Not all the personal trainers at this gym are listed on the website (I have met the owner, he's a…read moretrainer here as well. He's a good guy but come on man, get that done. You're missing the best one) I know people are going to start searching for personal trainers around me. It's that time of year, New Year's Resolutions. I want them to know Travis is the best trainer here. Of course, I'm biased but what the hell it's my review.

· First little about me, I'm your normal fat guy, living in Colorado. A state filled with fit people and that's all about fun outdoors activities. Those activities are even more fun if you're one of the fit people. I'm a firm believer in fat guys can't go to the gym because their always made to feel awkward, the fits kind of stare, few eye rolls that they think you didn't see, you don't know exactly what to do or how to do it correctly and so on...
· But what has been a very good experience is working out with Travis. I've been working out with him 3x a week for going on 4 months. When I started, I was 286lbs (told you, fat guy) and now I'm 255, total weight loss of 31lbs .... so far. I had a goal of losing 50lbs by the end of May. But I think he's right, I could loss more than my 50lbs by the end of May. To my genuine surprise, I actually find myself looking forward to our workouts. Not only do I feel good afterwards but I'm feeling better month after month.
A little about him, what makes him the best...
· He's very accommodating and can work with anyone's availability. Even the Rise and Shine, 6am morning people. I'm a General Manager of a Sports Bar and my schedule is never the same week to week. Any given week, I work 50-60 hours, but he still finds times that works for both of us every week. Unfortunately, from time to time my schedule changes with no notice (someone on my team calls out sick or something). He's always been understanding and reschedules the workout. He understands that life happens, got called into work, have to stay late, you're sick, kids sick, you got drunk last night and woke up in Mexico. Things happen and he's always been understanding.
· He knows what he's doing. You can tell he has Personal Training Certificates. He's not one of these old school types that just say lift weight put down weight, lift weight put down weight. He's big on form, technique, making sure you do the exercises the right and safe way. Making sure you get the most out of every exercise. He's going to continue to push you. But he never pushes you pass your breaking point. There's a method behind the madness. I didn't realize it at first. Some of the exercises seemed easy. But what I didn't realize was we were just getting the form down, getting comfortable with the technique. Before he adds weights and things get significantly more difficult. You work out the whole time, just like he makes sure you get the most out of each exercise. He makes sure you get the most out of each hour your together.
· He's reasonably priced!
· He keeps the work outs fun, mixes it, it's never the same thing over and over again. There have been plenty of time our hour was up, and it seemed like only minutes had passed. Because he mixed it up and keep it fun.
· He never judges, never! I've never, not once got the impression he was judging. He's nothing but supportive. There have been moments where he can tell I'm irritated with myself for whatever reason, and he immediately just say something supportive. So that I wouldn't get down on myself. Sometimes, after a hard workout (leg day, ha) he will follow up, see how you're doing.
· He's just a genuine good guy. (Even if he is one of the fits). Very easy to talk to. Easy to get along with.
· If you have any kind of injuries, he can help. Don't let that discourage you. I personally have a bad ankle. We do a few ankle strengthening exercises to start with each time. And to my great surprise, my ankle is the best it's been in years. Like I said there's a method to the madness. Even the hopping around on one foot (inside joke).
· The gym itself is clean, constantly being disinfected. It's never packed, just the other trainers and their clients. It's in great condition, has showers if needed. Easy downtown location with EASY AND FREE PARKING. Everyone there is fully vaccinated. So, you don't have to wear a mask while working out.
In short Travis is a great trainer. A total professional. I know this review been about me and weight loss. But he has clinics that are there for all different reasons. He's not just a weight loss Personal Trainer. I'd give him my full recommendation. Hit him up anytime rockymtn.patt@gmail.com
