I hired them to install bat exclusion tubes, seal the penetrations where bats can get in to the attic and then remove the bat guano. Signed the contract and paid the full amount. They installed the tubes and sealed all entry points. So far so good. I then sold my house and the new buyer had someone else do some mold remediation in the attic and at the same time that company cleaned up the bat guano. I called my bat guys and asked for a refund for that portion of the job they didn't do and didn't need to do anymore. I was told no refunds, the contract only allows for cancellations within 3 days. So they are keeping the money for a service they didn't perform. I understand we signed a contract, but the circumstances changed, and they didn't perform that portion of the contract. Just pure greed and certainly not a way to keep a customer happy. Will never use or recommend them to anyone. read more

Avoid this cancer like the plague. Called for raccoon removal from my attic. The son (of the owner) comes in and pops his head in the attic for 2 seconds because of the raccoons and instantly says, "you have bats". Being so uninitiated to this whole process, I agree to their $3,000 price to remove the raccoons, which they did,. But the son promises all these "bat" entry points to be shut down around the house. They did 2 peak one-way exits at the peaks of the roof but didn't seal the other 20 points around the house as they quoted. After complaining, the owner said he would come by house to kick my ass. no lie. Horrible scam of a company. They are terrible and inexcusable. read more

In late September, I was told I had bats by my regular exterminator who wanted approximately $1,200 to do a bat exclusion. I made appointments to get two more quotes for the work. One was with a local guy who only wanted $600 to do the work but said that it shouldn't be done until the spring when the bats would be awake from hibernation. When the My Bat Guy representative came out, I asked if the job should wait until the spring. He said that, no, it could still be done, depending on the kind of colony I had. He explained all of the different ways he would seal the house, places on the roof that would need to be sealed, and how after the doors were installed, they would check to make sure the bats were gone and then pull the doors. The guy seemed knowledgeable and also sold me a rodent protection package. I agreed to pay ~1,700 for all of this work. On the day the work was completed, a different technician came out and spend approximately 30 minutes at my property. 30 minutes of work did not seem like the thorough job that had been sold to me. Weeks later, I heard bats in my daughter's wall--which was not a place I'd heard them before. They sent out a technician who examined the chimney near my daughter's wall. He reported to me that there was a place that had not been sealed, and he apologized that they missed it. He said he had resealed it, but since it was winter now, it was likely the bats would be hibernating for the winter and wouldn't leave until spring. That was disappointing since I explicitly asked if this project should wait until the spring. A few weeks later, I found mouse droppings under my sink. I decided enough was enough and called the office. The office manager told me that "You don't understand the process" and that they'd done everything I'd paid them to do. This company does a good job selling services then performs them as haphazardly as possible. read more

They installed a lot of Ridge Guard I did not need and a few bat doors. The bat doors were not installed where the bats were getting in. The bats came back the next spring. I called them, they said they sent someone out. Then they wanted $450 plus per year on top of almost $3000 for original work. Had a complete new roof installed this year and metal flashing under dormer valleys where the bats USED to get in. First year in many without bats flying around in my house. read more

Buyer beware of this company! The company seemed decent, and we had them come out on July 16, and they put the equipment in place three days later. Then nothing. At all. I finally called them on October 05 (almost 77 days with no contact) to find out why I had to wait two and a half months for them to be in contact. They scheduled me for October 29, and once again, no show/no call. I finally had to call them today on November 11. They had left a message with me yesterday saying they would be out today. I called, and they said it would be November 17. AT this point I'm ready to rip their equipment down and count the fee as a lesson learned with this company. I am also currently in talks with the Better Business Bureau about irresponsible and inconvenient scheduling practices. For the amount of money we paid for this "service", customer support is garbage. The people at the office aren't friendly either when you call them out on their promises. read more

Posted a Google review to warn others and the owner personally called us and harassed us on the review we left trying to say we were leaving an unfair untrue review which was not the case at all, we explained exactly what happened in our review. Do not hire the bat guy! The owner Ron runs an unethical company and will take your money without performing the services promised! We were selling our home in the fall and had an inspector notice fecal matter in the attic so we called the bat guy to rectify the situation. He wrote up a quote for over $4,000 to exclude bats and remove feces. He did not even attempt to remove feces and failed a second inspection! He would not come back out to remove it and wouldn't give a $2,000 refund for the cleanup failure! I took him to court and got over a thousand back. He even tried to show the judge bogus photos of a clean attic that wasn't ours! Steer clear of this scam artist! He also tried to charge an extra $9,000 to remove insulation and replace it! I ultimately had the Attic Pros remove the bat feces and blow in new insulation for under $1,000! Go with these guys instead and get the job done without breaking the bank! read more

not use this company! Long explanation to follow: I had to use this company since the seller of the house that I bought contracted them prior to our closing. Part 1: in the house inspection, bats and bat guano were found in the attic. The seller (as listed in our inspection addendum) was required to remove the bats AND Bat guano prior to close. The seller got it taken care of with my bat guy (the worst mistake ever) probably because they were the cheapest. At closing - the sellers agent tells me that in the spring - my bat guy will remove the guano ( supposedly they could not remove it since it was too warm- we closed in November ) and that they would take out the 1 way bat doors but I have to call them. She gives me the receipt and says "do not pay anything, it's all taken care of" Closing happens - yay! (Or not) Part 2: April rolls around and my bat guy shows up while I'm at work and I see them on my ring camera. They put a ladder on my house and are there for 5 ish minutes and leave. Hmm? No call- no warning - nothing. So I call after work and say "hi, I see a guy came out but you didn't remove the bat guano or take out the 1 way door" (he didn't come in my house he literally just popped a ladder on my roof. The lady proceeds to tell me that the seller never paid for guano removal and that i could pay $500+ for removal. Obviously I'm confused and pissed off. I have a legal contract stating that my seller was supposed to clean the guano and remove the bats. I get on the phone with my agent - my agent calls the sellers agent and wow my bat guy was supposed to remove the guano but did not. Instead blames it on the seller and says "they declined the service". Well of course I'm mad - my agent is mad - and the sellers agent is going back and forth with my bat guy since she told them from the beginning the guano had to be removed and they told her they would remove it in the spring. So- I have to get 3 other quotes for guano removal from other bat companies because the seller wants to pay for removal. ALL 3 COMPANIES come out and say the same thing "the company that did your work - didn't do anything. Your gable vents are open and bats can still come in". So beyond my bat guy lying about removing guano to my seller (that is the least of my worries) now bats can still come in and the seller paid $1,000+ for practically nothing. So I'm furious - I call my bat guy and tell them to come out. They send a nice guy and he explains to me that "all of those companies are lying" and that everything is sealed. They go up on my chimney to "seal a few spots they see" and leave. So at this point I still have guano in my attic that my bat guy won't remove but it is what it is. I don't know who to believe my bat guy or my seller/sellers agent but I move on. Part 3: now in august. Orkin comes out to my house to remove some hornets. They come back 1 week later for inspection and say that they do a free "pest inspection" for mice, bats, etc. well okay why not? So the house is great but they go up to the attic and what do they say? Your gable vents are open - bats can come inside. Evidence: fresh bat guano right by the vents. Wow- now I'm furious. I gave my bat guy the benefit of the doubt and turned the other cheek - but now I'm over it. So I make my fiancé call and schedule an inspection. They come a week later - today exactly and the owner Ron tells me "your vents are closed - those other companies just wanna get me in trouble". He doesn't go in my attic - not to the back of my house - Nope just stands in the front of my house and stares and points at one vent. He told me he came out because he knows "the history at my house" yeah the bad history because you lied to my seller? I told him that 3 companies told me in April that he didn't do work - then now Orkin and that his story isn't adding up. How come now 4 companies tell me the same thing but you have a different story? His answer: "those companies wanna get me in trouble". At the end of the day - they are shady - they are liars & they do not stand behind their work read more

I cannot tell you to run fast enough. One, they are grossly overpriced. We didn't know what we didn't know, however, upon further research you should be able to get at 1/2 the cost. Second, they do not know what they are doing. Unfortunately, we had a builder error and there was a visible access point seen clearly from the attic (we had never been up there - it was a new house). Had they done their job and alerted us, we could have had the builder fix. The builder was quick to fix, so we could have avoided many headaches. They quoted to seal off any potential re-entry points (obviously that huge hole in the attic was a big miss.) Oh, and they left these wonderful hideous "bat doors" on our house and never removed. I had bats in my attic and called them. The inspection was hurried and rushed and they didn't even crawl into small spaces in the attic to check for bats. Refused to go into the basement as well. They installed bat doors and told me they would be back in a month to fill the holes. It took almost three months to get them back out to my house during which a continuous stream of bats got into my house and I had to get the rabies vaccine myself for fear of being bit by a bat. Then when someone was out to fill in the holes it was done haphazardly and they didn't even go on my roof which I was told they would. I paid 1800 dollars for two men to come out to my house, tell me I had bats, and then piss around and do nothing. A year later I hear more squeaking and call Terminex instead and find out I not only have bats STILL but also mice, rats, and squirrels. DO NOT USE MY BAT GUY read more

I had an attic restoration done to remove years of bat infestation as well as an exclusion. During the restoration, my home was not treated with care. I had insulation all over the downstairs of my home, as well as dirt and other debris from the restoration. Parts of my carpet were stained with a blackish dirt, where they did not take the extra time to cover the carpet. I have small children. I was expected to clean these areas after they left. In addition, they scuffed my 100 year old staircase and used penny nails to put up 100 year old trim. After the restoration, I had to inform the company I found additional bat activity in my home. A tech came out once and accused me of having done work to my home, which I hadn't. I made a second call stating that I could hear bats in my walls again. The owner would not return my call, which was surprising since he was the main point of contact throughout all of the work. In fact, they try to avoid you, especially when they know they have to come out a fix their work. They carry a 5 year guarantee, unless of course you have more work or service issues. I called another company. They opened my attic and found bat droppings, proof that there were indeed "new bats" in my newly restored attic. They pointed out that there were several areas of my home that were not even sealed. I do not recommend this company, unless you would like your home trashed and improperly sealed. You will have to get another company anyways. Hire them and throw your money down the drain. read more

After being told I had a Bat problem I had my bat guy came out to quote sealing off my home and installing 1 way bat doors. They advertise they will seal off any possible entry points for bats and rodents with a 1 year warranty. They charged me over 2000 dollars and said it was an increased cost because log homes are harder to seal off. Well when they came out they only sealed off locations a normal house would have. when spring time rolled around I noticed bats coming out of locations they did not touch. I called them back to finish the job they started now knowing the other entry points. They are now refusing to stand by their warranty and said their technician states these are not likely entry points (which I provided them a video with bats scratching inside after watching them fly in there. They gave me a quote for another 1500 dollars only 3 months later to finish the original scope of the job they quoted and said they warranty. They told me I would have to take this up with the owner of the company but would not give me his contact information and said He will have to call me. Well after 4 weeks of being unresponsive and not returning my calls (with voicemail) I am going to report this company to the better business bureau. This company is a scam and is not true to what they advertise or sell you on. They do a half ass job and Nickle and dime you for anything they feel like. I had 3 different companies come do an inspection. After paying for quote after quote I was relieved when Bat Removal and Prevention came to inspect my home. They were the most professional and reasonably priced. They sealed my roof and installed bat doors. Then about a month later they came and cleaned my attic. I have had zero bats come back. I paid $700 to have bats removed from my attic. They initially installed a one way door where I stated the bats were entering. I had them back the next year and they installed another door in another location that I identified bats were still entering. Now in the fourth year, while inspecting my attic I see concentrated bat droppings in the same area I had cleaned up six months prior. Their explanation is that the bats are now entering through a new, right next to the old hole, that wasn't there when they started the job . WHAT A BUNCH OF CRAP!. They will not honor their 5 year guarantee stated on the contract claiming this isn't part of their initial work. No construction had been done on our home and I disagree that new holes have just appeared, I'll go with holes they didn't catch in the first two tries. Right after the check was cashed their response time and my impression of them had become poor. They clearly don't care about customer service or full filling their end of a contract. I'm not sure how the last review, with no affiliation, could promise you won't be disappointed. But if that's the case. I don't recommend their service and I PROMISE YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED!!! read more
