This is my go-to breakfast burrito spot when I don't feel like cooking breakfast. Most of the time they have 3 different types of burritos with varying ingredients . The size of the burritos is very generous for the $5.99 price tag. I highly recommend this place if you need a quick and filling breakfast burrito. The cashiers are also very welcoming which ads to the overall great vibe this grocery store has. If you're in the area, it is worth dropping by. read more

I would give this specialty market 5 stars, except that it's butchering service apparently has a serious problem. They seem willing, and they're very polite, but take this for an example of the problem: we requested that they take a six-pound piece of meat off the bone and cube it for us. According to the USDA standard, a cube is a larger form of "dicing" which means that the pieces are no smaller than 1/8 inch and no larger that 3/8 inches square. https://www.recipetips.com/glossary-term/t--35312/cube.asp. We clarified by saying "bite-size". We received our meat in large 3 to four inch long and two to three or more inch thick uneven chunks of varying shapes. I honestly wonder, is that what they put in their diced meat chilis, stews, and casseroles at home? Who shoves a 3x4 inch hunk of meat into their mouth in one bite? Maybe starving wolves think of that as "bite size". Clearly no effort was made to "cube" this meat for us. They either don't know better or they don't care enough to do an adequate job at this straightforward butchering task. Sloppiness and/or carelessness in butchering is very off-putting. One wants to know that one's butcher understands how to handle meat properly and at least understands basic terms.Very concerning, very frustrating. My husband and I are both handicapped so we could only correct the problem with enormous difficulty. So much for a service that used to be routine. read more

This is for the Deli: I went in for a BLT and the bacon was burnt so bad you could barely taste it, bread was ridiculously dry and they skimped on the lettuce. It was edible but really disappointing. I'm from Eureka so I guess I'm used to the Cutten Deli, which is amazing. If you want to try a great sandwich from Murphys, going all the way to Cutten is sooooo worth the drive!! As for the rest of the store all the employees could care less about your experience and aren't the nicest. The girls at Cutten are always so cheerful and often laughing, it's a great environment! On the other hand, there does seem to be a wider selection of things at this location though so that's a plus! I still like Cutten better. read more

I went in today at 2 pm and had a unusually large bill. After looking at my receipt I saw that the cashier (Aiden L) had falsely charged me 26$ for 2 pounds of chocolate cashews instead of bananas. This was a huge difference that I didn't notice until reading my receipt. This was very annoying and a huge inconvenience. I will not be shopping at this Murphy's anymore due to the fact that the employees do not have attention to detail and falsely charge way too much for an item I didn't even purchase! read more

They can be a little pricey, and yeah some things I'll wait and buy at Winco. But my husband and I live right up the street, and we love walking down late at night and grabbing a chocolate milk and a snack. We especially love sitting down for lunch at their little picnic tables when they do the barbecue outside! Some things aren't quite worth it. For $2.99 I would rather go home and make my own hot dog. But their cheeseburgers and pulled pork sandwiches, I believe they are $6.99 each, are amazing! They're very filling and well worth the price. Forgot to add: LOVE their international section! My family is Scottish and my dad loved getting a bar of clotted cream fudge for his birthday. You find the most random items there and some of it is amazing, some is trash. But it's so fun to try new things from all over the world. read more

I've been shopping here for over 15 years, atl1 least twice a week. I know it's bad for me, but I get a mountain dew in the morn ( I don't drink coffee). Today I noticed that 7up was .99 so I got the 7up to save .60.. The cashier priced it 1.59..i tried to explain it was priced differently, but no price offered even after I explained. Bait and switch? I love this market. Great selection of local products, organic produce, great wine selection. Always friendly staff. They have deli and to go cooked foods and a salad bar. Often they have someone BBQ ing meats out front. They even have a nursery out front. read more

This is my favorite of the chain. Why, you ask? Oh, you didn't? Well I'm telling you anyway. Two reasons: 1)They have a tiny section featuring European international foods. What does that mean? That means Portuguese food, German food, British food, Irish food, and maybe a couple other odds and ends. Now, it's mainly nonperishable stuff, meaning it's either dry, canned, condiments, or junk food. But where the hell else can you pick up a CAN OF SPOTTED DICK and giggle like an 8 year-old while the cashier rolls their eyes? Treacle syrup, H&P steak sauce, custard mix, Yorkshire pudding mix, Treacle sponge pudding, Hobnobs, Tango, etc etc etc. I don't think this stuff could be found anywhere in the vicinity, nor at the other Murphys Markets. It may mostly be junk, but for some reason, the fact that it's another country's junk lends it a certain magical quality. 2)More hot deli meats on sale than any of the other Murphys. Dunno if it's that great, but it's something I'm particular to since I don't have that much time to cook. Aside from that, the Murphys chain is pretty well-stocked in staple items. It's a bit more expensive than, say, Winco, and about on par with Safeway, but it provides better quality food items which are comparable to the co-ops/Wildberries (albeit a slightly smaller selection) without all the hustle and bustle. read more

I really enjoy Murphy's sandwiches but they're rarely made the way I order them which can be very frustrating. For example, I ask for my sandwiches toasted every time and they're only toasted about 50% of the time. If it wasn't as often as it is I wouldn't complain but it's annoying to not have the sandwich made correctly. read more

I live really close to Murphy's, like it takes less than a minute to walk there. The worst thing about living super close to Murphy's is that our fridge is rarely stocked with food, because I can walk outside for a minute and just buy whatever food I want. I'm pretty sure the people that work at this one know my face because I'm there all the time. I often wonder if they judge me for how much beer I buy. As far as I know, they have the best beer prices in town. They also have a good selection of wine. They have an international section, which is killer if you love digestives and Heinz baked beans. They carry local goods, organic veggies, and grassfed beef. I don't really like their hot food case or their deli; the sandwiches and fried chicken are good, but everything else that I've tried leaves something to be desired. I would give this place five stars, but its employees always looks like they just don't want to be there and it is a little over priced. Over all I do like it, excellent beer and wine selection. I wish they had more of a meat selection. I'm a big fan of their international section loved English teas and shortbread cookies which are hard to come by. read more

Produce is sometimes less than super fresh, and the prices can be a little high. However, it's a great little neighborhood store. They carry great meats and nonperishables. Their frozen section is a tad small, but hey you can't have everything! And their wraps are to die for! read more

I have two issues with the Sunny Brae Murphy's Market: (1) I have been overcharged more than three times (e.g., charged regular price for sale items), and (2) More than five times, I have purchased half and half that wasn't expired--and yet spoiled before being open for three days. This has happened with multiple brands, and only at this store. Many times, I have bought five cartons of half and half from WinCo, and the fifth carton was as good as the first. No resolution has been offered. I should also mention that the coconuts in the produce department of this Murphy's Market, though being labeled "fresh", are rather old and moldy. In my opinion, Murphy's is a dishonest company and should be avoided. read more

I adore Murphy's I go in there all the time to buy things seeing how it's right across the street from my house. But I am done with their deli. 7 dollars for a sandwich. It started at 6, I was okay with that then it went up to 6.50 and then 7! I mean your selection isn't even organic and some of the girls attitudes just bug me. Whenever they saw me going in to write a sandwich slip they would eye me like please don't get a sandwich and my husband several times would label a little bit of salt and they would douse the sandwich in salt. We are paying customers. If the deli girls didn't have such bad attitudes we might have kept buying sandwiches but not anymore. read more

Most of the things are over priced. The service is okay in comparison to Wildberries Market Place. The quality and pricing just don't seem reasonable. The deli is a section of this store I steer clear from... their fans are so loud back there you have to yell to order your food. Plus, the food is just okay.
