Alison takes a maximum of 5 dogs on the group walks, so Camilla has plenty of attention in a less overwhelming environment. Most importantly Camilla gets to run off-leash and explore the local parks! Alison typically takes Camilla (& now my other dog, Jasper) for several hours, despite the "one hour" price. Both of my dogs are high energy, so the off-leash adventure walks are a great way to physically and mentally tire them out. Alison leaves a note stating the time she picked up and dropped off the dogs, along with a little sentence about where they went. We've bumped into Alison at the dog park several times and the dogs are always beyond excited & happy to see her!! I know Alison truly cares about all the dogs in her pack - on what I thought was Camilla's last day with the group before I moved, Alison took Camilla for the ENITRE DAY! I was starting to question my own judgement in terms of expectations - was I asking too much of a potential service provider to answer specific questions regarding the services they provide? UHH NO! Because A Walk In The Park had no problem answering them, plus some. I received an email back from Julie within 24 hours, and it was very well detailed and made me feel so much better about everything. And no, it's NOT typical for a dog walking co to refuse questions related to the business they run. I've been in touch with a few other people & walkers, and the first one was the ONLY one that freaked out. Just goes to show, if you get a bad feeling from one, move on to another.

We would have been gone for over 12 hours and that is not okay with us. Our boy is very special to us! I went on Yelp and found Kathryn. She met my dog and me that day and was truly wonderful. Our boy loved her instantly. I even got to meet some of the other dogs that she walks and they were very happy to be with her. She walked our dog for us the next day while we were skiing. It was such a relief having someone as kind as Kathryn to help us out. She even gave me advice on where to go and what to see in the city. She's a lovely person and is excellent with animals. A+!

Our lovely yellow labrador is a very high energy dog. He has been in two different dog daycare facilities and been booted out of both. Not because he is a bad dog, just because he is energetic and tends to get the rest of the group going. He is a party dog and wants everyone to have fun too! Claire takes Winston and a pack of other dogs on off leash hikes throughout the surround area. Most of the hikes are over in North Vancouver. She goes out of her way to keep the owner (me) updated as to when she picks up the dogs, hits the trails, leaves the trail and then drops the dog home. It is a 2 1/2 hour excursion that really helps to release energy and show my dog how to be part of a pack. I have seen a noticeable difference in his behavior. He seems more cal,m and listens much better. Wagging Trails deserves all the business they can support. If you are in need of an amazing dog walking/hiking service Claire is your girl! She is easy to book, very responsive to questions. I have three boys in separate, custom enclosures, and they aren't great travelers. Leslie comes by once or twice a day to my apartment when I'm away and takes care of all the food, cleaning and treats that this little dudes require. She sends lots of pictures and updates. I'm very comfortable leaving them in her care. I believe she may have some boarding options available also for the littles. Highly recommended!
