I can't say enough good things about the team at Murphys Towing Repair. When our truck broke down and we were stuck needing immediate help, James, Jessica A, and Jesse truly went above and beyond for us. From the moment we arrived, they were professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful. James made sure everything was handled quickly and efficiently, Jessica A kept us informed every step of the way, and Jesse worked hard to get our truck serviced and back on the road as soon as possible. Their customer service was outstanding during a stressful situation--they treated us with kindness, urgency, and genuine care. It's clear they take pride in their work and in helping people when they need it most. Highly recommend Murphys Towing Repair to anyone in need of reliable and top-notch service. We all have needed a tow in our lives and it is very unnerving when it happens. When stranded and needing to charge the truck James was there to offer his services. Not only did he give a tow to the charging station but he offered to go get the trailer (as had to leave it to save power -still didn't make it). No worries though, there was a real Samaritan to help and so very thankful!! It's times like these that make me truly appreciate kind souls in this world!! read more

Amazing service! I am so very thankful for Murphy's Heavy Towing. Like many stories that involve a tow truck, first I did something less than intelligent. : ) I called Murphy's, got an immediate answer. Violet understood the situation and had me send some pics of the situation for the truck operator and I kid you not, less than half an hour later Caleb was onsite and got be back in the road. Literally. : ) Being stuck right next to a busy road like I-40 is a bit panic inducing. Being stuck there with my son, even more frustrating. But dealing with professionals at Murphy's - a good ending to the day. Thank you!!!! read more

If I am ever in the area and need a tow, recovery or anything related to the industry, I am definitely calling Murphys Towing!!

This review is strictly for CALEB! This review is long overdue! We can't thank him enough for our getting our broken trailer from Ash Fork all the way to Flagstaff KOA RV resort. We had broken leaf springs, and the way he was able to maneuver our trailer without breaking anything else really amazed us! He was so careful and made sure we were in a good position to be able to fix our trailer at the RV resort. He didn't care how long it was going to take, just as long as it was in the right position. Because of him we were able to continue our vacation out in Colorado! He was super patient and such a nice guy! Thanks Caleb for your help! read more

I had a nightmare experience at this location after experiencing two tire blowouts and a blown airbag. I was quoted $1,500 for just two tires--nearly triple what other shops in the area charge ($500-$600). When I tried to have a more reasonable mobile mechanic fix my truck, I was told I couldn't have repairs done on their lot and was forced to move to a side road while in distress. To make matters worse, I was ticketed by police the moment I moved. The local 'monopoly' energy here is real, and they seem more interested in exploiting stranded drivers than helping them. Save yourself the headache and the money--call someone else before you let them touch your rig." read more

Over priced, lady at the front act she doesn't know the daily prices of having a truck in the possession, just so they can up the prices when they want. Prices are usually placed up so everyone can see. They don't care about your belongings just about the money, which is common now a days. Be careful and if you get another tow company then do so. They charged us for 5 hours of work when they only took 2 hours , with the price it makes a difference, I'm happy we are done with them, and NEVER AGAIN! read more

The best I've witnessed yet! Murphy is knowledgeable and experienced with His off-road vehicles. He owns big rigs too and knows how to handle them in desert driving. Personally, I wouldn't drive an 18 wheeler in the desert. He has helped others to get their 18 wheelers out of deep sand in the desert. read more

Great customer service. Repaired a broken stem on our RV in less then 30 minutes. Great team work by these employees.

After running out of skill and blowing a turn, I found myself hung up on a tree very close to a steep drop-off. By all accounts - this SHOULD have been a very dangerous recovery given the precarious way my truck was teetering on a ledge. Rick and his crew arrived in short order, and securely rigged the front and rear of the truck to a BEAST of a recovery wrecker known as "Black Betty". The slowly and securely dragged my 6000lb truck back up the gravel slope and back on to the roadway without leaving so much as a scratch on her. Seriously, it was impressive to watch and immediately clear that Rick has TONS of years experience doing this sort of thing. I've got Murphy's in my phone on speed dial now - I hope I never find myself in that situation again but if I do, there is no question who'd I call. read more

Murphys tow saved my life and got us a new tire in our way to the Grand Canyon. However this was after we were forced to wait for 5 hours because a man by the name of Steve either did not want to help us or was unfamiliar with what he was doing. We caught a flat tire after hitting a pot hole at 4am and Steve after making us call law enforcement to tell him the exact freeway marker we were on even though we were right off the freeway with our hazards on in pitch black 7 mins away from the shop told us he did not have a tire for our 228i stock rim. Not 30inch rims... stock. To later find out at 8:30-9 am that the shop actually had 3 tires for us. Then not to mention it took over an hour to change one tire lol read more

Driver complained about my car, said he wished they were illegal to drive because they're I guess hard to tow. Misunderstanding between my insurance and the towing company, so when he first arrived he was prepared to change a tire, not tow. Told me to call the insurance back and drove away, rather than let me call them and get it straightened out on the spot, so it took some time to get him back. I get it, kind of, but also we were on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere and getting dark. Didn't wear a mask. read more

Murphy's took great care of us. The staff was nice, and very knowledgeable. Will definitely be going back!

Our van was on the side of the road and although they say they are 24 hours, they would not come out and change a tire. It was about 9 p.m. If your stating that your 24 hours then you should provide service 24 hours. Not leave people hanging in the middle of the night in the side of the road. Not good customer service. read more

Several years ago my husband hit an elk on I-40. He managed to drive it back to my job, bit the windshield was smashed, the entire drivers door crushed, broken headlight and bashed in hood. My husband had to be taken to hospital by ambulance due to glass in his eyes and face. Called my insurance company to get it towed from Williams to Ash Fork. This was at midnight. My insurance company could not get a hold of Murphys towing even though they claim 24hr towing. They would not answer their phone. Ended up having a tow company from Flag (Am/Pm) come and get me my daughter and son in law. Most honest locals know this place is a rip off. I was warned about them 20+ years ago. They to this day have a bad reputation. Don't go there. Find someone in Flagstaff. read more

I was trying it about 4 miles down the road on the highway on the 40 E. I was pulling my enclosed trailer when my axle snap the tire hub and the drum broke off this happened at about 2 AM I went online and found that Murphy's is a 24 hour company however other truckers were sleeping I want able to attend as to about 8:30 or 9 AM so I'm confused on the 24 hour part of their marketing promoting a 24hour service Phone after explaining our situation to dispatch they said they would have someone out as early as 8 AM to assist us with our trailer I sent him pictures of the broken axle and a flat front tire of my double axle trailer to make sure they sent the right truck to tow us to their shop They said the guy in the regular truck the guy literally parked by my trailer early morning didn't take longer than 10 minutes to realize he wasn't gonna be able to even chain it up we wait another hour before a bigger tow truck showed up I finally got us up on the flatbed trailer I took it to the shop when we arrive to Murphy's towing shop we were acknowledged by the front desk receptionist who gave us horrible customer service and treated us like we were not important when we asked to see if what we can do next about our situation she had a really bad attitude when we asked for the receipt for the bill of the towing it came up to $995 which was completely insane and we were charged a service fee for the first guy that showed up to do absolutely nothing they were trying to charge us for the training and spares of this service which was not even done we ended up having to pay everything and pulling a trailer out of there going to a different company down the street they take care of us at Patriot Automotive &truck repair I'd advise people to be careful going through this company they do charge you an arm and a leg feel that the service is worth a lot more than what should be there for towing only a few miles down the road if you don't want to pay close to $1000 for a simple tow for a trailer please Make sure to ask what they're going to quote you on this service before you get to the shop because then you're stuck and I have to pay their fees read more

Thank you so much to Lisa, Garrett and Bodie! We honestly would have been screwed without you all. thank you! Lisa and Garrett were all so helpful. They had the right tires we needed for our pop-up (we have an older model, so not everywhere has the right tires). Well first they said the tow was 200 an hour. They took the hour then charged me 420 and called it n off road charge. They guys seemed nice but had the car fixed and started to drive it home and the drive shaft they disconnected fell out of the truck going 65 MPH. Another 450 in anew drive shaft. Called them and got no call back. Just another shorty customer service experience post 2020. Where did the accountably go!?! read more

Heading to Flagstaff for a small road trip for summer break. I had a flat tire on my way with my 3 boys. I hit a pot hole. I was going to use my Geico roadside assistance but it would only allow 2 passengers in the tow truck and I could not leave my other 2 boys on the side of the road so we got a hold of Murphy's. They picked us up in 30 minutes and then when we reached Ashfork, The tow truck took us to a truck stop and we had refreshments while waiting for the tire repair. My rim was bent but the technician made it so it could be fixed. the shop fixed my tire and we were on our way. Small blip in our vacation that had a lot of value as it showed my young sons how to handle a situation like this. I would highly recommend this place. Everyone was so kind and helpful from the tow truck driver to the service writer to the repair person. I am so grateful to them for helping me in an emergency situation. Bless you all read more

Not a fair businessman and they try to take advantage of the situation. I wish there was another company in this town. The cop was agreed that it was a rip off. He just couldn't do anything by law. He asked me to pay now and settle in the court. I won't go to court of course for this. I am from out of state. So I will just have to wish you will pay another way for this ridiculous cheating business method. I was charged for 38 miles. But it was actually less than 30miles. read more

First, I was not the person towed. It was my daughter and her cousin's husband on their way to New Mexico to pick up my other daughter. The worst phone call I got on the night of the 31st of December, while I was at work "Mom, I'm ok, but...", My heart jumped into my throat. My daughter experienced black ice, something not really an issue here in So. Cal. Panicking, the conditions were snowy, black ice and on I-40 far enough away from Flagstaff but sort of close to Williams. I was frantic on the computer as she was reassuring me she was ok. "Wait mom, tow truck is here, I will call you back". Longest time of my life. My daughter might be 24, but she is still my baby and I was helpless to help her at that moment. A while later I got the call that "Matt", the driver of the tow truck loaded the truck up and got them both into Williams at the Red Roof Inn. I could relax. They were safe. All of this story above leads to my many many gracious thank you's to Matt from Murphy's Towing and Truck Repair. He was professional, experienced and made my daughter and her cousin's husband feel SAFE. In a situation that could have gone terribly wrong, they were lucky. Being outside in really cold temperatures and sketchy conditions make it all bad. Thank you to the Highway Patrol in Arizona, Matt the best tow truck driver and the people at the Inn. Thank you Murphy's Tow for having Matt as our "Angel" that night... Signed, One very grateful Mom. read more

due to severe road conditions between Seligman and Ash fork my vehicle suffered damage (like many others that day) and needed a tow from Seligman to Chino Valley. I was puzzled when the driver stated after loading me up that he needed to stop for fuel. More than half was needed for one tank and the other was empty. Both were filled at what would be at my expense since it was obvious this outfit could not afford to keep truck fueled up. I could not believe how a company would operate by taking advantage of a person and ripping off Americans. My tow bill was $715.00 I will be asking my insurance agent to contact owner just incase they do not support this conduct within the company and will post results. Until then beware of this towing service read more
