over the bathroom. So, I had to do a urine test today and was given a cup to pee. I went to the restroom and knocked on the door. No sound or response. So I tried to open the door and it was locked. Then I waited for 5 minutes. I wasn't sure if someone was using the restroom since no one responded to me when I knocked. And I was not sure if the bathroom just happened to be locked and there was no one inside. I was going to go to the front desk and ask them to open the restroom for me, but I decided to check if someone was in there one more time. So I knocked on the door again and this time an angry woman yelled out loud "YOU BETTER STOP THAT." Usually, I'm very polite to strangers but I am someone who does not like getting yelled at and will yell back at you in response. So I yelled "WELL YOU SHOULD HAVE SAID SOMETHING WHEN I KNOCKED THE FIRST TIME" So, I sat down and waited. And after 2 minutes, a lab technician came out of the bathroom and started yelling at me. And I yelled at her back. Look I am sure this was all a misunderstanding. She probably thought I was rushing her to get finish her business on the toilet. But all I wanted to do was make sure there was no one in the toilet and all she had to do was say "Someone is in here" when I knocked the first time. Anyways giving this place, a 3 star just because of this one rude and stupid interaction. Otherwise, this place would have gotten 4 stars. And look, it was just one cranky lab technician that doesn't represent all the workers at this location, and she could have been having a bad day. However, I don't think a patient should get yelled at for checking if the toilet was occupied and she could have avoided this if she simply said something when I knocked the first time.

Convenient location (on the #1 Muni Bus line). I walked in and saw a huge number of people who were seated and waiting. I checked in on the upright kiosk. Done. Then I took the initiative to speak to the woman sitting the check in desk. She was a blood draw pro herself (I know there is a special term for this). She said they take walk ins. I said I had an appointment. I got to go ahead of all those walk-ins! Huge+! I had brought in my doctor's order/paperwork (although my doctor said the order would be transmitted to Labcorp; I've learned that it's expeditious to have it on hand). Paid a co-pay. Got invited into a room. The technician took the samples. Minimal discomfort. She was a PRO! Done and out the door in less than 10 minutes! Best to have an appointment if you think you're time is valuable. Imo: LabCorp technicians will help you get in & out; you just have to set everything up right.

WOW I also saw people who were waitlist after me got because you can see the board got called before me. The people are nice. They're just very into their computer and the doctor's orders. Prioritize the appointments is my recommendation. Because what's the point of making one!!!!!!!!

They outsource FH testing to a company called "Genome Medical". My Monday consult with the genetic counselor was fine. She disclosed she was driving and I asked if she wanted to reschedule but she said she was fine. She seemed knowledgeable and I told her I was leaving the country Friday, but she assured me all as well. After the call, she told me she'd have the test kit sent via overnight shipping. Come Wednesday, nothing. I tried to call Genome Medical (the subcontractor, as far as I can tell) and I was redirected into a voicemail after a lengthy hold. I called Invitae and was told there was no order and to call Genome. Buck passing at its best. Can't wait for my bill. Genome finally called me back and I asked them to cancel the shipping of the test kit as I was not getting service or anything I was promised and that my GC was clearly too busy driving to remember the overnight commitment. They said they'd cancel. Next thing I know, there's an order. Which I missed because I wasn't in the country, like I said. No one can tell me if temps are a factor in accuracy. This is a joke. And if you're going to outsource your service, it's your job to handle your vendor. You don't get to tell me to sit on hold forever only to get routed to a voicemail. Unacceptable. And I have no recourse because Invitae just tells you goodbye.
