Just this morning in front of me I saw the giant red truck as shown in picture running stop signs red lights and then speeding up on the highway on highway 12, looking to the left, with their camera up, to try to take a picture of me because I took a picture of their truck at a stoplight. This is not a sane person driving it. Thursday, May 29th, I observed this truck run the stop sign at Challenger way *(just north of Mercury way) westbound, ZERO stop at sign, just rolled right thru, disregarding oncoming traffic.. Then at the stoplight just north of that intersection at Sebastopol road, No stop AGAIN, they ran the red light on a right turn on red. When I pulled up next to them at a stoplight on their right at the next intersection, they observed me taking this picture because then they drove like an even worse Maniac and trying to keep up with me. Making a left northbound on Stony point to get into eastbound highway 12, they swerved across multiple Lanes of traffic while towing a vehicle to get onto the ramp behind me, and then they desperately floored it while towing a vehicle to hold their camera up and turn to the left while they're driving 70 mph towing a vehicle. I can't talk about their towing ability, for all I know this is one person shop and this is the owner, but I sure hope they see this review, find out who was doing a pickup on Mercury way at this date and time and fire their ass. And if it IS the owner, what the hell? I know many tow drivers, they are METICULOUS about stopping, obeying every law, driving safely, why are YOU? Whoever They are.. They should not be behind the wheel. And before you think this a made-up claim, I have every bit of this on dash cam. All saved, getting turned into the police now. Who said they can't do much, but they will make a note. They said they would have to see it themselves, not second hand, and can't follow up on my dash cam, but it goes into their files?

On a weekend, with no garages and few towing services open nearby, we were left stranded with no way to get around, including to the grocery store to buy food for our stay. We needed to get our car back to the dealership in Santa Rosa so we could get it fixed and arrange for a rental car. We spent hours on the phone with AAA trying to arrange a tow, only to have one company cancel on us and another pushing back their ETA by 5-6 hours and generally acting rude/annoyed. When we explained our dilemma to Santa Rosa Towing Service, they kindly agreed to see what they could do, even though our location was technically further away than the areas they technically serve. The dispatchers were friendly and communicative, and they were able to get a truck to us within two hours of calling. Martin, our tow truck driver was incredibly professional and friendly, and helped us feel at ease in a stressful situation.

He looked for my spare in my car, a 2014 Kia, and guess what? Kia did not include a spare. It seems that gas mileage might be affected by another few pounds in the trunk, so car makers leave them out!! This should be unlawful. Anyway, Rolando got my car on to his rig and off we went. What a decent, pleasant and nice person he turned out to be. The price was fair, his service was great and I met a great human being. I highly recommend him but hope my new tires will keep me on the road for awhile.

The first…read moretowing company they assigned to me never showed up after almost 2 1/2 hour wait, so Farmers reassigned me to Bear Flag Towing. Blaise showed up within 30 minutes and besides getting the car started was just an incredibly pleasant person to chat with. We talked about some of his more interesting towing jobs recently, and the more we chatted I realized what an intelligent and perceptive person he is. He told me he shares his name with Blaise Pascal, the person who invented the modern theory of hydraulics. He said this was interesting because hydraulics are a big part of the towing business. I showed him my 10-year-old sports car and we had a great time talking about the reliability of this particular brand. I can assure you if Blaise shows up you will be totally satisfied and you will have a very nice interaction with a fellow human! Sort of what Sonoma County is all about - nice people who are good at their jobs.
