I enjoyed my visit to the Mediterranean Room in the duck inn in Havre Montana. Very nice dining room, relaxing., I especially enjoyed the warm loaf of bread with olive oil and herbs. I do prefer a little more iceberg lettuce in my salad, then just spring mix try their house potatoes enjoy the green beans vegetable had a 16 ounce Certified Angus Beef ribeye steak, steak was a little over cooked but still very good read more

Visiting from Las Vegas to drop off our son to college and hubby wanted a steak. My husband ordered the special 24oz steak with pan seared potatoes, green beans and soup. I ordered the 1/2 crab with 10oz steak with the same sides except salad instead of soup. Friendly staff. Tender steaks to the point we were able to cut them with plastic butter knives as we ordered to go. Green beans were seasoned well and those potatoes, muah! I stopped in here while traveling across the country and I'm glad I did. The service, food and wine were all great. I just had soup, salad, and an appetizer, as I wasn't hungry, but they were all fantastic. The complimentary wine they brought was a really nice touch. Well, I've found the best restaurant in Havre. The restaurant is uniquely decorated. I'm not going to try to explain, but I like it. Would have been a better place to bring a date as opposed to my coworkers. Our server brought us samples of some pretty good red and white wine. I had the seared tuna, in Montana, far away from the ocean.... It was prepared very well. I also had the homemade chips with parmesan on them for my side, quite delightful as well. My wife and I were passing through Havre. We stopped at the Mediterranean Room for a steak. We are from MPLS St Paul area. We have had steak at some of the finest restaurants there but none have come close to the delicious steaks we had here. The service was first class as well. read more

Driving to Glacier NP and stopped at a bad RV park. Went across the street to Mediterranean Room at the Duck Inn and had the best steak in my life and I don't impress easily. If you are In the area you've got to go. I'm envious of the locals. read more

Not bad. Not good. Needs some work. Could be great. If you order food to go BE SURE to request the Mediterranean Room. They share the same building and maybe even the same kitchen with the Duck Inn, but the food is decidedly different. When we eat there we like to each the grilled chicken Caesar salad. It is delicious and priced right. It is especially good if you order it with a second grilled chicken filet, too. But if you make the mistake and order it next door at the Duck Inn you get some monstrosity that has sun dried tomatoes. A Caesar salad does NOT come with sun dried tomatoes. In fact, most restaurants stopped serving sun dried tomatoes after the 1990s, but the Duck Inn doesn't seem to know this yet. We also like to order the Chicken Marsala or the Sauteed Beef Tips and Pasta. Both are quite good. Staff is very friendly. Interior and atmosphere is VERY dated. Restaurant is in dire need of a face lift. But what would you expect in a restaurant in a Montana town far removed from any other town? read more
