I called told them, told Philip what my dilemma was and he said no problem. They would let me know when a time would be that they could make it out. It was short notice, I just looked down the three flights of stairs and thought oh my goodness what have I done? seem like it was planned out too well for me. It took Justin and Trent 35 minutes to bring my bed up and they even set it up for me. I truly would recommend this company again. They were great to work with!!! Justin and Trent they cleaned up after themselves with all my boxes, took them to the dumpster for me. I felt blessed that they were so kind. This review was originally submitted in April of 2025. It needed to be edited, which is the reason…read morefor the resubmission. Be prepared to be stood up and/or forfeit whatever funds are paid. Other people have had similar experiences with this business. Please see their reviews on Google and Yelp. No shows several times. I am handicapped and they left me stranded without a safe place to sleep for x4 nights. Here's what you can count on from Quality Moving: -repeated no call, no text, and no shows -inability and/or refusal to follow instructions or directions -inability or unwillingness to clean up after themselves -damage to property that you will not be reimbursed for Matt is the owner. Any conversations had with him will be forgotten while the conversation is happening. He will ask the same questions 4-5 times. The next day, it will be as if the conversation never occurred, and he will ask the same questions again, multiple times. Communicating via text won't help. Matt was hired to help with a few simple tasks in my home: assemble a basic office chair, set up an adjustable bed, and help cut up some oversized cardboard boxes so that they would fit into the recycling bin. 2 people were needed to set up the adjustable bed. Got a quote from a different business that was significantly higher than Matt's quote of $100, so Matt was the first choice due to the lower price. Matt said he would call early in the morning to set up an arrival time. He called at roughly 4:15 pm. Claimed he was being considerate, "letting me nap", but this was just a cover for the no call no show. Matt said he would call the next day at noon, and would arrive at whatever time I requested. He called at roughly 3pm and said, "We're coming over right now". Matt previously stated he would arrive with his nephew. Without letting me know, x2 different men were sent to my home who didn't identify themselves. Their identities weren't revealed until about 15 minutes after their arrival. Joshua and his younger helper knocked over a gallon of water next to my bed. The corner of the pitcher broke when it fell. The rug and floor were saturated, in addition to my mattress that they placed on the floor. They claimed they cleaned up the water. About 2 minutes after they left, I noticed that the floors and carpeting were still completely saturated. I called and and asked them to please come back to properly clean up the water. They attempted clean up a 2nd time, and failed. Bed risers were installed incorrectly (see photos), rendering the bed unsafe to sleep on. Padding on top of risers was supposed to be removed pre-installation. This wasn't done because they refused to read the instructions. As a result, I did not have a safe to sleep for 4 days. This is because neither Matt, nor his helpers returned as promised. The excuse Matt gave for the repeated no call, no text, and no shows was a recent breakup with his GF. If you chose to hire these people, they should be supervised at all times, and DO NOT TIP until after you've closely inspected their work. I tipped them $50 without checking their work first, trusting that they had done a good job. In the end, I had to hire a contractor to fix the problems they caused, resulting in a total loss of about $300.

05/15/2021 Update: We used them again! The team of Frank (he was the foreman for our earlier move…read moretoo--see below), Carlos, Freddy, Elijah H., Eli, and Dylan were absolutely amazing. They were extremely careful with both homes, wrapping the door frames with padding and rolling out protective mats so as not to damage the floors while walking back and forth. We had a pretty complicated move in my opinion. We were moving out of my mothers house into our own house, while subsequently moving my mother's furniture which we had put in a storage unit back into her house. Speedy provided 2 trucks, two of the guys came all the way from tri-cities! Truck/Team 1 worked on emptying my storage unit with my stuff from (kitchen, bathrooms, etc from my previous home) and loading it, Truck 2 worked on emptying my moms storage unit of furniture she had removed from her home to make space for my family. Truck 1 went directly to the new house, while Truck 2 went to my mother's house, and unloaded her furniture and put it where she asked, and then loaded all our stuff and furniture. We had my mom's big (not kid proof) couches moving out of the truck back into my moms house, and my (kid proof) couches being moved into the truck as well as my husbands office, my sewing studio, kids play room, and kids bedroom. (My moms house is big and yeah it held all that stuff!) Then they took Truck 2 over to our new house as Truck 1 was being finished and Truck 1 team then began helping Truck 2 team unload the rest. It was a LOT of work for them. They were exhausted but they all had amazing attitudes and were very careful with our stuff even at the end when they were covered in sweat and it had started to get hot outside. I am one of those people that has a hard time not working and lifting when I see others doing it and they kept telling me to take it easy. I appreciated all their hard work and if we have to move again (which we may) I will hire them a third time! :) 9/8/2020: This was a great team of movers lead by Frank for a very reasonable price. They were all young, energetic, and professional. We had two move locations, storage and our new home. I was coming from California so it was unloading a SEMI truck (independent interstate trucker hired by Magellan), that unfortunately did not have a ramp or a lift gate. I did not realize the truck had none of these things, so the guys had to physically lift everything out of the truck itself instead of use dollys. It was exhausting work, but they did it with a great attitude. They lifted my husbands big MOTORCYCLE out of the back of this truck. A motorcycle. I don't know what other movers would have done that!!!! Anybody else would have gone to get a ramp and charged me hourly for it. Not them, they together lifted the motorcycle out of the truck and set it down. It was amazing. I highly recommend them and will use them for every move!
