I selected MVC Cleaning from the yelp services. They came in and cleaned up my entire apartment. I had a two bedrooms / one bathroom apartment. I had two cleaners come in and clean up the entire place top to bottom. They never stopped working they worked their butt's off. The bathroom was a lot to clean and it looked better than when I moved in. These guys were professional, they were hard working and good people. I feel taken care of and I feel like I definitely got my money's worth on this cleaning. I would give this company a 6 star review if I could give it to them read more

Great, thorough cleaning service! Very professional and efficient, and did a great job with our kitchen.

I was contacted concerning my previous review as to whether or not the situation could be resolved. They sent a second crew and got the issues resolved and then some. They worked very hard on both occasions and were extremely friendly and respectful of myself and the property. I will recommend MVC Professional Cleaning B read more

[UPDATE] A customer service representative from MVC reached out to me and apologized for the poor experience we had with them along. They were very kind and responsive in making reparations with us, ensuring us that in the future staff would be better trained. I wish all the best for this business (review updated from 1 to 3 stars for post experience customer service) I needed a local cleaning service for a move out clean of my home (6bed 3bath, a large apartment) and I found MVC through Yelp after digging through a plethora of Yelp reviews. Their stellar history of 5 star reviews, extremely responsive customer service, and quote led me to choose them for the job. After messaging through Yelp and a follow up call in which I detailed not only the square footage and basics of my home but also detailed out approximately how many windows, cabinets, drawers, and doors there were, I gave them my information and confirmed and appointment. Still only green flags for this cleaning service. This is where things start to go wrong. The arrival window for the team was 1 hour between 10-11am, no communication and no show until 11:30. I called the company at 11 asking where the cleaners were and only then was I informed they were "held up" at the previous place. Fine, whatever, as long as the job gets done. The team that arrived did not speak any English, to the point that all communication was being done through Google translate. The team was cleaning from 11:30-5 and my roommates and I were planning to come at 5 (since our initial quote was 5-6.5hrs starting at 10am) to do one last sweep of the place and toss any remaining items, when we arrived it looked as if not much progress had been made at all. The supervisor eventually called the team off around 6:30, and at that time only the kitchen/living room and 2.5 of the bathrooms were cleaned. I had been on and off the phone with the cleaning company 5 times THAT DAY, with them calling me at random intervals, interrupting my workday and meetings multiple times. In the end, it took management until 9pm to get back to me and attempt to resolve the unfinished cleaning, but only after I told them I refused to pay for an unfinished cleaning (we tipped the cleaners themselves before we left). Management eventually compromised and said they would send another team the next day and only charge us for the initial quote, and ended up finishing the job. This only after 8 calls, multiple headaches, and one too many raised voices on the phone. I would absolutely never use this service again, the clean itself was fine, but the nightmare of a journey it was working with this company was definitely not worth it. Take your business somewhere else. read more

I cannot say enough good things about MVC! My 82 year old parents had let their apartment get extremely run down (which is the understatement of the century). My dad just passed away and I was horrified by the state of their place. Everything was dirty, grime covered, smelly and in some cases urine soaked (from their cat). MVC scheduled a deep clean with almost no notice, came on time and cleaned every inch of the apartment! When they were done I was amazed by the transformation. Everything smelled delightful, the carpets were spotless and the surfaces looked brand new! To top it off they were so kind about how dirty everything was when they got there. They were friendly and patient with my mom (who has dementia) and never seemed even for a second to mind the fact that they were cleaning some horrifically nasty areas. They only charged $500 for the 6 hours they were there cleaning and carpet cleaning. I was terrified to see the bill because I was afraid that it would be at least $1000. I would use their services again in a second, and highly recommend them to anyone who needs a deep cleaning on their place!:) PS: to the crew that cleaned the apartment, I am SO sorry that my mom was mean to you and kicked you out when you asked for the check. I had let her know in advance that I would pay using the card on file with the company, and her dementia is so bad that all she could remember was that she didn't have to pay. She sometimes gets angry when she is confused. And it sounds like she was mean to you after all of the amazing work you did. I am so sorry. Please know how grateful I am for all of your hard work and kindness! You are all amazing!:) Thank you for everything! read more

I've had cleaners over the years periodically. These folks were the best. Timely response to inquiry. On time arrival. Fair cost. Most importantly, great cleaning. Here is an embarrassing example of some grime in my shower that needed cleaning. Below is the after pics. The speak for themselves. Book them. read more

Quick to respond to Yelp job request, low bidder and quality exterior window cleaning work.

Needed professional feel cleaning for our unit. Had a mice problem and needed cleaning after exterminating them. Called few companies for estimates. MVC responded and gave me a quote. They came out and cleaned the garages that were affected and they did a great job. Thank you so much. read more

I dealt with Suzie to set up cleaning of my son's small house in Oakland. I explained that it was around 900 sq ft with 3 small bedrooms and 3 small bathrooms. I was sent an email stating undder QUOTE: Deep cleaning 10-12 hrs for a 2 people team, on the second para was the estimate for 4 hours minimum of $160 which I opted for. Then when I was trying to confirm the date, they quoted me $200! Total waste of my time. They switched the rate on me! Very unprofessional, I would not recommend this company. I was completely surprised to see that there was hair in the bathroom, footprints in the tub and crud in the corners after this very small and empty studio apartment was "cleaned" prior to a new move in. This was a complete waste of money as I had to hire a different company to come in and do a better job. I will not be using this company again and don't recommend them to others. read more

Extremely responsive when coordinating service. Did an incredible job with apartment move out cleaning.

I scheduled MVC Cleaning for a deep clean after being away for a few weeks and having some drywall repairs. I picked them over the other quotes due to how quickly they responded and because I wanted to support a female owned company. Trish and her team were super responsive on yelp, flexible about scheduling, and kindly found me a time for a last minute booking when my schedule opened up. The team was very pleasant and friendly and did a great job cleaning the bathrooms, hardwood floors, and rooms. I appreciated that they also cleaned the window sills. I had some minor concerns about dust falling from the loft's first floor to the second & saw that they didn't clean the dust off our bookshelves. Since the cleaning team only spoke Spanish, we weren't able to talk to them about specifics - like not wearing their outside shoes on our carpet. I felt like giving 4 stars for this reason, but it's possible that we are just really particular about cleaning :) Still, they did a great job and were extremely pleasant. All items were put back in their place, linens were folded nicely, and they even put away the dishwasher load for me - which was a nice surprise. read more

Allegra and Melda did a move-in clean for us and did an amazing job. They were thorough and extremely hard working and pleasant to work with. MVC was communicative and overall a great value. The house is transformed from this morning to now! read more

Did not have a great experience with MVC. Their cleaners were not very professional. They damaged paint, left footprints and ruined some outdoor furniture. Most importantly, they did not bright these items to our attention and simply left after the job was "done." read more

MVC did a wonderful job when I called them in to do a one-time deep clean of my home. Their prices were affordable and the quality and attention to detail of their cleaning services were spectacular. We hired MVC Professional Cleaning for a deep clean. Scheduling the appointment was easy - they were very responsive, answered all of our questions, and accommodated our schedule. The cleaning crew arrived right on time. They were extremely detail-oriented and very hard working. They cleaned things I never would have thought to clean and even did things we didn't expect like sweep outside. Also, there were no surprises when it came to the bill - the quote we'd gotten in advance was exactly right. We'd hire them again in a heartbeat. read more

I had a client who had been hospitalized suddenly and was being discharged from the hospital after 2 months as an inpatient. The 600 sq ft studio needed a deep cleaning. The team of two cleaners were on time, professional and thorough. Their attention to detail was excellent. It made the client's reintegration back home easy. I would not hesitate to use them again. read more

Amy is responsive, professional, and clear in her communication. She accommodated a date change for the service since I made an error on the requested quote. Daniela and team did a fantastic job. The entire house was spotless and better organized than ever. I look forward to the next cleaning.

Very professional staff and smooth scheduling via yelp messaging and phone. Laura and one other nice lady did an immaculate deep cleaning job at my 2 story townhome type apartment. I was hopeless and fortunately, MVC were quick in responding to my queries. Bathroom tiles cleaned, oven detailed, cleaned fridge inside and out, countertops and dishes cleared. Note: i own an indoor cat. Came home with clean, fresh scented, home. I left the cleaners home - they did their job like someone was watching. I would use their service for a routine biweekly cleaning. Thank you MVC. Highly recommended! read more

Scheduled a deep cleaning for our Oakland home through Trish via Yelp. She was extremely prompt with her responses and was very professional. The two ladies that cleaned my home were extremely thorough and did an excellent job of deep cleaning the space. I left specific instructions with Trish on focus areas, and was very pleased that every surface was left spotless and dust free. The ladies even cleaned the baseboards and window seals which was really important to us. This was the first time we've gotten our home deep cleaned, and we're really pleased with how the ladies did. Will definitely be hiring MVC for our monthly cleanings moving forward! read more

We have used a different more widely known business for the last 3 years. We were pleased with their service, but immediately suspended our scheduled cleanings with them due to covid-19. I was referred to Awesome Office Cleaners by a neighbor, who I saw receiving a disinfectant cleaning. I had never had any issues with our previous cleaning company, but after having Awesome Office Cleaners clean and disinfect our home, it's clear that things with our old company could be sooo much better. Awesome Office Cleaners paid attention to detail, and literally made my place sparkle! I didn't know what I was missing out on until I hired them. I will 100% be using them in the future for all of my cleanings...Definitely worth giving them a call! read more

MVC was super responsive and wonderful for move in cleaning of my 1 bedroom. I had a few easy calls to get scheduled with folks on the phone, then the cleaners (a team of two lovely women) arrived very promptly (even early) at my home. They did a great job for an incredible price, scrubbed all the corners, closets, fridge and floors and allowed me to check for anything missing before they left. It was a really seamless process and so much help for the stress of moving. Great prices and really good people. read more

I called MVC to do a move out cleaning for my rental property. The response was very quick and when they called me back to follow up they were very clear about the service they will provide and the price for it. The price was very reasonable too. I was not in the town and the kitchen and the bathrooms were not in a good condition. Since I was not in the property I asked,Trish, one of the customer service members, to send me before and after cleaning pictures. She was so helpful and communicating with me through emails and sending pictures. And when I said I am not happy with one of the bathrooms, the cleaning team did go back to the property and cleaned the whole bathroom one more time without any charge. All in all, at the end my new tenant was very impressed and happy with the level of cleaning and disinfecting that the MVC team did for the property. Thank you MVC cleaning team, you are the best. read more

I was looking for not only a reasonable but small business to support and MVC did not disappoint. The other reason why I selected MVC is that it is female owned and I fully support that. Trish and the team were great. We had a large apartment complex that needed to be cleaned the team was not only on time but professional. We had not had the windows cleaned in over 30 years and after they came and cleaned, it look phenomenal. I would highly recommend them and for our building, will definitely book them again. They were also easy to work with and fast in responding as well as scheduling time to come out quickly. MVC's price was very reasonable. read more

Great cleaners, would highly recommend. We needed our apartment to look in great condition as we were moving to get our deposit back. 3 cleaners came and spent 3 hours cleaning, did a great job given the time constraint, I'm very impressed - its a world of difference before and after. I used them for carpet cleaning too, and great job there as well, got a lot of the stains out and carpet was clean. Overall happy with the service and with the price, would highly recommend! read more
