The menu didn't have as many choices as some places, and just a few sugar free choices. There are just 3 choices in sizes. It makes it easy to decide quickly what to order. I got a Georgia sunshine today. They served each snow cone with lots of syrup, you won't get a dry cone! There were a few picnic tables with umbrellas so you could enjoy it on the premises. We happen to drive by a couple of days ago and on a whim I quickly checked them out on Yelp and figured out they serve sugar-free syrups. Not a great many but enough. So we banged a U-uey and dropped in on them a half an hour before closing. I'm a diabetic so sugar-free is the way to go for me. The grape was perfect! It didn't taste sugar-free, it didn't raise my blood glucose, everything about our visit was great. What made the visit even better was that we saw on the menu that they have SHAVED ICE FOR DOGS! Whoop, winner winner chicken dinner! We love places that accept and cater to dogs very much, there are not enough places that do. Unfortunately we did not have our dogs with us at the time but we're planning a second visit in a few days where we're sure to bring our two. The woman that was serving was great, she had on a good smile and was very personable. This is surely going to be a regular stop for us when we are out and about.

But they jazz my kid so much they are worth every ridiculous cent I've every paid for one. And the flavors at Tropical SNO are pretty awesome. (Check our the photo). We take swing dance lessons just behind the parking lot where the snow cone stand sits, and we watched it all winter, sad and lonely and shuttered against the cold. We celebrated when we spotted its lights on last week and we had to stop. I had forgotten how enormous these shaved ice treats are. And the cups they serve them in are way better than those stupid paper cups you get elsewhere. And for those of us who just want a coffee to avoid all the calories -- they have that too. Tip - you can't see this place from Manchester Road it's hidden back off Old Meramec in a parking lot. Keep going. Your GPS isn't leading you the wrong way.

There isn't much parking on the lot but that's why the side streets exist. I opted for a large. Combo of black cherry, wild cherry, and sour cherry. I felt there wasn't enough contrast between sour and wild cherry. Next time I'll go medium and get black cherry, lemonade or limeade, and sour cherry. The only thing I'd change: The styrofoam. It's 2019. Even if you have to raise prices by a quarter or fifty cents a size. Even if it doesn't insulate as well. No styrofoam. Just consider it. Thanks!

If you want the perfect sno-cone, go here. They literally soak your sno-cone in juice. Literally...it's dripping with sugary goodness. And how good is their flavor selection??? It covers the side of the sno-cone hut. They also pile the ice on...and it's perfect ice. Smooth, no chunks...it's amazing. And....it's cheap! Not to mention, the couple that runs the place...I mean...wow. They are at least half the experience. They fight with each other and will tell you their life story if you let them.
