Kiraboos Shaved Ice was just okay. It's no where near Hawaiian Shave Ice and the prices were even more than on Oahu and smaller portions. First time visit. I will say that service was really cheery and good although the leak at the bottom of my cup was not observed by the server. Situational awareness or teenage obliviousness. Nice variety of flavors but again the premium prices on the Midwest mainland is a think-twice place for me.Thank you for the experience. read more

I am here so much I can't believe I haven't posted a review yet. Get a snowball. You cannot have a bad day if you get a snowball. I'm telling you! Service is always consistent, the ambience of the patio is perfect for a summer night. Don't miss out, I tell everyone I know about the ooey gooey but you can't go wrong with any of the flavors. Pretty good shave ice here in Ellisville - Friendly service as well. Ice is soft and snow powder like (as shave ice should be) and the syrup was flavorful. I had the Tigers Blood/Bahama Mama w/ice cream & cream; boys had Cookie Monster. Medium was quite filling. Will sure to go down a size nex time! read more

I have always had great experiences with Kiraboos! I had a run in with one of their umbrellas at the Ellisville location, during a storm, a few years back, before I had tried their sno/ice cream wonderfulness! Kira and her father handled the situation with class and a heart. I was excited to see a new location pop up near my home a few years after the umbrella incident...I was really glad my company had not come after them for the umbrella incident, and that they were doing well enough to expand! I have started going pretty regularly, with my family, to support a quality local business, with a great product, and good people running it. I really wanted a snow cone, slush, something sweet, fruity, icy, and remembered seeing this place. Arrived shortly before three and was warmly greeted by way of a wave and a smile by (I assume) the owner as she was putting out traffic cones. I checked the signs and, sure enough, cash only so I had to go raid my husband's console stash. I ordered a small bahama mama and was told it will be ready at the back window in a moment. It was a good size and was just what I was craving.....except for the banana flavor. I'm typically anti banana anything and I've never known of bahama mama to include banana flavor....but, I didn't ask what flavors they use and maybe that's just how they make theirs. However, even with the banana flavor, it was still pretty tasty and didn't stop me from finishing it. I'll be back to try out a non banana flavored snow cone another time. read more

Stopped by here while we caught Bluebird's fireworks along Manchester Road. We didn't have cash on us; however, there's an ATM a parking lot over. I briefly talked to the owner's dad, who was sweet and outgoing. He said it has always been a dream of her's to have a snow cone business. I'm glad she picked the location that she did! I can't wait for my son and I to come back by for more shaved ice. I wish nothing but the best to this business! read more

Super cute place right off of Manchester in Ellisville. Great flavors using pure cane sugar. Perfect ice to syrup ratio. The guys working are super friendly- when my daughter bravely requested more syrup for her ice, they happily handed her a little cup of juice, no charge! I'm here in town visiting my parents, but if we lived here we'd be here a lot more! read more

I simply cannot say enough good things about Kiraboo's! The texture of the snow is unreal, and their flavor combos are perfection: the Gooey Looey is *chef's kiss*. You can tell they put a lot of thought into what they serve, and it shows. Kiraboo's isn't just the best snow cone stand, it's one of our favorite places, period. But they jazz my kid so much they are worth every ridiculous cent I've every paid for one. And the flavors at Tropical SNO are pretty awesome. (Check our the photo). We take swing dance lessons just behind the parking lot where the snow cone stand sits, and we watched it all winter, sad and lonely and shuttered against the cold. We celebrated when we spotted its lights on last week and we had to stop. I had forgotten how enormous these shaved ice treats are. And the cups they serve them in are way better than those stupid paper cups you get elsewhere. And for those of us who just want a coffee to avoid all the calories -- they have that too. Tip - you can't see this place from Manchester Road it's hidden back off Old Meramec in a parking lot. Keep going. Your GPS isn't leading you the wrong way.
