My experience with Dr. Meadows is she cares for the families because she understands the pets are at the heart of feelings...and it shows how well she leads the business. Anyway, I thought i was going to have to wait the next day for a recommendation for some flea repellant. I was surprised to get a response sooner than the next day. I cannot imagine the stressors can be when helping customers, but they manage to do it. But I think the core reason is they understand the love and they just get it. I came across a mention of Furfield Pet Place on Nextdoor and contacted them to ask for information. Mark got back to me quickly and we set up a meet and greet for the very next day. My dogs did well during the meet and great and Mark gave me a tour as well as answered any questions I had. I felt very comfortable with the information and his home and knew it would be a good fit for my dogs. His prices were also very good and he had me fill out an intake form that also made me feel comfortable that they wanted to know all about my dogs to make sure they were well taken care of when I was gone. Mark sent updates and pictures multiple times per day and I always knew how they were doing. My older dog usually is quite depressed and miserable when boarded and seemed to be doing great! I was set to pick them up the next morning after I got back and I overslept! Mark was very forgiving about that which was also appreciated. I definitely will be using Furfield Pet Place for my pet boarding needs in the future. Another thing I loved is that the front entrance is actually locked, with a doorbell and camera to request entrance. This ensures the safety of the pets, owners, and workers! Once we began checking Kuromi in, the workers assured us that all of the workers have experience in the veterinary field. This reassured us that our baby would be well taken care of not only for day-to-day care, but also incase she got a little spicy or if she were to get hurt. We also really loved that they asked a lot of questions such as if she's comfortable being fed with other pets or if she's more on the anxious side which they accommodated by choosing a more quiet area for her stay. While we were away on our trip, we were sent updates through the app along with pictures about every other day on how Kuromi was doing. These updates definitely helped us relax even more on our trip knowing our baby was well taken care of, getting lots of play time, love, & cuddles! Coming back to pick up Kuromi, we were so thrilled to hear that she did amazing & that the workers loved her so much!! We also learned that one of the trainers recently got a cat & is learning to train cats, so we will definitely look into cat-training once they've implemented that option. The day before my trip I needed to adjust the drop off day and time, and they accommodated my change easily. They also sent me a picture of him and an update within 24 hours of dropping him off. I ended up having to cancel my trip 2 days in. They again adjusted my reservation without trouble. They even left a credit on my account from part of the deposit I put down instead of letting the money go to waste. They were very clear on the terms of agreement. They have showed up every time I asked even when the schedule is full they figured out a way to get me in. They have this great app that sends you notification when the walk is finished. It tells you how far the dogs walked, and the walker makes note of if they went to the bathroom or had treats. They also take pictures of the dogs and send them to you. When I was gone on vacation, it was such a treat to get the emails and text messages and see that my pups were being well taken care of. After a phone conversation, plans were made to start walking our pup. I have to say it's the best thin that has happened to us. We started with the dog walking and now that she is fully vacinated she has started attending day care the and she loves it. Not only is it great for her to socialize with other good does but it also helps her burn a lot of that puppy energy. Everyone that works there has been GREAT. They truly care about your doggie. Super friendly and genuine. Extremely knowledgeable. Over all I'm super happy and hope to co continue to take our pup here for a long time . Update: she is still attending daycare and she loves it. They even picked her up and dripped her off during our vacation. Took real good care of her.
