My wife and I want to share our highest compliment for Michael's service. We were in desperate straits when our travel trailer broke a rear spring bracket and caused a flat tire. We were on I40 in AZ on our way to the Grand Canyon. After help from a wonderful roadside tire repair service, we limped into Seligman for the night (Friday). We were stuck because the broken bracket would cause another flat unless it was welded... and we needed mobile repairs onsite or tow by a flatbed trailer. We searched and searched unsuccessfully online and by phone for someone to assist us, but timing and availability were against us. I decided to visit one repair place to talk to an expert - Murphy's Truck Repair & Towing in Ashfork. What a relief to find a company and employees who cared! They advised they would pick up our trailer via flatbed on Sunday and bring it to the shop for repairs. Sunday morning, I exchanged photos of the damaged area with Rick at Murphy's Towing. He said instead of towing us he could send a welding truck to our location and 30 minutes later Michael arrives. Michael was an expert, a complete professional and a friendly face. His thorough inspection revealed that the opposite bracket was cracking and would break at any minute. He proceeded to repair our trailer with such masterful skill all the while answering all our questions, explaining his repairs and reassuring us we would be safely back on the road by the end of the day. In fact, after about 3 hours we were on our way to the Grand Canyon with our newly repaired travel trailer in tow. Thank you thank you thank you Michael for taking such great care of us! The right resources are what is needed to give any wrong situation a chance to change for the better. "Furthermore I am choosing to be blunt but brief in my personal problem that occurred in the first place, that leads to me writing this review." Because it was nothing I expected nor experienced before... All I want to share with the world is that I had a right situation go wrong real quick & it made it feel like everything else I was encountering within those moments went wrong. But when Matt showed up on the scene, in that first second till the last second (though he was only doing his job) it made everything seem like it was going to be okay & that feeling from everything not okay at all, to being okay was EVERYTHING. Right away it was proven of how perfectly professional & proficient of a tow truck driver Matt is, I will till the end of time appreciate his help. I am sure he is a huge asset to Murphy's towing/ truck repair company 24/7. We we were driving from west coast to east coast north in a Ford van towing a cargo trailer. The aluminum housing over one of the trailer wheels was torn from two if the securing bolts leaving only one in the top center holding it on loosely. The shroud was hitting the wheel so we had to pull to the side of I-40. AAA said it would be an hour but an hour and a half later they were still not there and when a tow driver finally called, he wasn't certain he could fix it and still was 30 miles away. A state trooper came by and recommended and followed us to Murphys Towing and Automotive Services in Ashfork, Az just a few miles up the road. There, Lisa checked us in right away and Mark went to work on the trailer. Mark removed the tire, added washers and extra bolts to the damaged shroud and tightened bolts the shroud on the undamaged side, just in case. We were done in less than 40 minutes. The transmission went out in my 97KW. It was a Sunday night but in no time flat Ricky was there to tow it into the shop for me. Took a couple days for the tranny to come in but James worked on what he could in the meantime to get me back out there fast. James was in constant contact with me with everything that was going on. Perfection in Offroad Recovery Form. Blew a spindle, they pulled the wheels off, chained up the axle, and gave me an escort to their yard where they got right on the job the next day. My Chevy Traverse hubs went and went bad. I'm not a healthy man. Murphys saved my butt. Marcia handled it with the up most respect. The mechanic Garrett stayed late to finish, real late and did an amazing job. Big Rick even came out to see if I was ok and we talked about elk hunting. James arranged and approved the late fix making sure Garrett had all the right tools. Allowing him to even use his personal tools. I know this is long,but so many helped to make sure I can reach my doctors appointment today. It amazed me. Murphys works at a step above . I was involved in what could have been a very dangerous accident this past weekend that involved a trailer being dislodged from the van that was towing it. When I contacted the office at Murphy's, the gentlemen I spoke with was very responsive and intent on finding a way to assist. He dispatched Shawn to my location in a service vehicle. Had an issue with our exhaust on our RV and this place was recommended by a fellow traveler. Even though we didn't have an appointment Rick found the time to fit in the job and got us back on our way. Nice young couple who own the place. Even drove us to a hotel with our cats and worked late so we could leave first thing in the morning. They could have charged us much more but were honest and only did what was needed. I'd be a repeat customer if we lived locally. While waiting you can grab a coffee or pizza right next door at the trading post and bring a cracker for the black bird Edgar. Had a massive oil leak on my 36' motorhome near Ash Fork, Az. Called Murphy's at around 4:30 on a Monday evening, I was told to come in when they opened at 8:00 the next morning. They started looking at it first thing in the morning, they were friendly, helpful and diagnosed they problem quickly, he was very good about keeping the interior of the m/h clean, because we had to access thru bedroom. Fixed the problem within 2 hours, charged us a very reasonable rate. I would highly recommend this business, it was a pleasure finding that sort of help in a town of 400 people. read more

Broke down on a Tuesday morning on 40 west on a desolate stretch of road just west of Seligman, Arizona. Kevin from Murphy's towing was good-natured and polite, but above all a true pro - Kevin and I were driving to a mechanic in less than 15 minutes flat after he arrived by the side of the road with his Murphy's truck. We experienced a blow out on out motorhome. Called and spoke to violet, she was so helpful, she sent a tow truck out within 30 mins got us off the hwy, Poncho the tow truck driver was amazing he got the tire swapped and then followed behind us 30 miles back to their shop. We did have to stay the night in our motorhome till morning were they were able to locate us a new tire and get us back on the road.
