The staff are so kind and loving, and in a recent 8 night stay Figs was sick and they kept me up to date and made sure he was cared for as I couldn't get back from my trip in time to take him to the vet. Shaved her, even though I had a conversation with the owner Milena prior to grooming- Milena had told me that my puppy wouldn't be shaved because of the fact that she is too little and young and the fact that she just had her spay done. Yet my pup got shaved very short and blotchy - she is shaking till this day. CHLOE also cut her eye lash off and her ears are uneven!!! And when I called to complain they said I needed to come in for the refund- please note that the groomer CHLOE was not empathetic at this time and all she said was "I didn't see it" and when asked about her lashes she said "I thought it curled down". Still this is no excuse!!! So I went in for the refund and spoke with CHLOE face to face. She had the audacity to say "well, I was being sweared at" well, no shit, you made my first puppy bleed because of your fucking negligence, and kept saying that she had an rbf as well as a resting bitch tone........... I find this unacceptable. I posted on my Instagram and found out that CHLOE also did some other bad work on other pups and reacted the same way. They offered me to come back to get her groomed by the owner, but I'm too jaded to go back as my pup is already traumatized by that place. When I said my dog is traumatized and shivering, they offered me a little sweater for her, which was a nice gesture, but somehow this aggravated me even more, as if offering me free things would make this all better... It's infuriating, the fact that the groomer really didn't take ownership of what happened. Like, how could you or did you not know? Because CHLOE took less than 2 hrs to groom my pup. Had she taken her time, she could have avoided this whole thing. Maybe that's why the dog I saw on the way out did not want to go into this place.

They said unless the dog had bitten someone, they weren't coming. You disappeared for the first crucial 3-4 hours of the search and DID NOT PARTICIPATE in any efforts to locate my pet because my parents yelled at you to leave by the time you had the nerve to show up hours later. How you can BLATANTLY LIE about the experience more than two years later is beyond infuriating. Don't worry- I have made sure to tell everyone I know to this day about the experience and now I have your lies to add to the story!

We have been taking our dog to Biscuits Ecoden Dog Daycare since he was about 7 months old. He…read moreloves it there and is always tuckered out when he gets home. He even comes home with a report card that gives us some insight into how he spent his day (what he learned and who his favourite buddies are). We really like that this is a smaller daycare and our dog doesn't come home all smelly like he does when we have taken him to larger ones. The staff is super friendly, as well. They randomly post videos and photos of the dogs on their Facebook page. We like this because we can see how much fun our dog has there. We have also used Biscuits boarding services. It was really nice to leave our dog with a pack and person that he already knew.

I initially started taking my dog Obi-Wags Kenobi to the Woofer Walker daycare for some…read moresocialization since he is an "only dog." He is anxious, and there were times he did not play appropriately with smaller dogs (he had too much energy, and he does not always recognize/respond to the other dog's body language of "please give me space." They gave me great feedback on how he was doing, but his trainer and I decided that daycare for my anxious dog would not let him be "his best self." I then transitioned him to their Woofer Walker Munchkin March pack walks, which is a much better fit for him. He gets to socialize with the other dogs in the pack walk, run himself silly, and sniff everything (animate and inanimate). Obi would walk over my dead body to get to Woofer Walker Judy! He is so excited when it is Woofer Walker day that he waits by the front door, staring at it until he hears the van pull up, and then loses his mind. Judy is very patient with his excitement. They let me know which days would be the best fit for him regarding the other dogs' personalities and play styles, so he goes every Tuesday and Thursday. They also post videos of some of the highlights of the walks and post pictures - it is the highlight of our evening to watch the videos! As I met more people, I had several people tell me about Woofer Walkers and decided to try them. My dog is always excited to go to daycare when we arrive. He loves so many of the staff and I always feel like Ali'i is in good hands. There were a couple of times when I had emergencies come up and the crew was always ready to receive Ali'i... they are always patient and understanding when things come up. One of the best places I STILL take Ali'i when I have to go away for the week or even just a day in daycare. Thanks to Bella, Justin, and crew for keeping our pups safe!

If I have to go away for a few days, I can't leave my dog with just anyone. While Sally is a…read moresweetheart inside the house, she's always looking for trouble outside, and can be especially reactive with other dogs. I need to know that the person who cares for my dog can handle my lil firecracker and prevent trouble from happening. My good friend who lives across the street is such a person, but more than a couple of days of dogsitting is kind of an imposition for a friend. I definitely did not want to send my large, energetic dog to a kennel (aka doggy jail). Bronte Pet Services to the rescue! I found them through a link on the website of the also-awesome Dizine Canine training centre. These wonderful people, April and Lauren and their team of petsitters, specialize in and even enjoy working with challenging dogs. They are also involved with HugABull rescue and are well-trained and experienced in reactive dog handling. We exchanged a few emails, and a couple of days before the trip, April, who would be sitting for us (the sitter she initially matched us with had to cancel) and another Lauren, who would providing some relief, came over for a home visit and to get the keys and contracts, etc. Sally loved them right away (cookies!), and when we left for the trip, we felt assured she - and the house - was in good hands. Knowing my dog, I had some lingering worries, but the first progress report email dispelled them completely. Throughout the trip, April sent us emails and pictures regularly to update us on how things were going. They would generally stay overnight and give her morning and evening walks and feeding. I'm also super happy with all extras April brought to the arrangement. She brought over her own doggy puzzle toys for Sally to solve to get her dinner - and who doesn't like to be told their dog is smart enough to solve the hardest ones with ease? She also introduced us to using a body halter, rather than the head halter I had been using, and even lent me one to try out after we got back. And she definitely wore my dog out with lots of interesting walks and "urban agility" exercises in the park nearby. They take care of all kinds of pets, but I love that they love taking care of even the more challenging (difficult, smart, energetic) animals. And I love that, since finding Bronte Pet Services, I feel like maybe I can now take a vacation once in a while!

They post tons of photos on instagram and facebook throughout the day so you can see what your pup is up to. And they're always super responsive via text and email. When we moved away this past summer, we were especially sad that Charlie wouldn't get to go to pipsqueak. They threw him a little party with bowties, his signature look! Also re: the 1 star review below, we never had to drop off Charlie at 7:30am.
