Very sad to give a one star, but when running a business you have to respond to customers in a timely manner. Maybe within 48 hours? Not 2 weeks later especially after giving credit card info and paper work. It just seems like you don't need or want my business. read more

Fraudster. our experience has been appalling, we were customers for several years but after the teacher started showing up late repeatedly or missing scheduled lessons we canceled but Sarah kept over $600. read more

We discovered this local business over 5 years ago. Our son had a keyboard elective class in middle school that he ended up loving. He turned out to have a talent and interest which was perfect timing to start lessons. His instructor for the past 5 years has been Jesus, who was a wonderful match for our son. Jesus is talented, professional, flexible, and was able to meet our son where he was at in terms of his unique learning style. The periodic recitals were well organized and communication with both Jesus and Sara has been easy. Definitely recommend! read more

Not surprised that Sara's music lessons has 5 stars! Sara is such a hard worker, great communicator and so attentive with my three kids. She holds recitals with fun prizes to get the kids excited and I'm so proud of them for what they've learned from her! I recommend her over bigger companies because she has 20+ years of experience, is so personable and worth the price! read more

We had a series of of uncommitted, amateur piano teachers from Sara's Music Lessons and didn't realize she was hiring almost entirely college kids until we had tried 7 of them over a few years. After a lot of trial and error we realized what was happening and that we needed a professional. We did love one particular teacher with Sara's, and she was the reason we stayed for so long. Unfortunately, she was also a college student who left the state when she graduated. After that, we tried many other instructors with Sara's while trying to find the right fit again. They were all students except for one. Some of the teachers cancelled often, one introduced songs with inappropriate lyrics for children, and all of them had conflicting priorities. We finally realized that working with a "middleman-style"company was a fundamental flaw with the business and we were not going to find the right match. In our experience, the owner, Sara, doesn't respond quickly to issues. She seems frazzled and rushed. After leaving, we found a professional music teacher who's sole business is piano and voice lessons, which she teaches herself. Within two classes she quickly realized that my children had gaps in their learning that had not been identified by the series of Sara's teachers who we had been working with. She's focused on student progress rather than school/home life. My children are both progressing rapidly now and recently completed their recitals with success. read more

My daughter has been going to Sara for a few years now and she will be with her for many more. It's very rewarding to watch my daughter master the piano more and more as she grows. She started at a young age and Sara has helped her mature in her music skills. Very professional and very reasonable with pricing for the standard she has with music. read more

I would give this place a million stars if I could. My daughter has had Jessica for about a year and a half. She can read, write and play music and shes 5 years old. We will be starting violin lessons as well with Sara. I couldn't say enough great things about my experience here. Thank you all so much for getting my child to love, appreciate, learn and enjoy music. read more

This business is totally untrustworthy. They asked me to submit credit card number for automatic payments. But now even after my session has ended for over 4 months they continue billing me every month and I have to call them every month to refund me the amount. I am at the verge of filing a harassment case against them. Totally fraudulent way of doing business. And what's even worse, every time I have call them I only get a voicemail. They refund the amount after 15-20 days and only way for me to verify is keep checking my credit card bills every day. read more

Hey people - there's a reason that Sara's only has FIVE STAR reviews. Sign your kid (or yo self) up and you'll see what I mean. (I'm a music teacher in RUSD too, so I know what I'm talking about) She strikes the perfect balance of encouragement and challenging the students to do their best. The recitals are also a really nice experience with a party and prizes afterwards so your kids will look forwards to going to them. Sara comes to our house for lessons and she is always exactly on time and flexible with our schedule too. read more

If you don't want to drive to her studio, you can also get lessons right at home because the teachers can drive to you too! There's also an annual recital for the students and lots of goodies and free food to celebrate their achievements. Sara's Music Lessons & MORE! read more

My daughter started her Piano lessons 2 months ago. She is only 3 years old. Yes she is quite small to be playing piano but she loves her piano. That said, her attention span can sometimes be short, but Sara is extremely patient and professional, she has done a great job at teacher her even when my daughter is not completely focused. In the past two months she has learned so much and now enjoys playing the piano and loves doing her piano HW. I rarely write any Yelp reviews but this time it's well deserved. Sara has truly earned all 5 stars. read more

I have been a teacher with Sara's company for 11 years. In all this time, I've been able to get to know her personally and see how she runs her business. Sara, along with the other teachers, truly care about music education. You are not a number here, you are a person who we care for and want to help guide and grow to your fullest potential!! Sara is fair and consistent in her company policies, but also can be very accommodating when something is needed. This is a great company run by a great person! I highly recommend Sara's music lessons to both friends and strangers! read more

Although I can't comment yet on the music lessons themselves just yet, I can comment on the staff and their attention to detail. I asked if they had gift certificates, and Sara hand crafted one for my girlfriend. Beautifully designed, elaborate and fantastically put together. I can't wait until i see the reaction on her face when she gets this certificate. I'll update the review once she gets through the first few lessons with get opinions. Price is very reasonable compared to others I checked out. I'm willing to pay for many months to come with the rates they have. read more

My daughter took violin lessons through Sara's Music School. She loved her lessons so much. Unfortunately we moved away and haven't been able to find anything close to the quality of these. We had two different instructors who were engaging and motivating. Our daughter practiced every day on her own. The recitals were so enjoyable and showed off some great talent. Highly recommend. read more

We wanted our children to learn the piano and it was an added plus that the lessons were taught in your home. We selected Sara's company without any referrals or checking previous reviews. We selected well! Awesome company. Awesome teacher. You cannot go wrong with this business. read more

My wife really wanted me to learn to play the guitar and heard about these guys from some place she takes our kids to play. I found them to be very flexible with scheduling and payment arrangements and very customer service oriented. My teacher John is great and focuses on what I want to learn. I really just wanted to learn the basics and not get too technical, and he's been great. He doesn't try to push any idealistic agenda and just teaches me what I want to learn. read more

My family and I highly recommend this business for music lessons. Miss Sara taught our daughter how to play the piano for many years. She is very knowledgeable and was always encouraging. She holds recitals where the students can showcase their progress to friends & family and it was always a good time. We loved her passion for teaching as well as the example she set for our daughter. She is all around amazing. read more

My daughter has been taking piano lessons from Sara for about 8 years now. She was very young when she started lessons and Sara has been a great teacher at every stage of my daughter's playing. Being a completely non-musical family, we could not have found a better teacher. I completely concur with Petri's review. Another benefit of taking lessons with Sara is that my daughter passed the California Teacher's Music Association Certificate of Merit level 6 for piano and she will be going for level 8 next time around. She was able to do this only because of the support and guidance that Sara gave her. Lessons through Sara's Music Lesson's are reasonable and very, very convenient. So if you've been thinking about music lessons for your child or yourself, you must give Sara's a try. read more

My daughter has been taking violin lessons through Sara's Music Lessons for 6 months now. She is 5 years old, so I wanted to make sure she had a patient and kid friendly teacher. We have been very happy with the teacher that comes to us. I absolutely love that the lesson comes to me. With 6 kids I spend a lot of time trying to get from one place to another. Having the lesson at home saves me at least a couple hours of time. The teacher is kind, and I am happy with my daughter's progress on the violin.
