I was starting to question my own judgement in terms of expectations - was I asking too much of a potential service provider to answer specific questions regarding the services they provide? UHH NO! Because A Walk In The Park had no problem answering them, plus some. I received an email back from Julie within 24 hours, and it was very well detailed and made me feel so much better about everything. And no, it's NOT typical for a dog walking co to refuse questions related to the business they run. I've been in touch with a few other people & walkers, and the first one was the ONLY one that freaked out. Just goes to show, if you get a bad feeling from one, move on to another.

Unfortunately, soon upon his return home his personality and character told another story. He went from being a dog that would sleep all night on his own, and being able to stay home during the day to a dog that would go into panic mode when ever he was alone. He was no longer able to be alone for longer than 15 minutes without panicking. It was quite sad to see. It has been over a year now since he was at Northwest and we are still working on getting him back to his normal self. He has gotten better and can manage being home alone for a couple hours but even then that can be pushing it some days. It is always sad coming home and seeing him at the door panting uncontrollably and drooling profusely. I just want my little pooch to be back to his happy go lucky self. For a while his vet recommended he be put on medication that would easy the anxiety so we did that for a few months and then we weaned him off and just continued to work on leaving him at home longer and longer in hope that it works. He now also goes to daycare any time that someone can't be with him during the day. He used to go to daycare 2 times a week just so he could play and socialize but now it is a must for him to go so he isn't home alone. It has been a long year. I wish my pooch could speak for himself and tell us what happened but he can't so with his response to being at Northwest he won't ever be going back.

Reasonably priced, excellent staff, good food or bring your own. I have trusted her with several daycare 11-4 p.m. Just to see her getting used to the other dogs, kennel and owners. She's highly sensitive husky mix. It took a few visits. We got to a weekend, a week and one ten day stay. When the last thing you want to worry about on vacation, on a tight budget, is your dogs well-being ... I trust Nopawblems. She's is a little highly stimulated each time. She prefers home. But she's not upset or frightened. I am secure with my choice. If anything comes up she is in the best hands.

I took one of my young dogs to a session with Joyce for help with his aggressive behaviour. I had sought help previously from a series of recommended trainers and vets. In one session,Joyce provided me more help than all the others combined. One of my very old ( 16+) dogs refused to eat one day. Realizing that this was not normal for him, and knowing his age, and after trying unsuccessfully to reach me, they took him into their home and sat with him. He passed away peacefully in a few hours, in the company of loving humans. After speaking to me, they took him to a local vet and had him cremated and gave me the ashes. It was a hard sad time, and I cannot imagine a better way to end a long life. This is absolutely the best place for a dog to be. The only drawback is that they are so good- and it is not easy to get a space.

The staff were absolutely amazing in answering all of my emails/check ins to ensure Bella was okay. They reassured me with videos and photos that she was doing well. My sister went to go pick Bella up since my flight was delayed, and Bella didn't want to leave! Rather than going to my sister (who she knows and sees almost every day), Bella ran back to the Jet Pet staff because she didn't want to leave! I'm so grateful and appreciative for everyone that works here for the efforts they all made to ensure Bella was comfortable during her stay! She can't wait to go back!!!
