Dakota, Byron,…read moreand Tyler -- the incredible "three amigos" -- went above and beyond to help me during a very stressful situation. After a severe power surge at Desert Mountain, both of my Carrier heat pumps were completely blown out. With outside temperatures reaching 104 degrees, I was in a difficult position. The Cool Zone team immediately took action. Within just three days of ordering all necessary parts, they had everything installed and fully operational. Their work was nothing short of meticulous. Every part fit together perfectly, like a carefully assembled puzzle. Their professionalism, strong work ethic, and calm, organized approach turned a potentially terrible experience into a seamless, stress-free transition. I deeply admire and appreciate the service they provided. Thank you, Cool Zone Air -- well done to the entire team! David Smith

I am surprised at the amount of great reviews for this company. My experience was the complete…read moreopposite. I called Cool Zone because they were authorized to perform warranty repairs on my ac system. The tech found that the compressor had failed and needed to be replaced. He confirmed the unit was still under a parts warranty so my cost would be the labor and new freon that was recommended. He quoted $3,300 for 4 hours of labor! Then said if i purchased a maintenance plan that covered 2 visits for both of my units it would be cheaper at just under $3,100. What? That doesn't make sense. You Buy a service plan and pay less ?!! I expect that the "maintenance" is not intended to take care of the units but to give them 2 more opportunities to overcharge for additional services. I was told they would check availability of the compressor and his office would call me the next day. I was charged a $89 diagnostic fee. I told him his office told me the fee would be waived for repairs over $300. It was obvious to me that he had no intention of sharing this policy with me and said he would discount the repair bill after the work was done. I heard nothing more from them. It has been 2 days. After looking into his price I was told by 2 different companies that the quote was at the high end of the range for a unit that was NOT under warranty. I did not share this quote with either of these companies until after they priced the repair. Both told me the same thing and both quotes were competitive. A different factory authorized business is repairing the unit including line set cleaning and new refrigerant for $1,800. This is a predatory business overcharging people that are stuck in the AZ heat with a broken ac unit. They say a sucker is born every minute. Dont be a sucker! Stay away.

I will continue to refer friends and family because I know Brian and his team will do the best thing for them as they would their own family. ***Our Experience*** Lilly the Office Manager was insightful, caring, and courteous when we initially called to schedule our maintenance last fall and our no cool in June. Alex explained the options to fix our 28-year old unit, including replacing it. The owner Brian called shortly after to help us choose the new unit that made sense for us. He was objective, through, and patient while explaining operations, pros, and cons of each unit. The focus was getting our family taken care of, not a sale. As expected, our installation was flawless with Justin and Alex being kind, professional, on time, and patient with questions. Since installation, Brian has reached out to me to ensure everything was working properly. He's helped me understand and improve some airflow issues without trying to book a service call.

They demanded I paid in full, even though they needed multiple trips to the house to complete work. I protested, but they insisted. And of course, the work wasn't completed. The AC never blew lower than 76 degrees. And now 18 months after they "fixed" the problem, the same two units are not working again. What a cowinkiedink! And conveniently 6 months out of warranty on their work! I would've gotten more satisfaction if I burned the $6 grand

I really had called for a quote on a new unit since the other guy doesn't install them. Trey offered to stop by the same evening and gave assurance that he'd get it working it if he could, and the cost of any fixes would go towards a new unit if that was the route we needed to take. Trey made it out the same evening and worked in the dark to get our unit up and running. Turns out we don't need a new unit right now! Really appreciate his effort and diligence with diagnosing the issue to get it repaired and at a reasonable price. I appreciate that he's honest and didn't recommend a new unit when it's not necessary.

I also liked that they're locally owned and based in Surprise, AZ. I wanted to give my business to a local company, and they made that decision an easy one. The crew showed up on time, did what they said they would do, and worked really well together. You could tell they knew what they were doing. They also cleaned up at the end of each day, which I really appreciated since the work was being done at my home. The new Trane units were no more than a week old from the manufacturer's date, brand new built units!!! Overall, I'm very happy with the service and the quality of the work. It's nice to find a local company that does what they say they're going to do and takes pride in their work. I'd definitely use Cactus Climate Pro again.
