They picked me and my kids up, took us to a hotel, offered to take me to get groceries while we waited for the needed parts. (walking to get food in the snow with a 4 year old isn't my idea of a good time.) picked me up when my car was ready. Went above and beyond checking my fluids and making sure my car would get me and my kids home all the way in East Texas. Time for the bill, terrified of what they could charge knowing I was absolutely stuck, they came in on the weekend to finish the repairs and they had my car. On Monday October 14th our alternator on or pickup went out and we were stuck on the side of the…read moreroad .We had a different tow company come and tow us 3.5 miles to a hotel in Valle, AZ. That guy was amazing. On the morning of Tuesday October 15th we called Adams Tow Company to pick us and our truck up and take us to their shop . They did arrive promptly and towed us to their shop. Over the phone He quoted us $300 for a trip and then upon arrival to the shop we were told the amount would be $420 ($10 a mile and $125 service fee) even thought he knew how far we had to go and he still ended up , up charging us. He's attitude was very unpleasant the entire time. As we arrived to the shop we had to wait awhile for the mechanic to arrive since he was in flagstaff picking up parts and an alternator for us. Now he was good. He got the alternator installed quickly and did an amazing job. But we were definitely not happy with the towing aspect of the company and his up charge. I would highly recommend Adam's Automotive repair shop but not recommend their towing service.

This might have been what you were you referring to in regards to your normal two step process that eventually became, the master mechanic was looking at the process the entire time. Normally, The two step process is as follows: Hand tightened lug nuts in a crisscross start shaped pattern. That seats the wheel evenly! that never happened. Then the torque at specs. You know as well as I do the mechanic never set the wheel properly. This idea of the experience mechanic watching does not make any sense. If he was watching, and he was not, that has no impact of physically putting the wheel back on! You write well an must have been a very good story teller in school. I give you an A for that story! You know as well as I do, that I did not travel over 5 thousand miles in one month. That would have been one long trip. So whoever logged those miles might be the same person who set the pressure on the torque! Not so good with math!!! Sir, I don't appreciate being called a liar!! The tow truck driver, who was supposed to tow the vehicle never did. I told you that was were the vehicle was going not was there. Where you made up me telling you was locked in a yard-- not!! The tow truck driver never showed up because he claims the truck he sent had to flat tires in the back. Action Auto was the main place I took my truck in 7 years, and you never told me to change the old bolts, so if you had a concern you should have told me. Specifically during the last time you did the job on my tire in May 2026. You make absolutely no sense! Additionally, you told me anytime you change or replace wheels it is a two step process. You told me you torque and then wrench it. Then you told me after I question the process on the video that the 2nd step was the Eric was standing right there the entire time. He did even look the direction of the mechanic the entire time. I don't want to go back and forth with you, but I will say your really lacked professionalism. If I was an owner of a shop and there was any possibility that my shop was the last shop to remove an replace a tire, and that wheel came off. I would have offered more than warrantied parts. However, you don't need to worry about me i am out- I really don't think you cared at all about me! The manner in which the vehicle wheel was put back on is in question! Plus your two step process you claimed was not done. Unless the Veteran mechanic looking away from the work an' a virtually set the wheel. He's good and I like him but he is not that good.

No one anticipates or expects to be traveling through the hot Arizona desert at sunset and to have…read moreyour car notify you that your tire is flat! Well that ended up being our nightmare of an evening heading back to Phoenix from Jerome/Sedona. Given that our tire wouldn't fill up and was leaking air nonstop, we were stranded. Thankfully Love's Truck Care in nowheresville Arcosanti passed along Devin at Dove's Tires business card. Devin was our godsend we dubbed "Dove's at Love's." We called and he drove the 45 minutes each way from Prescott to save the day. Not only that, but he was friendly, personable and explained everything he was doing to repair a hole in our flat tire due to a nail. Devin had not just repaired it but perfected it to allow us to safely drive the 100 miles left of our trip. If we had gone through AAA, it would have taken well over an hour for someone to arrive and only have the spare tire put on, not even allowing us to reach the next town with civilization 60 miles away. Given that it was after 5 pm, all tire stores were already closed for the day.
