His order was good to go. I ordered chicken bacon burger, no bun, extra lettuce and whatever veggies it came with. We have eaten here numerous times and never had any issues with the food. Well I get to my room and open the to go box, I told my husband they forgot my veggies. I called to inform them I'm missing my veggies. Who gets a burger/sandwich with 6-7 slices or tomatoes and a handful (it was about 15-20) pieces of pickles??? YES!!!! I am upset that I had to walk back to the restaurant while my food is getting cold. Mind you I hate eating cold fries and it's not the same when you reheat it in the microwave. As a Havre local, I really do not like posting negative reviews about local businesses in our community, and I've gone back and forth about sharing this experience...but I'm so disappointed I feel I have to at this point. Last weekend, I planned to join a friend and her child for lunch at Murphy's. When I was walking in, I slipped and fell on a grease spill that was carelessly dumped on the front sidewalk of Murphy's. My knee was bleeding. We walked in and told the wait staff, and the manager eventually came to ask how I was doing. I told her I broke skin, my knee was bleeding, and I'm glad it wasn't my friend and her 1 year old who fell. After all of that, not even 1 item on our bill was comped. Pretty disappointing experience, and I don't think I'll be back. Watch your step, folks. read more

This is pretty much the only game in town. I went to several places in town and the results were not good. Maybe they were having a bad day but it probably not that likely. Murphy's was consistent and the staff were on top of everything. Came here several times and had decent drinks and food. The flat iron steak was good and plenty of fixings to fill you up. Service was a bit slow and even though I ordered a steak caesar salad i was brought a chicken caesar salad. I ate it without complaint and it was good but not what I wanted. But bc the service was slow I didn't want to wait for them to fix it. Luckily I don't have a chicken allergy. Breadsticks with alfredo dip were the best part of the meal. Good prices as well. It is five stars when you get a good waitress. Sometimes the waitress is not so good but the food always is. Fish and Chips are really outstanding, just about as good as I have ever eaten. There salads have generous portions and are always very good. Something as simple as the French fries are worth going for. In all the times I have eaten at Murphy's the food was great. The Ambiance is lacking a bit because of the tin ceiling. It is unusually loud but the food and beer is good enough to make up for any other shortcomings. read more

This is the best "sit-down" restaurant and Sports Bar in Havre, easily. The problem is finding a time when it's not too busy (or Sunday night, see below). Recommend - $5 cup of soup, Bacon Cheeseburger with regular(steak) or waffle fries ($13). Waitstaff is usually good-great but had a bad one Sunday night! There was only 6-8 tables for 2 waitresses, but it was like pulling teeth trying to get anything from her. Worst part was we saw her going to refill the paper towels in the bathroom, and when I went in there, she opened the machine, but just left the roll on the counter, with the old roll just thrown on the ground. The beers are cold and affordable. They have a nice selection of tap and bottles. You choose 16 or 23 oz for tap. The wings are excellent, I recommend the mango habanero. If you really want some pain, go for the ghost pepper barbecue, it's tasty and fiery. I also had a reuben here which was pretty decent. I always order fish and chips, and some times you get decent size pieces of fish, and other times they are small and seem to be less in the basket. The wings are ok, sauces are good. Great food and beer selection. We ate there twice over the weekend. The first time for supper. I had the street tacos with Cod which were excellent and my boyfriend had the Rubin. We were both very satisfied with our meals. The second time was at lunch we got two appetizers, the platter and potato skins. Both were what you would expect. Our waiter was fantastic.
