I'm very concerned for the safety and health of the people drinking their water. The water tastes like mold. And you can see the Pepsi machine has a lot going on. Just like when your battery goes bad in your car. This is such a health hazard. I'm shocked people don't say anything !!

If you've ever been to Chester you know there's very few options to eat. Spuds is one of the two, an average place to grab a bite and the only place in town open for breakfast. As a matter of fact it's probably the only place between Havre and Shelby open for breakfast. Fortunately, they're open six days a week and offer great service. This is the kind of place where the cook and waitress know everybody that comes in by first name. In fact, many of the same people eat here every day. And many of those order the same thing every day. If you're from out of town this is going to be an experience for you. Most small towns like this have gone away in the last several decades. You can't beat local service like this. If you're a foodie you're not going to be impressed here. The food is better than places like Denny's and IHOP, but very similar. All of it comes from a food distributor and isn't fresh. However, it's not greasy and will more than get you by when you're in Wheat Country like this. We've eaten here about a dozen times and never had a bad meal. They always get your order right and prices are more than affordable. If you're coming here for breakfast they have all your traditional items. Most of us order your traditional bacon, eggs, hash browns and toast. However they do have french toast but no waffles. And the omelets won't disappoint either. If you're coming for lunch plan on ordering a burger. The Big Montana and the Farmer's Burger are your best options. We've never come here for dinner so we can't comment on that.

There is a classic burger that is not to be missed. I had the cream of tomato soup and I thoroughly enjoyed it. They have reasonable hours of operating and plenty of space. The prices are also very reasonable. The salad I has was of a simple iceberg affair with some other flourishes, but generally a no frills offering. You get plenty of crackers for your trouble of ordering a salad. I would gladly return to eat her next time I am fortunate enough to be back in Chester.

Good food with great service. Burger's are definitely good! Service was fast and the ice tea is fresh.

And, no one seems to care. This is a local's spot that I'm guessing doesn't see too much traffic from those who don't live here. It's also, one of two places to eat in Chester (other than Spud's) and the only one open late. When you walk inside, and if you aren't with a bunch of locals, people will turn and look at you (everyone is friendly). It's almost like a movie. You'll find a few good ole boys at the bar drinking and often the same few daily. A few people will be playing the slot machines. And, others will be chatting and ordering drinks/food. There's a bar and restaurant side, and normally one bartender and another server, or one that does both. It's like a rundown dive bar and locals love it, possibly because there's no where else to go. Either way, if you are hungry you might not have any other choices. Keep in mind, even the grocery store closes at 8pm. After that, it's here, starve or go eat some of the wheat on the farms that surround the region. The food is average and if you like greasy food, you'll love this place. They do provide value, large portions and plenty of flavor. What's their specialty? Locals will tell you the broasted chicken. Many of my friends call the restaurant "The Coop" just because of it. And, where else can you find four pieces of broasted chicken for less than $10 (and sides)? Normally, I'll order a burger. The Brown Burger is a monstrous two patties that also carries ham, bacon and cheese. My big buddies order it, but I stick with the patty melt, and often ask for pastrami on it. The burgers taste hand-made (we know they are) and won't do you wrong. They have hand-cut fries and sweet potato tots, too. On a positive note, unlike the rest of the region, they don't use iceberg lettuce, rather fresh greens. The salad is far better than you'd expect. Keep in mind, this is the only place in town where you can watch a game, have a beer, grab a bite and play a slot machine - without shuffling your feet. You'll find yourself in the midst of farmers, ranchers, teachers and a few other locals and full after a meal here.

It was a seat yourself place, so we did & we were given water pretty quickly. Honestly, we didn't notice any issue, it was busy and we were dazed, however, we were approached with an apology for the delay and confusion- which confused us, ha! She explained that both gals thought the other was helping us, as 2 tables came in at once & turned out neither was. We said it was all good & we really hadn't noticed, they said that they had tho & they were taking off 20% - well, that alone is worth 5 stars. The service, we thought, was great. We only had water to drink but it was never empty and she even asked about ice. We ordered from the specials menu- Kel got the BIG bison burger with the cheeseburger soup for a side, the soup was the star there. I went with the beef sandwich, a twist on the French dip and it was delish! We switch halfway through & I was very bitter about it this time. It came with tons of tasty fries too. The price was insanely reasonable. We tipped back all the savings and still feel like we shorted them. Thanks Yelposphere for this solid stop that we wouldn't have spotted from the road!

Saw an unfair review posted on here by another yelp reviewer. So I had to come and post my review…read moreof the Club House. First off, let me just say WOW. What an amazing place to come and eat! And if you ever saw the size of the kitchen this place has you would never believe the amount and amazing food that comes out of there. The manager, who is all over the place, be it in the kitchen, behind the bar, or serving the tables, this woman does it all! It is a family dinning restaurant, with yes a bar, but it is more than that! It is a local hang out for the kids, who after a home game pile in order cheese fries and hot/bbq wings and wash it down with Shirley temples! Families come with their whole family (5-60!) Cause they know the staff will get the job done, and do it with a smile and laughs! Friday home cooked meals, French dips, and burgers! want a lighter side, try their salads! They have daily specials and the prices are great! Eat in or take out! As far as over serving? Well most folks know that if they have had to much to drink, which usually happens at the other local hangouts, that they come over get a hot meal, and a ride home. The staff looks out for their customers, and their staff! If someone is causing trouble (like throwing chairs at other customers or harassing their girlfriend and emotional abusing their partner) they get trespassed from the establishment. It's a safe place to be. So ignore the negative nelly who is posting hateful comments and false reviews, because he is not getting his way. Stop in the Clubhouse for a bite to eat or hey just to sit a while and enjoy the joyful company!
