She was very thorough during my consultation with pre & post care! She reminded me of things I had forgotten in the past! Her speed and efficiency really impressed me. I was very nervous about the pain of the underarms since it was my first session on that area, but Brittney made my experience as quick and comfortable as possible. Hands down, best laser experience so far! Following my laser treatment, I had an amazing Hydrafacial with Crystal! It was so relaxing and OMG MY SKIN LOOKS AMAZING!!! My pores were SO congested... and now my skin is GLOWING and BREATHING!!! She walked me thru a very thorough consultation prior to treatment and talked me through the different serums she was using and why.. I learned a lot and the results don't lie. Warning: Missing Shipment and Frustrating Customer Service…read more I've been a customer of The Medspa Austin since June of last year and have spent a total of $3,834 with them. Up until recently, I never had any issues when receiving my Trezepited shots in person. Nurse Practitioner Ashley Johnson and Dr. Paydon Newman both provided excellent care and really helped me achieve my goals--this review does not reflect on them at all. However, after switching to semiglutide, the first shipment arrived without a problem, but the second one never showed up. The UPS delivery photo was just a black screen, even though I was home all day. I filed a missing package claim with UPS and also contacted The Medspa Austin and the fulfillment company in Dallas. Everyone was polite and tried to help, but ultimately referred me back to The Medspa Austin because they needed to complete a form UPS had provided. Despite my efforts, The Medspa Austin would not replace the missing shipment, citing the "delivered" tracking information, and asked me to pay an additional $200 for a new shipment. I wasn't asking for a discount or a refund--I just wanted the shipment I had already paid for. This has been extremely frustrating, especially given the amount of money I've already spent and my previously positive experiences with their team. Until this missing shipment issue is resolved, I cannot recommend The Medspa Austin. However, I do want to emphasize that my negative experience does not reflect on Ashley Johnson or Dr. Paydon Newman, who both provided wonderful care.

This location is in sunset valley in a shared working space, but the room itself is very private and comfortable. I last saw Britney and she was able to squeeze me in even after a scheduling error on my part. Quick, efficient, and always helpful. The results do truly vary - I've been doing laser hair removal for about 2 years now (at a place before this and now for almost a year at this location). It is not a magic solution after X number of sessions to be totally hairless, it does require continued follow up. However, the results at ALS were apparent right away compared to the last place I was going, so they do have good equipment and technicians! Would recommend considering for your lasering needs.

They never told me I couldn't bring me 5 year old girl after 7 months someone told I pay a baby sitter 100 dollars to watch her . They change appts on me when I made and paid someone to watch her till this day I never even told them that each time. Someone quits the change my appt it costs me but that wasn't. The problem. Their customer service is a lie the truth comes out when things actually how you treat your customers? They said Sarah is no longer with us I said I " m I going to be seeing that mean lady again. They next thing I knew got this long email we terminating your relationship with us. I was like in the middle of my treatments ? I called them no answer nothing . I had questions about my refund which is not the point it's the ethics about what you say and what your business does. It seems like the owner has made enough money and when she is in a bad mood she just takes it out on the clients . Lost an employee lets fire the client because the client has no rights to ask if I am going to be seen by a dirty person who rushed me didn't get the areas covered that I paid for wasn't trained because I knew which areas are covered. It's like you go to eye surgery they take the wrong eye ball out? It's. It's a joke. They are nice and fake but when real situations hit they don't know how to handle it so the easiest thing is fire you and no businesses ethics I am sure they will change the name of the business soon because it's going down hill. They can't keep good employees if you don't treat your employees right just like Walmart you are replaceable well we are not at walmart . This is our face body and we have rights as patients but not here they own they can do what ever they wasn't to . So I would never recommend it. Because I don't like changing jumping bed to bed and my face and body means a lot to me and for them to just act based on emotions and them having a bad day is sickening. I am actually glad now that they fired me because I found a better place.. Just firing over nothing ruins your entire investment because your treatments are stopped without notice and to find an other place all that it's just a bad experience. I had written one before and the owner asked me to take it down but look what happened so it wasn't their first time of blunder. Don't go there they are unpredictable

I am in my late 40's and like most women, I started to experience droopy, unsexy boobs and wanted…read moreto get breast augmentation. After chatting with a few girlfriends about their dr.'s, I did a Google search for the top plastic surgeons/centers in Austin and APSI had a 4.9 rating! I then began to dig through their before/after pics and loved that they did not have that over the top fake look and that they all seemed body proportionate which is exactly what I wanted. While perusing the surgical options, I came across labiaplasty. I had never heard of it, but on RealSelf, the rate was almost 100%. After looking at before/after photos and decided I wanted that surgery as well. I made an appt for a consultation where I met Dr. Justin Booth and his assistant Christine Powell and they answered all of my questions and were patient. I definitely went over the allotted time, but I was never rushed. I have never considered getting breast augmentation and was not aware that surgeons do not go by cup sizes, but CC's. Dr. Booth measured me and gave me the max CC's for my frame and I then tried on the various Sientra silicone aka, gummy bear implants, which helped a lot. While they do not have pics online of labiaplasty, Dr. Booth performs them frequently. Their pricing was better than I expected and I was given a folder full of everything I needed to know about my upcoming surgeries, appt dates, and times, as well as pre & post op instructions. By the time I left, I loved both Dr. Booth and Christine and felt very comfortable with my upcoming surgeries. Prior to my surgeries, I came in to discuss current meds, post op meds, any last minute questions/concerns and etc. The surgery is performed in house at their surgical suite which is located next to the office. As soon as I arrived, everything went as scheduled and the nurses were all awesome. The next day, I received a call from Jenny, Dr. Booth's nurse and was provided her personal cell in the event I was experiencing any adverse pain or reactions. Due to their thorough explanations, I was fully prepared for what to expect and my healing process went accordingly. I am at the 6 week mark and to say I am obsessed with my body is an understatement! I cannot say enough about how grateful I am to Dr. Justin Booth and his entire staff. If I could give them 10 stars, I would!

I visited Texas Laser Academy to have my legs and underarms lasered. The first time I went, I was…read moreunable to receive service due to an issue that could have been spotted by a questionnaire in advance, obviating the need for me to drive there. The same thing happened the second time. The third time, I was given an iPad to fill out a form. I have a disability that makes it very difficult for me to type on an iPad or phone, so I asked for help with the form. The manager complained (in a very confrontational manner) that I did not fill out the form myself. I have never been treated that badly before or since. That manager is the only service person who has ever complained about my need for disability accommodations. When I suggested that all forms be sent to clients before the first visit, so problems could be noted and solved before clients had to drive to the studio, he became quite defensive. He showed no empathy. I have never been treated so badly by any service provider. I find it ironic that a manager at a school that teaches people to perform a service career would be so callous. My advice is that you consider driving up north to Austin's other laser school, where service is impeccable.
