I still can't forget the horrible experience I had with this unscrupulous moving company back in 2018. The guys stole my LV belt and a pair of sunglasses and god knows whatelse. When I confronted them ,they denied it, one of the guys walked up to me in my face and was ready to fight. I called the cops and then somehow my belt reappeared in a place I already had looked for it and where I didn't put it to begin with. They also damaged the entrance of the new apartment door while they were bringing in the furnitures which causes bugs and all kinds of insects to have easy access. mind you, this was a brand new apartment where I'm the 1st one to move in. Dreadful experience. Somehow, the company boss and the foreman failed to communicate the scope of the move to the crew. When the crew realized it was a slightly larger job, they became very rude and unprofessional. Upon booking the job, we were informed that the crew would do and go whatever we needed during their three hours. Instead, they threw a fit and we ended up leaving about 30 boxes that we now must retrieve ourselves. Oh, and when they moved our TVs they put the cables god knows where so I can't even hook up yet. The kicker - we finished the job within the 3 hours anyway! Never again with these joker's. Follow up: These have to be the laziest movers in the business. They left so much stuff behind that I will have to rent a UHaul. But every time we pointed to something for them to move they acted exasperated and rolled their eyes. I had to go searching for the TV cords they tossed aside. My bed is supposed to be on risers and they simply left them behind. To put this in context, I am retired military with 13 moves (four moves overseas). This company only need to move my household goods 15 minutes away to my new house and they broke more items than all 13 moves combined. I lost lamps, irreplaceable family items, hunks of wood missing from furniture, and a huge snag in our couch. We supplied them with food and drinks, and they repaid our kindness with wrapping a banana peel and trash from the food we bought them in separate boxes. I'm still waiting to see what other trash they left for me to find. Working speed: The estimate to pack the house was almost spot on. Vy didn't plan properly for the amount of trucks or personnel to pack my house. The guys were vVery sluggish when the boss wasn't there. If you go with this company (even after this review), I would request Vy be there from the start. Don't wait for him to call you to ask, "How fast do you think the guys are working?" Because of the boss not being there the first two days, the guys and Vy worked until 11:30pm the third night just to get items in the truck. By that time, they were tired and wanted to leave after working 13 hours. So, my items were treated will little regard for safety or caring. read more

I used these people today. The staff was polite. I didn't have any living room or dining room furniture to make the hour move easier and they still screwed up. They came with no tools to disassemble my beds. They moved slow as snails. I will never use them again. They sent two people for a 3 man job and tried to accuse me of requesting 2 people. My nephews and my aunt had to help them move the items and hold the footboard and headboard together to assemble. The manager Vee called me to discuss what the issue was and was the rudest business person alive. He asked me if i wanted the guys to run up and down the steps and then proceeded to tell me it was my fault for using the online request portal. Amazing. read more

They also backed their truck into landscaping cinders and didn't offer to repair it. No one answers their phone when we call to get repairs done to our furniture and have our things returned. Three guys showed up to move us out to an apartment while we had a French drain out in our basement. They worked fast and got us put and moved in after only 8 hours. 4 months later they moved us back. They are fast, careful, and have a great low price. read more

The movers were wonderful and they worked tirelessly to the end. Scheduling was very easy and the owner was very responsive to my questions and messages. However, I felt that there was a lot of wasted time unloading the truck; yes the movers would have to walk 2 hallways to get to my unit from the loading dock but I still thought that was the most cost effective way to go. The supervising mover thought it was best to go through the lobby and use one elevator to load up and walk one hallway to my unit; that would be great if there wasn't a 20 to 30 minute wait in between the next load to be dropped off to my unit. Because of this delay between each load, I estimate that 2 hrs or more was added to my total hours that was unnecessary. In addition, one of my lamps broke during the move and the owner explained to me that it isn't covered because his guys shouldn't have taken it on the truck. In addition, I didn't have the "right" moving plan to cover this item anyway and his words (just be glad it wasn't anything major). read more

We had the misfortune of using this mover to move my mother-in-law into our home. They were highly unprofessional. They did nothing to protect our home. They did not put down blankets or take any other precautions. They damaged our carpets, walls and the furniture they moved. They also up-sold above their quoted rate. They stole my Louie Vuitton belt and and rayban glasses and when I threaten to call to cops my belt mysteriously reappeared then after they leave my ray bans went missing. They also did not assemble my bed because the misplace the screws and the damaged my wall. When I contacted the manager he told me one of the guys is from a temp agency and he don't know him that well. We had My Angel Movers do a last minute, overnight, interstate shipment of a large, oversize, delicate to-scale facility model (900 lbs, 6 ft x 13 ft). The mover was well prepared and came a day in advance to prepare the transportation logistics, and was very flexible in extending himself beyond the original scope of the contract on late notice. Very unhappy with the move and will never use them again. Specific issues with the move in June 2019 include: - put a hole in our wall (still unrepaired despite numerous requests), - truck took off a phone wire from the house (we repaired, they just drove away), - paid for 3 movers and while there were 3 bodies, we only received 2.25 movers since one guy stood around most of the time, and - the estimate came in 60% higher (we think because one guy just stood around). Ended up paying $1,200 moving out and when we moved into an apartment in August, only paid $480 for virtually the same level of work. The other areas where we question their professionalism: - asked for beverages (when offered water, they asked for soda) and given their profession this should be something they provide so they could keep hydrated, - had to borrow one of our phone chargers so their GPS would work. Again, they should have had this. I have experienced 13 different moving companies in my life. I have never had such poor service. I'm moving from DC to PA, and have been researching quotes for a few weeks now. No spammy follow-ups and emails. I hired My Angel Movers to move large items of furniture and about 6 large boxes from my studio apt into my parents home about 5 miles away. Vy was friendly when I hired him and provided an accurate estimate. I was told the movers would pick up the furniture from 1-2:30PM during a weekday. I told the company in advance that they would need to contact my gf to let them into the apartment as I had a busy day at work when the move was scheduled. Unfortunately, I was repeatedly interrupted at work. The movers called to say they were delayed from their first job and would show up between 3:30-4PM. The movers then showed up at the delivery address rather then the pickup address. Then, rather then taking directions from my parents, the movers got lost and could not locate my high-rise apartment. With some guidance from my gf, the movers arrived at my address after 5:30PM. The movers that showed up were very friendly and hardworking but did not have more than a month experience between the both of them. I notified Vy that I was upset and he immediately showed up to help out and supervise. They completed the move in under 3 hours but left parts of the bed in my apt. When Vy called me to notify me about this I was already out at dinner about 30 minutes away from the apt. I demanded a $100 refund for the inconvenience. Vy offered to refund $85 which I accepted. I agreed to pick up the missing parts if Vy would return to the home two days later to finish reassembling the bed between 5-6PM. Vy showed up an hour and half late on that date and finished reassembling the bed. Overall, I think there is potential for this company however they need better organization and should not overbook themselves. Even though it was a small job, a supervisor should have been present from the very beginning. Their rates are competitive and all of my belongings were in good condition after the move. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! I got a quote for a 4 hour job- to move only 2 beds/2 dressers/ living room table/6 chairs/1 sofa/1 loveseat/1 chaise/1 coffee table/2 end tables/bbq grill! It took them 8 hours! They arrived with no tools to dissemble the beds! So that took about 4 hours to disassemble and reassemble. One of the guys was high on something! It was horrible! He smelled really bad too! My furniture has lots of dings in it! They were not equipped with enough blankets to wrap my furniture! The truck did not say angel movers on it! Vy was great to contact with- provided me with a fast quote, accommodated a date change, and answered any questions I had. The two movers that helped me were very nice. But I felt like they were slow, and I was paying by the hour so it was frustrating for me. It seemed as though one was working much faster than the other. I have a 1,025 square foot townhome- two bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, living room, kitchen, and a small patio. Everything was packed they just had to move all my stuff and furniture. I even had already moved all of my kitchen stuff myself before they came. They arrived at 10:50 a.m. and didn't load everything up until 1:30 p.m. Then it's a twenty minute drive to my new house, and I helped unload (the small things) and it took until 4:00 p.m. 10:50am - 4:00pm seems extremely long for a two bedroom townhome move. Even considering the long move, the price was still extremely reasonable though at $400. Nothing was damaged in the move because they ensured that anything fragile was well wrapped in moving blankets. They also disassembled both beds and reassembled them after the move which was great. This is the worst moving company ever. Broke up and damaged my dining curio and bed room furniture. They used nothing to protect my furniture from the rain.They were arrogant and nasty to me. I tried to reason with them but they were rude and hung the phone up on me. They moved me in May 2019 and its Jan 2020 and there has been no response from my claim. They damaged my television. Fortunately I had insurance. They did $3450.00 in damages (estimate shown).It was unbelievable. Their excuse was they fired two of the movers. They need to close the business down. I am approaching the anniversary of my move and I had some time to reflect on the whole experience, which I will say was not pleasant. I was so upset with My Angel Movers at the time, but because trying to settle into our new home and dealing with other issues, we decided just to move forward and forget the whole episode. I also didn't want to write this review last year because I wanted time to reflect and not write the review with emotion. Unfortunately, the negative emotions never faded. When we started the process of looking for a mover, admittingly, we needed to find a company that would fit into our budget and hoped to find quality at the same time. We called several and got many quotes from companies that offered flat rates and companies that estimated the hours. The majority of the companies gave me a quote over the phone, but My Angle Movers actually sent someone over to look at what we needed to move. To me that made sense, how could you give an accurate estimate without seeing what you are dealing with. Their rep, who I believe his name was Michael was a really great guy, answered all my questions and built up my confidence that this is the company I should go with. We weren't considering full service at the time, but he said that it was something they offered. Selling me that I didn't have to do a thing and My Angel Movers would take care of everything. Even on their website, they have somewhere suggested you just grab a lawn chair and relax with they do their thing. Not exact words, but the gist of it. Of course, having the full service, the price understandably is higher, but looking at all the things we were coordinating at the time, we decided to "treat" ourselves and go for full service. They estimated the hours and costs it came in higher than the other estimates we got, including other companies that offered full service and flat rates. But because of Michael, I felt like the cost of going with My Angel Movers would be worth it. So moving day came. The plan was to start at 8:00. But so some reason they needed to go buy some packing supplies and they came a few hours late. I wasn't angry but slightly disappointed. I met the crew and they were friendly. I walked the foreman through the house and telling them what needed to be packed and moved. For some reason, they seemed surprised that they needed to pack, almost like they weren't told that this was part of the job. One of the things I asked Michael before I signed the contract is if it was even possible to pack and move everything the same day. Other companies that sent me quotes said a packing crew would come beforehand, but Michael said they would send enough people over to get the job done. I naively decided to take him at his word. So the crew started packing. I was looking at the clock and it was already afternoon. I asked if I can grab a couple boxes so I could help them pack. Just to speed things up. They said, no worries, we'll get it done. Again, I naively believed them. The clock is ticking, it's starting to get dark and they are still packing. When they finally starting moving, they were tired. They very grumpy and the foreman was acting like I was being a nuisance. He was probably right because I was worried the move was not going to be done that day and we'd go way over the estimated hours. I don't blame them for being grumpy, it understandable, because after so many hours and moving heavy boxes and furniture, who wouldn't. But at the same time, he represented the company and his company way underestimated the time needed for this job. Wasn't the foreman's fault, it was Michael's and My Angel Mover's Management. So it was getting very late. almost Midnight. The move was definitely not going to be finished. There were things that still needed to be packed! The owner came by and made me feel like it was my fault that this move was taking so long and explained that they based on what was left, it would cost me over $1000 more the next day. And I needed to pay for the truck and gas again!!!!! I was stuck, but had no choice and moved forward to the next day. The next day was really rainy. You can't blame the rain on the movers, but you'd think that they would take some precautions to protect our stuff from the elements. They didn't even try. They took our wood furniture and other items they will definitely be damaged by water, they took them out uncovered, left them on the sidewalk for a long time without putting it in the trailer. The guys came in and were nice. They came in the time frame in which was nice. It did not take long to load our stuff. Unfortunately one the white covers for our ottoman got some rust water dropped on it and the stain did not come out. The walk from the elevator to the apartment was longer then expected and since they had since 3 guys to help complete the job, even though we were quoted two, they charged more for each hour and thirty minutes extra. I went and got a luggage cart from the apartment complex to help and that did speed up the process. read more

We were a challenge cause of how boxes were packed and previous crap movers we used, but my angel movers were a godsend. They moved fast efficient coordinated worked well together no smoke breaks no food breaks no excuses. These movers are the real deal and I will never use another mover ever again. They treated our furniture and boxes with care they listened to our concerns and accommodated us fully. They communicated completely every step of the way!!! Based on the other yelp! reviews I thought it would be great and easy. It was easy for sure. The person who set up the move, Michael, was friendly and checked up for verification. The movers were pleasant. The move was not pleasant. They dragged mud and dirt into my NEW house (it was raining to be fair, but still). They left a CD stand in my home that had leaves and branches attached to it. They made puddles in my home due to the rain and moving, and attempted to clean one spot. They took things from the OLD house that I didn't want them to take, as well as left stuff that I DID want them to take and items that I specifically pointed out. They didn't ask where I wanted stuff, so they put my bed in the wrong place. Then got upset when they had to move it to the correct area. Later, I found out they put my mattress on backwards and on the wrong sides (so it needed to be flipped over and turned 30 degrees). The foreman did lifting and moving, but I would have liked more overseeing and directing from him. I was very disappointed in the move based on all these good things I've heard and read about them. Edit: this is speculation, but I'm pretty sure when the detached my bed to prepare for the move, they lost some nails. Two months later, three slabs from my bed frame (that I got a year ago, and this was the only move) broke off the bed frame. When I searched the area, I found one out of three potential screws, and one damage in my bed frame that looks like the screw was pulled through the wood and made the bed frame fall. I also found a gigantic tear in my mattress cover which explains why they my mattress was placed upside down. As well as bent springs in my mattress. In addition, I forgot to add in my initial post - they only accept credit cards as payment, so I thought I could add payment to my total bill for tip. That is not true. So I found out at the end of the job. While I was figuring things out one of the movers stated under his breath something of the affect of "if she doesn't pay us for all the moving and hard work we did, I'm gunna be pissed". Yes, it was my fault for not being prepared but I thought it was rude and unprofessional the way the move handled that. We needed a Moving Company to move a lot of furniture. We found this Company. We scheduled them; they came out with a large Truck & 3 men. They worked hard & used materials to protect the furniture. They were cordial & worked hard. It was a lot of furniture. We had furniture mioved from 3 locations between Baltimore, & Hampstead. All in all, we were happy. There was a couple small things that needed to be done. The owner of the company, Vee, was very nice. He came back and took care of it. If we ever need to move anything again, we will call them. My experience with the movers was good but I did have one issue with them that got resolved. I called them and they quoted me a price to move some large items from one house to the next. They were charging me $300 extra to disassemble and relocate a pool table. Unfortunately the movers did not have ANY experience with pool tables. After about an hour of struggling with the pool table I stopped the movers and called the manager and explained the situation. He understood and apologized and didn't charge me the $300. Other then that all the other items were moved without any issues and the movers were great to deal with. read more

Bad moving experience using this company. Very unskilled and not efficient crew they sent me. Thanks god for at least one them, Creg ( the one with the piercings) who did 80% of the job . The second member ( new on the job from what I gathered) did what he could but let's not mention the third person who just had this slow pace which delayed the entire process....and had me go over the estimate for 2.5hrs more hours. Order of Events Concerning My Personal Experience With My Angel Movers Beginning in late April or Early May I met with the sales representative of My Angel Movers.He estimated the load to be 800 cubic feet.I wanted to fail on the safe side so I requested his estimate be raised to 1000 cubic feet.No fuel surcharge was discussed or revealed at the sales meeting he quoted me $3500 for the job based on a 1000 cf load. Our initial meeting I offered him the job of moving my household effects based on his price. The initial estimated charge was $3K+additional 300 cubic feet were charged at $3 per cf w/additional $900 charge added.A fuel surcharge was added at 10% of total cost at $390.I feel this is beyond what I should have paid based on average fuel price&amount consumed on one-way trip.Additional charge for safe [bulky item]added at $250.$710 was paid as a deposit on the initial estimate of $3,500 leaving a remainder of $2,790. The actual total charges were $4,540, $3830 paid at load out once load was measured by actual volume used inside truck. Actual final total was $1,040 above the estimate that is a 23% increase over estimated amount. I was told no charge for dropping items at an offsite storage facility. I told sales person I had a storage unit already reserved due to size of our new home, some belongings would be delivered to a storage unit off site. The sales person stated [and wrote this in his job notes, not on the work ticket] that this is done no extra charge. Load was to be delivered 11/12 July 2017 were going to load small move behind mine, this load would be delivered 1st. 6 July 2017 truck reported on time at 10:30 AM. My Angel Movers, three personnel to load. Driver was the loader inside the truck was a company employee; 2 assistants from a labor pool were high school aged males. Assistants had little/no experience had to be monitored constantly. They required direction on what items to pick up/load once 1/2 load was on the truck,if they had experience, would known what to do or at least had the intelligence to ask the customer. Inexperienced assistants caused damage to an irreplaceable picture because they laid it flat inside the truck and the loader tripped on a pad blanket and stepped on the picture in an effort to keep from falling on his face. This broke glass & caused irreparable damage to the photograph in the frame. The driver asked me if this load was going into storage. Was told that load was to be delivered 11/12 July 2017, no storage arrangements were discussed. Driver told me his boss instructed him to drive load directly to Inverness, FL and unload it in direct conflict to what sales person told me at sales meeting where he procured the job. Owner told driver take load directly to FL else load would have to be put in storage re-loaded later. I did not feel this a good option as items would need to be handled 2 more times w/ possibility of damage being increased due to handling.Was told at contract signing by sales rep that 2nd load would be loaded behind mine, delivered 1st allowing for delayed delivery of belongings. This turned out to be false as owner's direction superseded the sales discussion. Load completed at 6:30 PM on 6 July driver directed by telephone from office to pick up another load after mine. I had to clean my home for closing following day, pack my car & depart 4:15 AM Friday AM 7 July 2017, drive/sleep on road to arrive in FL ahead of load. I arrived at 0830 Saturday 8 July 2017, truck arrived 14:30 PM. On both ends I assisted w/ loading/unloading. Owner then charged $200 more for the assistants packing a television w/box supplied by me a few items also had to be placed in plastic tubs at load out. The owner noted this required addition labor expense for packing my items. The 2nd drop off in FL not documented on work ticket by sales person was also part of the additional charge per owner. Sales person did not put the additional drop on ticket causing conflict with owner due to incomplete documentation. MY ADVICE TO ANYONE WHO DEALS WITH THIS COMPANY. *Get everything documented on the work ticket no he said, she said, they said later on. *Have estimated cf as the final price paid. If estimate low company should eat extra costs, within reason *Get firm delivery dates for your move, no change once items have been loaded. If customer agrees to any change, adjustments to price needed. Be sure your items are not being stored unless agreed to in advance. *Never believe what some one tells you, make sure you have it on work ticket or contract *Beware of tactics by owner, he will manipulate you into paying more if he can. Again, get everything in writing on the work ticket to avoid many unpleasant surprises *Fuel surcharge is above actual price for fuel as a flat rate of 10% of load. My odometer was less than 900 miles to Inverness Estimated fuel consumption is 8 mpg for 26 ft truck 900 miles/8 mpg=113 gal x $2.443 per gal=$276.05 total fuel cost vs $390 charged read more

We called these guys and they delivered in every way except service. quote changed when complete move done. They broke a wooden serving cabinet, an antique mirror and one of our dressers is damaged. As this was our experience with professional movers I was expecting much more. The mirror was a piece left to my wife by her mother when she passed. Don't even know how to approach replacing. These guys were personable and easy to work with. They moved my 3 story town home into storage. They were quick but they need training on how to protect furniture. My living room furniture was deep scratched into the leather and also suffered paint scratches. I was compensated for the leather scratches that will need repair. I was disappointed yesterday when I visited my storage unit and found the cement bottom of one of my lamps broken in 4 pieces. It doesn't even stand on its own anymore - it's trash. I had to find both of these damages to my furniture. They did not voluntarily tell me about any of the damage I discovered - just gave excuses about the sofa - apparently covered in the contract if furniture is large. Even though they compensated me minimally for my sofa repair, I am super worried about how the rest of the furniture looks now. Not cheap furniture. These guys deserve WAY more than just 5 stars. Let me tell you my experience. I was in Japan for the summer and arrived back to the states 2 days before I had to move. I should have prepared better, but oh well. I explain my situation over e-mail to these guys and they are understanding. Because I'm out of the country I'm unreachable through phone so we have to only correspond through e-mail, but they were ALWAYS responsive and fast. I tell them that because I have to move out on a sunday and because I arrive basically 10 hours before I have to move, I need help packing my belongings in addition to the actual move itself. I lived in Downtown Baltimore, moving to Brooklyn, NY. They tell me that's not a problem at all--normally, they said they would do an evaluation of my apartment to see how much stuff I have and give me an estimate, but because of my circumstances, they're willing to give me a flat rate which includes boxes, shrink wrap, packing, and moving. That's amazing. They come to my place at 8:30, we pack all morning and then they drive my stuff to Brooklyn. The unloading took less than an hour. These guys had to deal with my move alone all day across multiple state lines and they just roll with the punches, they're so chill and they make your move as easy as possible. I cannot emphasize how professional and nice these movers, who were Zeke and Vadim, two exceptionally strong and fast Russian guys, were. I highly recommend you hire them for your move in Maryland or if you're moving to Maryland from the DMV vicinity. read more

This was a business move and I was nervous about being able to get all my office equipment into the new space, which as in a old Georgetown building, on the 3rd floor with spiral stairs going up and no elevator. These guys are cheaters. Out of 3 men promised only one was strong professional movers. At the end of the move they asked for 33% more money than the original quote. I had to hire strong guys to move washer and dryer at the delivery location and pay 200 dollars on top. Please don't fall in the trap of cheap service if you are moving interstate! read more

I used them to move my 3 bedroom house locally, they were very professional, packed everything carefully and charged me less than the estimate because they finished half an hour faster!I will recommend them to all my friends and family. I did find 2 broken cups when I unpacked(still not finished...)but I packed my boxes,so I probably didn't do it right,not their fault. Don't use this company for ANY KIND OF MOVE!!! The workers have terrible attitudes and aren't well-equipped to move. They entered my former home and complained about how much stuff I had (??!!). I'm paying you to do a job: NOT TO COMPLAIN! They dropped/knocked over a CLOSED BIN of my perfumes, lied and claimed it was left open, and made an absolute MESS of my arranged bottles! Then, the worker then had the audacity to say "it was opened"...As if things couldn't be more stressful and aggravating on "moving day", they showed up with a HUGE TRUCK and DID NOT MOVE ALL OF MY ITEMS, b.s. explanation and excuse about "liquids" not being "transportable"?!? What's the purpose of moving with a OVERSIZED TRUCK if YOU CAN'T MOVE eVeRyThiNg??!! And now, I have a lopsided mattress because the bedframe roller/wheel is missing. Sorry I didn't read these reviews FIRST!! They did to other reviewers. If you're able, just rent a truck and DO IT YOURSELF...like I will NOW have to do and get the REST of my things. read more

We had the best experience with this company!!!! We moved my mother-in-law from PA to FL. We had received estimates from other companies and decided to do the move ourselves. However, we were concerned with lifting the furniture, so we looked for professional movers to load the rental truck. Vadim, Vy, contacted me immediately once I did an online search. His employee accidentally sent us an estimate for moving from PA to FL. The numbers were significantly less then any estimate we received, so I contacted Vy and asked for more specific info for our situation. He was honest and seemed fair, so we made a deal. We met them at the time of the move. They were polite, friendly, courteous, professional, and personable. I work long hours and Vy wad available everyone I had a question or concern through the entire process. On the day of the move, they notified us that they were running late and had to go @1hr and 20 min out of their way to find a weigh station. They were careful of every piece of furniturea box. They paused for a rain delay, because we had everything packed in boxes. Two people loaded a 1-2 bedroom apartment in 2hrs and unloaded it in 1 1/2hrs. It took them 1 day to drive to FL. We were very pleased with the entire experience and recommend them to anyone, including family who are also considering long distance moves in the near future. If you want to go with a low budget company this is the company to use. Also if you have an intricate disassembly you need, DO NOT go with this company. One of the two movers I got was okay. The other mover didn't follow instructions. This move took way longer that it should have. I also had 3 friends helping me. They will find a way to stretch the time. One, they so called had a tool that was stripped and this was happening on the clock. Luckily I had the same exact tool they needed. Two, they took 3 minutes to shrink wrap the wrong mattress. Three, I had a friend help me and stayed back to eat lunch, these guys sat in the parking lot for a whole 20 minutes before leaving to go to the next destination. Four, they assembled my bed incorrectly, I asked for the owner to come back out and do it, he said that is not what they are billed for, they are billed for labor. What is confusing to me is that, on the site they said they assemble and disassemble. Five, a mirror was broken, my matters ended up with oil stains, they moved as slow as they could to get the most of my money. I DO NOT recommend this service. The owner is really nice when looking for business. After they get your business, they could careless. The customer car sucked. Save your money and look for a more reputable company. The only reason I would say use them is if you have nothing if value or any furniture to assemble. read more

I encourage anyone searching for a moving company not to hire My Angel Movers. They are completely unprofessional! My Angel Movers was scheduled to arrive at my home between 2-3pm. At 2:15pm, I received a call from management explaining that their crew would be about 15 minutes late due to an unforeseen issue that occurred earlier that day. To make up for the inconvenience, he added that he would throw in an additional crew member and an extra hour at no additional cost. If only I knew then, what I know now. The crew didn't show for another THREE HOURS!!! I called several times for an ETA and got the runaround each time. Never once did I get an honest answer. To add insult to injury, they ripped my sofa (pictures attached) and OVERCHARGED ME! When I called to inquire about the extra charge, the manager said he never offered to give me an extra hour and that he built the extra cost into the fine print of the contract. DO NOT use this COMPANY! I AM IN MARYLAND and Not CA! I received a call the night before that the truck broke down from the owner Mr. V. He was and is extremely RUDE! I never received a call from Mr. V. at 10:00 a.m., on August 31, 2018 as promised. However, having heard nothing, I called him at 11:15 a.m. This was the beginning of the verbal attack Mr. V. began towards me. I asked Mr. V. to clarify when the truck and movers would arrive. At this point he became extremely agitated and with an elevated voice, he told me that I had two options; cancel the move and get a refund or wait. I had given prior notice to my old apartment that I planned to move out on August 31, 2018, so clearly, I had no choice in this matter. I had to wait. As I waited for the movers to show up, my cousin came to help move whatever she could since I recently had foot surgery and was not physically able to move anything on my own. While on the phone with Mr. V. he said per his contract he was within his rights and that this would hold up in court. My cousin told him that although we had a contract, the content in the contract would be at question in court. At this point I told Mr. V. that I was looking forward to seeing the movers and awaiting their call as to the approximate time of their arrival. This is not my first move, I have never experienced the lack of professionalism displayed by Mr. V. He was The movers did not arrive until 5:00 p.m. and did not have any hand trucks Once the movers arrived, eight hours after my scheduled 9:30 a.m. appointment time, they did not have a hand truck, leverage straps, nor a trolley-NOTHING, to properly move my furniture. I immediately called Mr. V., and asked why the movers came without the necessary equipment needed to complete the job. He began to yell and told me he did not send them. He alleged the foreman had sent them without the necessary equipment. Mr. V. also said he sent a fourth person to make up for the fact that there was no hand truck. I challenged him on this statement and said regardless of the number of people sent to help with the move, a hand truck is an essential tool in the moving process. I tried to explain this to Mr. V., and he hung up. The movers essentially had to put the boxes on their backs and take them from my old apartment to the new apartment. The move that was slated for 4 hours took a whole evening! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! The owner is rude and has no respect for his staff or for his CLIENTS! These guys actually get ZERO stars from me. My mother hired them to move her from Towson to Aberdeen. She did a detailed estimate online which they encouraged her to do, and they quoted her $700 to move from her very small apartment into our home. She literally had 2 rooms of furniture. The first thing that disturbed me was that they were asking her to write a check for $1,200 as soon as they arrived at our home and had not even unloaded the truck! THAT WAS $500 OVER THIER QUOTE! They proceeded to finish the job and take off before anyone could really inspect the work. 1). They smashed several pieces of furniture into our walls and ceiling. This not only put huge gouges in our walls but also damaged the furniture. 2). They did nothing to protect the floors in our new home as they were unloading. We have photos of the dirt and mud they tracked in on our brand new beige carpet! 3). They did not compete the reassembly of SEVERAL pieces of furniture. Leaving bed supports lying loose under her bed and the tops of cabinets loose on the base when they should have been reattached. 4). The truck and moving blankets were all a filthy mess. They used this issue as a way to rip her off by telling her that if she didn't pay an extra charge to wrap her things, she would have to risk them getting dirty. REALLY??! I immediately called Mr. V on her behalf and we have been getting jerked around by him since December 13th. I had asked for a refund of $250 as I thought the over charge was massively suspicious as well as the fact that we spent 3 - 4 hours after they left cleaning carpet, spakling walls and ceilings and assembling some of the pieces they left loose. After several heated phone calls Mr. V said he would come out personally to repair the furniture and put the bed back together. He also told me over the phone that he would bring his checkbook on that day and we would settle up on the refund. He seemed professional when he came to our home. He did do a decent job on the furniture repairs and reattached the bed support. We then talked about the rest of the compensation I would accept for the the damages. I was firm that I still wanted a refund of $200 and no less. Mr. V was disappointed but said that "It wasn't worth fighting over." We shook hands on the agreement but guess what.....HE DID NOT HAVE HIS CHECKBOOK! I should have been really worried at that point, but felt I should trust him so he assured me that he was mailing a check as soon as he got back to his office. Over a week later, no check. SURPRISE, SURPRISE! I had to call a few times before I caught him and told him we did not receive the check. His answer was that he would have to check with the Post Office and would call me back right away. ANOTHER SURPRISE....NO PHONE CALL! It has been almost a month now since he came out and promised the check. We now have to file a lawsuit to get the refund that my mother most certainly deserves. Our entire experience with them has been unbelievably frustrating and a waste of time. I have honestly never dealt with a more unprofessional and sleazy business. read more
