The shaved ice shack is great. It is clean, not sticky, with plenty of seating. They have family games to play on the lot. Cold rush has a large variety of flavors along with candy toppings, which is my fav. It was also nice to see it was a place for kids/teens to go, and just hang out. It was obvious that parents trusted this location and staff. Last note, it was a guy and girl working. The girl came out and talked with each table. I'm not a big ice cream girl (sorry Ted Drewes) give me ice and syrup and I'm in 7th heaven, which is why Eureka Cold Rush is my happy place. The variety of flavors they offer is mind blowing which is why I made it my personal mission to try to make it through the whole menu. Service always comes with a smile and pretty darn quick too. I love the atmosphere there also, not just your run of the mill sno cone place on another parking lot, there's actually seating plus fun-ness to be had too with a variety of yard games. Very light on the syrup. For $7 I should not get half way thru and have nothing but unflavored white plain ice. Disappointed and wont be going back. cost way too much for no flavor......facts. truthful reviews help businesses do better. Update: Came back and ordered a small snowcone. Cold Rush Shaved Ice is hands down one of my favorite spots to cool off! They load up each shaved ice with generous amounts of syrup--no dry spots here--and I love that I can top mine with Nerds and Pop Rocks, my absolute favorite combo. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming, and they keep everything spotless. It's clear they care about providing a great experience.
