Everything was really good, but I got charged $3 extra to put a different type of cheese on my burger because swiss cheese makes me sick. Had I known that, I wouldn't have gotten any cheese! This place has good food to bad it has gotten so expensive. Use to be you could go eat for $20-$25 which is still kinda steep for lunch (burger and fry's) now with new price's it has risen to at least $30 for two people. The only reason it isn't getting 5 stars is because it's often closed down during posted business hours and customer service is sometimes lacking. Big portions. Decent milkshakes. Average burgers, and pretty expensive for the quality of food. The buns tend to fall apart before you finish your burger. Bad, greasy, soggy fries. About a half hour before closing time, the wait staff seemed to get eager to get customers out the door so they can go home. While I'm sure this is true of all restaurants, when they take things from the table before you're finished with them it becomes a little obvious. read more

Dry, tasteless burger that fell apart. Cold greasy french fries. Terrible customer service. Wanted to order a milk shake and couldn't hold the waiter attention long enough to do that. Put clean silverware down on our dirty table. Had to request that they wipe off the table and then get us clean silverware. I've had the opportunity to eat at Wolfer's Diner on several occasions while working in Havre and I've enjoyed every meal. The atmosphere is of a 1960's diner with oldies playing quietly on overhead speakers and a lot of posters of Marilyn Monroe and other stars from the past on the walls. The food consists of American standards such as burgers, fries, chili, salads and more and all prepared well. The milk shakes are especially noteworthy. We came in on a Friday afternoon and every table was busy and remained that way during our visit...good sign that the place is well-liked. Our waiter happily wiped down a table and sat us. We had a burger and the Cobb salad. Both were great. The restaurant is an old-style lunch counter, (minus the counter), with homemade desserts, burgers and shakes. Great real beef burgers. Great old fashion real potato fries. Fabulous old fashion malt. Good service. Prices are ok. Some folks reviews said the prices were high. Have you been to Micky D's lately? And no comparison with the food. If you don't like paying a normal price for good food there's a Walmart down the road. Get a sandwich and a pop and maybe you'll be happier. For us, we make a special trip for their burgers, fries and malteds. It's nice to have some real food. read more
