My new acoustic

I'm an OK musician but these people are the just THEE best in the business and know far more than me! Jimmy gives the best guitar and bass lessons. Karl, Dennis, and Samuel have helped me with my guitar, bass, and violin as well as with my board and speakers. I will continue to come here for all of my musical needs. They are the best around. Not only knowledgeable but trustworthy. Run, don't walk here.

Easy process to rent an instrument. Not too pricey either. Didn't love that it had to be ordered but it worked out just fine.

My name is Mary-Michelle Worthy on YT, sometimes I have issues with males in music, (people sometimes think I'm famous, jokes on them). Rollie was the perfect person for me to run into. Next level on his customer service and professionalism, this guy really knows his stuff and works his tail off. Thank you Guitar Center, y'all are a favorite of mine now at this location. Major shout out to Rollie for being a professional, a boss, and a total gentleman in his craft. Come to this location, Fair Lady Slim Shady highly recommends. !

My boyfriend and I were walking around in aisle looking for the cajon bag many times. No one came to assist us. We try to flag the staff down in front by waving our hands and the group of staff ignored our needs as they were testing out a new guitar joking around. I literally had to call at them and one of them look like they are tired of their job. The girl with a black ponytail asked, what do you want looking pissed off because she had to break away from her group. The attitude is no good from her. She said go inside the cajon room and it will be there, immediately went back talking with the group. The fact that I had to wave and call at them loudly to get their attention is such a big disgrace. I never have to do that before at any Guitar Center I've been to in Montebello or Riverside. All I really want is for the staff to help me when my boyfriend is trying to purchase something for his instrument. After my boyfriend purchase the item, the girl cashier who has straight blonde hair went straight to talking to her coworkers. I mean, come on I had to call her out where is my receipt? Her face is so mad at me just because I asked for my receipt. What if the bag is broken or my boyfriend do not like it? Like what people say if you don't do your job properly, you will do it twice. The overall customer service experience at this location is relatively bad. The company needs to learn how to train their employees on how to become active at customer service. I understand how there are slow days but become considerate toward customers. We are the one who put sales into your business so it is running smoother.

(Musical Theater 1, Musical Theater 2, tap 1, tap/ballet , jazz and HipHop)He went from a boy with anxiety to this confident performer. He was in his second musical Mary Poppins this past weekend. To see him perform with the biggest smile made me cry. He was confident and was so excited about the show. The show was AMAZING!!!!!!!!It's been great watching not just my son but many of the cast members just grow in theater. Thank You Mr.Frank and Mrs.Yesenia for bringing out the best in my son. He himself thanked them after the show for teaching him the songs and the choreography. All his teachers are all wonderful , Mrs.Megan , Miss. Larissa, Miss. Jenna, Miss. Jack , thank you ALL for not giving up on my son. A special shout out to Miss. Jack. Andrew wanted to try tap. Since the class has been practicing for a few months Andrew felt discouraged since they were already learning the song that they will be performing on the summer showcase. After trying the class he didn't want to continue since he was just starting and felt lost. Miss Jack told him she sees his talent and he can do it. She told him to come back the next week and try again. He tried again and he felt that he couldn't do it. Miss.Jack told him to think about it , she believes in him, if he still don't feel comfortable he can enroll after the summer showcase and start from the beginning. She was very sweet to him. On our way home he decided he wanted to continue!!! His words " mom , Miss.Jack believes in me. I want to take her class , I can do it " He's doing amazing. She knew how much he did want to take her class and encouraged him. I can't wait to see him on stage in June for the summer showcase. I also want to give a shout out to the parent volunteers. They're very helpful, it was so nice to hear from them how Andrew has grown so much in theater. Another shout out to Kyle , the front receptionist for being helpful and answering my million questions haha. Us parents don't just cheer for our kids we cheer for all the kids. I am thankful I found Valverde. They have help mold my son in this confident , happy , positive young performer. Can't wait to see him continue growing in theater !! If you are considering this studio , give them a call. Your child can try a class for free. Everyone there is wonderful!

It's really ideal to study with a teacher who has their finger on the pulse of the industry, and Alma does. She is also an incredible composer. You'll get a quality musical education with her.

We signed up for singing lessons with Dr. Batista's studio. Right off the bat, we noticed that Dr…read more Batista herself was the one replying to our questions which at first, we thought was pretty awesome since you're speaking directly to the owner. After speaking to her more on the phone and via text, we noticed that she came off a little rude, but hey we chalked it up to just being new to us and gave her the benefit of the doubt. Fast forward, lessons have started and her teacher (Karina) was a blast to work with. We did find it rather interesting that towards the end of the lesson, Batista would always barge in the room to bark at Karina that time was almost up. Again, maybe it was a fluke we thought. Time and time again, we had these rude occurences with Batista. After about two months of lessons, we let Batista and Karina know that we'd be leaving for vacation for a week and that we would not be doing the lesson that week. We returned to an irate Batista demanding payment for the next month's lesson and that we would have to incur a late fee in addition to missing a class. It was almost as if she never knew we were gone after we clearly had told her. What's worse is that Batista said that we had not returned her emails...well, of course, we didn't, we were on vacation! Plus we thought we had left everything in order prior to leaving. After returning from our trip, we had just had it with Batista's lack of respect, and simply lack of tact when speaking with her clients, so we canceled our lessons with her studio. We gave her honest feedback and let her know that the teachers that she employs our GREAT, but unfortunately the customer service is TERRIBLE. We suggested that she get help with the "front desk" and let someone else talk to the customers because it's clear that wasn't one of her strong points. Anyhow, there's plenty of music schools out there where you can go.... we all deal with enough rude people in this world and the last thing we need is to deal with one more around something that's supposed to be a pleasurable hobby/education. I feel bad for Karina and the others working there. They deserve a much better business owner! Unfortunately, Batista lets her pride get in the way of what her business is capable of. She's educated and will let you know it. (Don't believe me? It's the first thing she mentions in her Yelp business bio... ). Being educated doesn't mean you have the right to be rude to your customers. If you're considering this place for your child/significant other/friend, spare the abuse and look elsewhere!
