I committed to one lesson a week for a year and it was amazing. There's only so much I know with only musical exposure for a year but what I can tell you regarding my singing is that I have more fun, I am more confident, and dare I say I may even sound quite a bit better. Gabi helped me discover what my vocal strengths are, helped with my weaknesses, and taught me all kinds of techniques to use when singing. (I still don't know what half of them are called but she was great at putting it in terms for me to understand) I'm just an average person who likes to jam to Disney musicals in my car. She really connects with her students which allowed her to help me explore other music that I may enjoy, and it definitely worked. It was an expensive commitment, sure, but that initial fit gave me the confidence to commit and somehow I feel I got more out of than I was expecting. We ended up setting up a day for me to drop off my guitar. That day I met Kriss and he was very professional. We chatted a bit about the guitar, and music. Super cool dude. That same day he texted to let me know he didn't have a small part and had to order it. But that he also might have an extra. He just wanted to inform me that there may be a delay of 1-2 days. I honestly didn't expect to have it back soon anyways. He communicated with me through the whole processes. This was nice. I mean.. he had my baby (guitar) so that was appreciated. A few days later the guitar was ready. I met with Kriss again and he showed me the work. Man.. the guitar looked gorgeous. We chatted a bit and then I was off. My main concern was the feedback/hum. Plugged it in and nothing. It was a crisp clear sound. Sounded amazing! The setup was great as well. I was happy with the service. It was a few months ago so I can't recall the exact price but it was definitely under $100. Great value for what I received. I have a few other guitars and basses I'll be taking to Kriss.
