We discovered this local business over 5 years ago. Our son had a keyboard elective class in middle school that he ended up loving. He turned out to have a talent and interest which was perfect timing to start lessons. His instructor for the past 5 years has been Jesus, who was a wonderful match for our son. Jesus is talented, professional, flexible, and was able to meet our son where he was at in terms of his unique learning style. We had a series of of uncommitted, amateur piano teachers from Sara's Music Lessons and didn't realize she was hiring almost entirely college kids until we had tried 7 of them over a few years. After a lot of trial and error we realized what was happening and that we needed a professional. We did love one particular teacher with Sara's, and she was the reason we stayed for so long. Unfortunately, she was also a college student who left the state when she graduated. After that, we tried many other instructors with Sara's while trying to find the right fit again. They were all students except for one. Some of the teachers cancelled often, one introduced songs with inappropriate lyrics for children, and all of them had conflicting priorities. We finally realized that working with a "middleman-style"company was a fundamental flaw with the business and we were not going to find the right match. In our experience, the owner, Sara, doesn't respond quickly to issues. She seems frazzled and rushed. After leaving, we found a professional music teacher who's sole business is piano and voice lessons, which she teaches herself. Within two classes she quickly realized that my children had gaps in their learning that had not been identified by the series of Sara's teachers who we had been working with. She's focused on student progress rather than school/home life. My children are both progressing rapidly now and recently completed their recitals with success. read more

I would give this place a million stars if I could. My daughter has had Jessica for about a year and a half. She can read, write and play music and shes 5 years old. We will be starting violin lessons as well with Sara. I couldn't say enough great things about my experience here. This business is totally untrustworthy. They asked me to submit credit card number for automatic payments. But now even after my session has ended for over 4 months they continue billing me every month and I have to call them every month to refund me the amount. I am at the verge of filing a harassment case against them. Totally fraudulent way of doing business. And what's even worse, every time I have call them I only get a voicemail. They refund the amount after 15-20 days and only way for me to verify is keep checking my credit card bills every day. read more

My daughter started her Piano lessons 2 months ago. She is only 3 years old. Yes she is quite small to be playing piano but she loves her piano. That said, her attention span can sometimes be short, but Sara is extremely patient and professional, she has done a great job at teacher her even when my daughter is not completely focused. Although I can't comment yet on the music lessons themselves just yet, I can comment on the staff and their attention to detail. I asked if they had gift certificates, and Sara hand crafted one for my girlfriend. Beautifully designed, elaborate and fantastically put together. My wife really wanted me to learn to play the guitar and heard about these guys from some place she takes our kids to play. I found them to be very flexible with scheduling and payment arrangements and very customer service oriented. My teacher John is great and focuses on what I want to learn.
