This was one of the best corn beef hashes I have had in a long long time. The hash was cooked just right and o had two over easy eggs and let the yolks run in to make a sauce and the hash browns were cooked just the way I like them. The rye toast was toasted and buttered just right to be able to clean the plate. If it wasn't inappropriate I may have just licked the plate. Highly recommend those family owned and down to earth restaurant. I for one will now be a regular here whenever I am in Havre.

Upon waking in, it was unclear whether we were supposed to go to the counter or sit down and order, so we went to the counter. No one greeted us. A lady was there to take our order, so I asked her for a menu. Then she asked if we were eating in and when we said yes, she gave us a single menu and told us to sit wherever. The menu is VAST with lots of options. I went with the pastrami sandwich and a baked potato, both of which were tasty other than the thick rye bread on my sandwich. The single star is taken off due to the bread and the confusion and lack of professionalism in the restaurant. I would definitely stop by again though now that we know the protocol.

I've eaten here before, and it's always been really good, but I will not order the bread bowl again because it was $7.25 and there was hardly anything to it. The waitress was great, but I just can't see paying that much for a little tiny bread bowl with hardly any soup in it.

We don't have these restaurants where we are from, and we were traveling, hungry, and had a few questions about the menu and such. Everyone working there, they were all so respectful and provided excellence service. The food.. food.. It was amazing. Typical small town diner greasy burger. But it was so good. Absolutely huge and delicious. Get the messy Burger and all the things on it. It's worth it. You can pick off what you don't like. It was so messy and gooey and good. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is because the place was so small and limited seating, and a limited menu. But for a small town Burger diner type place, it was very much worth the stop.
