Came in last night, there was a younger male and female working. Male grabs us our order while female is walking around I guess cleaning up, she takes her AirPod out of her ear and sets it down on the table next to where all the toppings are, which are uncovered. Male finishes getting our order and we pay as we hand over our stamp card, he stamps it then throws it at us. Of course it was a kid with the broccoli haircut too, lol. Won't be back

Italian ice with custard is my new guilty pleasure! Im not going to lie, I could NOT understand the combination of mixing custard with the deliciousness of the Italian ice, but once I tried it I will never have it any other way. It elevates it to a whole other level, especially when the custard is as good as mustache Mike's custard! BUT, what's even better than great food (IMO) is GREAT customer service. The employees here are all so nice and so helpful and don't get annoyed if you ask for a sample (or two) They are also great at making suggestions if maybe the flavor you were looking for was not available that particular day. Love this place, will definitely be returning soon.

Delicious and refreshing! It's a little store with just a counter to order, but a few picnic benches outside in the shade! Many flavors to choose from!

I had a hankering for something sweet so decided to check out Mustache Mike's as I've seen it in passing on several occasions. Upon entering, we were greeted by the cashier who was helpful and allowed us to sample a couple flavors, especially with it being our first time. I decided to get the "Mighty sized Miklati" of vanilla custard and their Manic Berry ice ($6.75) which is essentially their version of a medium. I like how the Mighty included two layers of both custard and ice. It was a delicious combination and perfect for a warm day. There is no indoor seating available but there is a side area with outdoor seating where you can enjoy your dessert. Parking was easy to find in the small strip mall as well.

At Mustache Mikes their Italian ice is phenomenal has the same feel as Happy Ice in LA or Joes Italian ice without the long wait time to get your ice cream fix.

Holy Moly! This place is delicious and has an excellent choice of Italian Ice with or without custard. I'm allergic to Ice cream so this place is an amazing alternative. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. My Dessert choice was a 50/50 Split Blue Raspberry and Wild Cherry mixes with custard. Quiet and Calm... Outside seating only but that's OK. I would definitely recommend Mustache Mikes

I received an ad in the mail for buy one, get one free for Mustache Mikes with delicious looking pictures of their Italian ice and miklati so we decided to give it a try. The shop is very small with no seating inside and a few stools out front. I was the only one inside and then a family of five came in and it got cramped fast. The employee was nice and quickly prepared my to-go order. I ordered a miklati with Juicy Rancher Italian ice (watermelon, lemon, and sour apple blend) and chocolate custard. The chocolate custard was very creamy and tasted absolutely delicious. The sour apple ice was just like a sour apple jolly rancher with a good mix of sweet and sour. The watermelon ice was good if you get a spoon of it with no other flavors and would probably be great on its own. The lemon flavor I didn't really get much of and the lemon and watermelon kind of washed each other out. The sour apple was definitely the star in this blend. She had a manic mango Italian ice which I also tasted. I got a little mango taste but it had more of a citrus orange flavor and it had a little creaminess. Overall, the chocolate custard was excellent and the Italian ice flavors we tried were ok. I would return again to try some other flavors.

Found this place on Yelp and SO glad we did!!! We ordered the Bubble Candy (cotton candy) it's not too sweet. We also got Da Bomb (reminds me of one of those bomb popsicles). Da Bomb was bit more sweeter. The texture is very smooth and not gritty. Imagine a thicker Slurpee from 7-eleven. They also have custard that you can add to the Italian ice. They have vanilla, chocolate or swirl. It's super refreshing and a huge hit with the kids. We will definitely be returning to try the different flavors. I would highly recommend this place!!!

Ending our Sunday evening with a sweet treat from Mustache Mike's. Was highly impressed with the huge selection of the menu. Sampled some delicious options and settled on the Bada Bing Cherry with Vanilla Custard. My girlfriend got the Manic Berry w/ Vanilla Custard. Both were highly delicious! The staff were friendly. This place is GREAT! The customer service alone was enough for me. But when I actually tried the Italian ice I was like....what?!?! It is soooo good!! Super flavorful and not heavy. If you want more richness you can get the cream added but next time I think I am going to go without the cream. My daughter got the bubble gum flavor one and I went with whatever the guy recommended. This will definitely be a go to place for us now! read more

AMAZING and kindest service from Chad. Flavors are so bold and not watered down at all. My favorite was the aloha surfer - it felt like Hawaii! It was tricky finding the place because some of the addresses take you to a random location. Used to come here a few years ago would always love it but now the place has died down and the customer service is terrible I asked the girl who was working there today for vanilla but she gave me swirl not only that but she charged me double! I had to correct her about it and she fixed it but it was very unprofessional employees look like they're in a rush to get u out and don't care about the service at all read more

Went for first time last week when I noticed while getting gas at station on corner. I wasnt expecting much..BUT wow it was amazing and honestly waay better than Joes near Disneyland. Today stopped by again, young girl suggested her favorite and it was unbelieveably over the top fantastic. Think it was Bosenberry lemon and a vanilla custaerd on top. This shit is Joes Italian Ice ON STEROIDS!!! I highly recommend This place is just a little hidden. LOOK for it, it will be worth it!! 10stars for sure fahgedaboudit ! read more

Small little spot off the beaten path, nice staff, but crowded if there are more than 3/4ppl inside, it make you very uncomfortable with people pressing you to just make a quick choice. Honestly at least for me, I prefer Rita's and Joe's, Mike's seemed to be a little limited in options and was a very rushed experience due to the small confines. I wish this place luck. read more

Loved the shaved ice here! Glad there are still a few dessert spots around. We actually went for the custard but they were out of the chocolate one when we stopped by, so I got the cherry and mango ices and my husband got their "da bomb" menu item ice. Both were really tasty! I'd really like to get the custard next time, so I'm hoping they'll actually have some to try, but I'll update this review if that experience changes the high rating--I'm sure the custard will also be delightful. Definitely recommend. read more

this place was so good, i came back twice in one week! the juicy rancher with custard is my fave! the mini size was perfect for me, it was cheap, and the custard to ice ratio was perfect! definitely think this place is better than joe's especially because the lines are not long here! customer service was subpar, it feels like there's no ac inside or no type of air flow so i would say the employee i encountered both times seemed very tired towards the end of my transactions. she was very nice but i can tell she seemed exhausted from the heat, she kept mentioning how hot it was :( i hope the problem gets fixed and you make sure your team doesn't have to suffer in this heat! it did seem very hot and hard the breathe being in-store! read more

Omg we need more of this. Like there really isn't many places like this and this is the first time I've ever tried Italian ice and it's so refreshing! The custard with it is so good and gives it something not as sweet to fall back on since the Italian ice is so sweet. The big daddy, root beer float and aloha surfer were all really good however aloha surfer was definitely my favorite! I can't wait to come back and try some other flavors like jolly rancher. 100% recommend this trendy little spot and hope more people give it a try :) read more

Nice spot for a cool treat. Italian ice and frozen custard are top notch and the special seasonal flavors are really interesting to the palate. Had the Chamango special last week and liked it, and today I had the Cinco De Mayo special (Pineapple/jalapeño ice with fruit salsa and vanilla custard) which was really good and different. I foresee many trips here when the weather gets warm. read more

First time trying out Italian Ice Cream and I love it. Came here with my 7 year old daughter and she enjoyed trying out several flavors. The costumer service was was great and friendly. Living in SoCal you are obviously exposed to a ton of great food, bad food, and OK food. If you want something cold on a hot day and this is close to you, definitely worth it. It was OK. They have cute names and the customer service is excellent. Enjoy. read more

The atmosphere felt very family-friendly, and despite how busy it was, the experience was still smooth. Parking is free, there's a small lot directly in front, but if that fills up, there's additional parking in the connected plaza, which makes it easy. I didn't get to try the cake but brother-in-law and sister said the cake was delicious. If you're in the Fullerton area and looking for a cute dessert spot with lots of options, this is definitely worth checking out!

Staff was very quick to help and take my order despite the line getting longer. I went with a six pack: Lemon Blueberry, Cowboy (chocolate chip, walnuts, oatmeal raisin), Royal Hawaiian (chocolate chip, coconut flakes, macadamia nuts), M&M, Oatmeal Raisin, and White Chocolate Macadamia Nut cookies. I also ordered a scoop of their vanilla ice cream, which was creamy and perfectly balanced in both texture and flavor. I really enjoyed all of the cookies, but if I had to choose my top two, it'll be the Cowboy and Royal Hawaiian. I can't wait to come back for another box of cookies and pick up a bottle of milk, too!

The lines can get long but it seems they're well aware of the demand and staff accordingly so it moves super quick (I was 9th in line and it took maybe... 5-10 minutes?) So many flavors to choose from it can be overwhelming but let me just tell you... Ohhh Dough is where it's at. And if you like coffee ice cream, the coffee chocolate chip is so good too. Both flavors were sweet but not too sweet. And portions are amazing. There is no indoor seating with just some benches in front. I am a former friend of the family and worked for Mike Elder of Mustache Mike's Italian Ice on and off for several years. He is by far THE most dishonest person I've ever met. He runs his business illegally and unethically. He refused to hire me as an employee and wouldn't agree to an independent contractor's arrangement so I could make a living and pay my taxes. He was then audited in 2015 and w/o my knowledge, submitted a 1099 (self-employed contractor) on my behalf. I am now in debt to the IRS for $5000. The family motto, verbatim..."do what we want, apologize later if necessary". The irony there is...he'll never apologize, he never admits when he's wrong and coincidentally...he's never done anything right. If he lied to me, then he'll lie to you. A great indicator of what someone will do in the future...is what they've done in their past. And Mike's past is full of lies. During the time that I worked for him, I've never felt so disrespected in my entire life. He once left on XMAS vacation w/o paying me, when I called him, he replied with, "there's $100 in 1 dollar bills at the shop". Mike has no shame, no humility. I was working for him when an employee almost lost his finger due to Mike's machinery, which was unsafe and not in compliance with OSHA machine guarding requirements. Many close to me warned me that he'd get audited for his poor business practices and when the IRS comes across my name, he's gonna say I don't know him, he's on his own and that's exactly what happened. I didn't listen because I trusted Mike. In reality, he commits tax fraud on a daily basis. Aside from lying about my employment status he would do things such as hiding a machine on an inspection in order to not have to pay the tax on that piece of equipment. Beware if he says "I'm just trying to help you out", because what that really means is he's try to help himself out.
