I've had good and bad spray tans before, never with d-light. I conveyed that I was concerned about turning orange. Heather was so delightful and comforting. I get my spray on. I look crazy. It's purplish gray. Heather said Trust the process. I drove home. I'm streaky, I'm sticky, I'm frustrated, I'm worried. 3 hours later I shower off and I have a very light greyish tan. I was initially a little disappointed it wasn't very warm. I thought "bummer this was not worth the money." I go to sleep on it, wake up....Bronze (for me) goddess!!!!! I don't know if it was the lights I was standing in the night before or if it continued to develop overnight. It's a warm tan but not crazy and not streaky at all. I love it! Trust the process! I was planning on doing myself. I don't wear a lot of makeup anyway, I can do it myself. Yadda yadda yadda. This is one of those decisions that in hindsight I would never question again. I wasn't really interested in futzing with fake eyelashes on my big day. We paid for a good photographer and even though I have good skin, every single imperfection and discoloration and anything will show up on the high quality photos and BOY AM I GLAD I sprung for getting my makeup done. I can tell as my photographer took pictures of me before and during my makeup application and I saw flaws and spots and pinkness in my skin (around my nose etc) that I never realized was there. All of that vanished under flawless makeup Sarah applied. Sarah took my suggestions for color and ran with them. She is meticulous and has the utmost attention to detail. She does not rush. She does not over do it. In the end my makeup was FLAWLESS and added beautiful shades of color to my face without looking like I was wearing too much. I have never felt so beautiful in my life. Her application of fake lashes will put any other makeup artist's to shame! I couldn't even tell where my lashes were and where the fake lashes were upon scrutinizing in the mirror up close. They would have stayed on for DAYS. So would the rest of the makeup. She uses MAC/high quality waterproof that will not come off in rain or with the inevitable tears, etc. On a side note, she is just the type of person you'll want on your big day. You really feel like she is focusing on every detail and she is not rushing or distracted. She really makes you feel like she is dedicated to doing her best work for you and 100% focused on you. She was early to our appointment. I could go on and on. Sarah has a working relationship with Honey Salon and can do makeup in their *beautiful* space. Very convenient as I did both my practice sessions and my big day hair and makeup in the same spot. She charges a fair price - you really get what you pay for with this one. I had a meeting with another plastic surgeon in Del mar, California. His estimate was startling and well beyond what I could afford. I then went to see Dr. Lichtenberger and he explained to me that I didn't need to undergo unnecessary procedures to get what I was looking for. Instead, he felt that I could attain a natural look and that's exactly what he did for me at a reasonable cost. The office staff at Life Aesthetic Center, including Erin, Debbie and Dana, made me feel so much at home and so comfortable while undergoing the initial consultation, the preoperative appointment and finally the procedure and follow-up appointments, putting me at ease with lots of great information. Dr. Lichtenberger is one of the most sincere, patient and truly caring people I have ever met. He is an outstanding listener, and I never felt like I was asking a stupid question. Despite my nervousness prior to the procedures, he said that was normal and on the day of my procedures, he put me at ease the entire time. His surgical staff was also top-notch and I am grateful to them as well. We here in Bellingham are extremely fortunate to have Dr. Lichtenberger in our community. The receptionist Brenda told me I would need three months of chiropractor service, which I did. After four months I called back and asked Brenda if I could get a consultation with one of the doctors, she then rudely while I was still speaking put me on hold. When she came back she said she didnt have a referral from a doctor. I then tried to explain that I had the Xrays and visits to the chiropractor, she then said I would also need 12 months of documentation from a doctor. I was shocked since I wasn't told that before. She said that it was required by my insurance. I immediately called my insurance where they told me it was not a requirement I even had the insurance rep call Brenda. When the insurance lady called me back she was stunned how Brenda was acting even though she explained to her that a year of documentation was not a requirement. I sincerely hope that the doctors know what a disservice this woman is doing for their business. I have read other reviews that are not good. I will not only not be going to this office but I will tell everyone I know what a bad experience I had.
