The girl working was so helpful. Shave ice was good and they have a bunch of flavors and options to choose from. it's on a main street so we parked right in front on the shop but it could easily be missed when driving by quickly.

If it's a warm day, or even a cool day, you need to get a shaved ice treat from Murray's. There are countless flavors to choose from including sugar-free to flavor-up your choice. This is not a snow cone, but shaved ice which is a different texture of smooth ice like cotton candy. The ladies are very friendly and helpful and take your order and put together your frozen treat with care. There are picnic style tables and seating to make yourself comfortable while you enjoy your frozen concoction. The place can get busy, so be patient in your wait and you won't be sorry.

This is probably the best shaved ice I've experienced in St. Louis. The ice is so fine (not pebbly) that it just melts on tongue contact. The mediums are giant, the smalls are giant- I can't imagine ordering anything larger (talk about sugar rush)! They are always served with a giant ball on top. You can ask for a lid, but then you are just missing out on another 3 inches of ice. Special flavors are extra flavors cost another quarter, but 2 flavors is always better than one. I've posted a menu from 2019 so you can see current prices and flavors. Parking on the street is available in front of the stand. However, I've parked in the service station next door (they are usually closed when the Shaved Ice stand is open).

Good Bye Ted, Hello Murray. Murray can satisfy my sweet craving with much fewer calories and fat. I've lived in the Lindenwood Park area for over 8 years and have never gone to Murray's Shaved Ice. I had no idea what I was missing. This is a great little mom & pop shaved ice shack. A perfect complement to our neighborhood. They offer a huge selection of flavors and I was pleased to see my two favorites were among them. I am very partial to wedding cake and dream-sickle. Six sizes are available from Kiddie all the way up to Murray's Monster. Prices are great too. The Kiddie is only $1.75 and the Monster is $4. Tax is included, making it so much easier for those out walking. Tonight I ordered a small Wedding Cake and it was just perfect. Totally refreshing treat for the walk home and to finish on the patio. A big bonus point or extra star for Murray's is that they offer Doggie SnoCones. They rotate the flavor between beef and chicken. That is so cool, my dogs love ice cubes as a treat and in their drinking bowl. Can't wait to see how they will react to chicken of beef flavored ice.

LOVE the new location! This collaboration is one of my favorites! The beautiful flowers from Spring Time Nursery & the adorable added patio with seating make this new location very peaceful!

Big servings and lots of flavors to choose from. They don't have spearmint any more so I was bummed but I'll go back

They put way to much syrup in the ice so it's super sugary but all in all it's pretty good. They have a whole variety of flavors.

Catering from their decorated trailer sets this place apart from the rest, even if the best snow cones in STL didn't do it for you already.

The food is the same way. Well executed, flavorful plates without over complicating things. I hate a teriyaki chicken hi plate. The chicken was tattooed with grill marks sending subtle puffs of smoke within each crunch of the char. Basted in a sweet teriyaki, they don't overdue it. Let the sauce complement the meat, not drown it. The thin glaze is caramelized on the chicken skin leaving it slightly sticky, and all the more flavorful. The mac salad is superb. The best way to describe the flavor is soft. The creamy sauce glueing the mac to the celery and carrots just floats without doing too much. A bit of cream, a bit of richness, but still let the mac star the show. Some mac salads just taste like dollops of mayo, not at buzz's; superb! Staff is super friendly. Everyone was nice, collaborative, and even on a slow sunday afternoon, keeping busy helping one another out--always a pleasant sight at a small little shop. Oh, and it has a killer patio! Great for people watching, enjoying Hawaiian eats, and making memories! A lovely spot that flies under the radar and is 100% deserving of more love especially if you are on the hunt for fresh, fast casual!

A Hawaiian spot not serving fake mainland poke, but plate lunch type stuff. And serving actual island-style poke??? It sounded too good to be true. We put in a big order, then walked over to pick it up. It took some time, but I understand it was a big order near the end of the day so my friend and I were happy to wait. My wife and I had to get the poke with rice and Mac salad, and it turned out really good! Maybe not as good as the poke from Hawaii (obviously) or Seattle, but still something I would order again if I was in the area. However, my friend's items were not as good. I'm reviewing from my experience, but the beef items they got were overcooked, and the musubi had a terrible rice to meat ratio. Also they had tocino musubi on the menu which got us excited, but it turned out to be just the tocino flavored Spam and not actual tocino. I think they also forgot an item, but it was too much hassle for us to try to hash it out since it was already late. So I'll give a good review because my wife and I liked what we got, but definitely do some research if. you come here yourself.

Ambiance: Very nice, dark, cozy -- date night vibes…read more Service: Great! Polite, smiles, answered all our questions. We started with the Isaan hamachi. It was okay, but compared to Sado's version it just didn't hold up. The biggest issue was the aroma--it had a sour, almost "rotten milk" smell. I'm not sure if that was from the coconut milk reacting with the acidity of the dish and was intentional, but it really affected the overall experience. The flavor itself was decent, but smell plays such a big role in taste. Next was a white fish sashimi (I can't remember the name) served over a thin orange slice and topped with jalapeño. The flavor combination was really nice and refreshing, but the slices of fish were paper thin. At around $20, I expected a more substantial portion. The gyoza was solid. Nothing groundbreaking, but well-executed with great flavor, a beautiful crispy lace, and honestly one of the best-smelling dishes we ordered. The palm sugar ribs came highly recommended, so I was excited for them. Texture-wise they were excellent--crispy outside, juicy inside--but the sauce had an overpowering aroma that reminded both of us of wet dog. My guess is the fish sauce was a little heavy-handed. I've had plenty of dishes with fish sauce before and love the depth it adds, so I don't know if this was intentional or just an off night. The flavor itself was good, but the smell made it difficult to fully enjoy. (It was pungent in the worst way) The standout of the night was the Japanese eggplant. Absolutely incredible. Perfectly cooked, packed with flavor, and the chili crisp brought everything together. Easily a 10/10. For dessert, we had the mango custard coconut cake, which was also delicious. Favorite cocktail: the Re-Animator. Refreshing, citrus-forward, with just enough wasabi to give it a subtle kick. I've never had anything quite like it and would absolutely order it again. Overall, it wasn't the strongest first impression. There were definitely some highlights--the eggplant, dessert, and cocktail were all excellent--but if I'm spending this much on dinner, I'd probably choose Sado, where every visit has been consistently outstanding. That said, I'd still come back for that eggplant alone. This reads more like an honest dining journal than a takedown. It gives credit where it's due, clearly explains why certain dishes didn't work for you, and ends on a fair note rather than a harsh one.

We sat down and used the QR code on the table bc that was suggested. It wasn't packed so we didn't have trouble finding a place to sit. Seemed pretty chill. Few waiters and waitresses walking around. We were given waters and told if we needed help to let them know. From the menu, I believe we had limited options due to some things being sold out. The pulled pork came with slaw however the sauce made it a good choice. The sides were decent.
