Five Star Fitness AZ is more than just a gym, it's an environment where you come in to get better,…read moreand the people around you make you want to level up. What separates this place from most gyms in Scottsdale is the environment and the people. You can find guidance, build real connections, meet mentors, and surround yourself with people who are genuinely pushing themselves. The owner (Mr Jay Dang) is also there every single day, actively involved in the day-to-day operations, which is rare and makes a huge difference in how smoothly the gym runs. The equipment is clean, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the people have great energy. And if you take content seriously, this is a completely different experience from your typical commercial gym. You can pull out a tripod, film your workouts, and create content without feeling like the weird guy in the corner. Everyone understands that this is a place to work, create, and get better. If you're serious about elevating your fitness, your network, and the people you surround yourself with, Five Star is the type of investment that goes beyond a gym membership. If you can afford it and you're serious about leveling up, I genuinely think it's one of the best environments in Arizona!!!

Family. Results. Motivation. Confidence. Accountability…read more I will NEVER find another gym that offers all that John Allen's Personal Training has given me and my daughter! From the moment I walked in the gym, I knew this was going to be different than the typical "membership driven, mega-chain gym" we're accustomed to. Boy was I right! John took his time listening to my goals and more importantly, he set expectations on just how exactly we'll get there... together! I'm loving my personalized one-on-one training sessions with his Personal trainer team Babbet, Brandon, Lee and I look forward to training with them all!! This gym is sparkling clean from the studio to the showers and lockers. Based on that assurance, I agreed. I canceled within 24 hours . However, the refund was refused. I was also not provided a written copy of the contract or cancellation policy at the time of signing. This experience was very disappointing. We were cancelling due to health reasons . John Allen is not trustworthy person . He gives false promise and cheat people by taking their money and start ignoring calls and messages once he got the money . I recommend that anyone considering signing up ask for the full written contract and not rely on verbal assurances. I do not recommend anyone to join this place . We felt misled and disappointed by how this was handled. Please make sure you receive all terms in writing before committing to any payment.

This October, it will be two years since I've been coming to KBX and it has truly changed my life…read more I always tell my friends and family, it is like second therapy. However, the beginning of this year I become complacent and was really only coming to one class a week and making a lot of excuses to not do more. My physical and mental health were definitely being affected, so I decided to sign up for the six week Boot Camp. I'm not gonna lie, I was pretty intimidated in the beginning, but I really wanted to challenge myself, reset some habits, and overall get back to something I really enjoy. The six weeks helped me get back on track with my hydration goals, eating healthier, and going from one to maybe two classes a week to some weeks doing 5 to 6. Ultimately, it helped me recognize that with some small steps and keeping focused on my goals I was able to make some real change. What I really enjoyed as well was it really was designed for each individual person to go at their own pace. We had a group chat that constantly encouraged each other, shared recipes, and motivated each other on the bad days. It was about the small wins, and always going back to our health is beyond the six weeks. Yes, I saw results and that definitely helped motivate me to keep going, but really it helped me recognize that I want to be a healthier whole person and in order to do that I need to show up for myself. I may not now be doing 5 to 6 classes a week, but doing 2 to 4 is absolutely manageable with my schedule. Thank you so much Joe and all the support you gave each of us during Boot Camp! Your guidance and encouragement definitely made the whole experience! If you haven't done a class at KBX yet I highly suggest you do it! You will not regret it.

Top notch Trainer's and unique tailored workouts: It has been a while since I have worked out…read morebecause I tend to hurt myself. I personally have avoided the Gym rat trainer, because I feel like they only know how to show me what has worked for them, and will blame me and not be able to help me if I get hurt.
