I called the vet for guidance. The woman I was speaking with was initially helpful. Because I couldn't get in tomorrow, because I can't physically bring them in myself. I now need to buy another dose. The initial person could have offered an appointment. I told the second woman I wanted no interaction with her. I was upset because my cats have to wait a month for their next appointment. However, instead of holding their staff accountable, I was told to go elsewhere because I was upset. THAT isn't ok. It's a nice office and our vet was great. Too bad their staff can disregard customers and their concerns.

I felt very comfortable with Caitlin from the start. The night we went out, Caitlin sent several photos of Coco that helped me relax and enjoy the concert we were attending. I came across a mention of Furfield Pet Place on Nextdoor and contacted them to ask for information. Mark got back to me quickly and we set up a meet and greet for the very next day. My dogs did well during the meet and great and Mark gave me a tour as well as answered any questions I had. I felt very comfortable with the information and his home and knew it would be a good fit for my dogs. His prices were also very good and he had me fill out an intake form that also made me feel comfortable that they wanted to know all about my dogs to make sure they were well taken care of when I was gone. Mark sent updates and pictures multiple times per day and I always knew how they were doing. My older dog usually is quite depressed and miserable when boarded and seemed to be doing great! I was set to pick them up the next morning after I got back and I overslept! Mark was very forgiving about that which was also appreciated. I definitely will be using Furfield Pet Place for my pet boarding needs in the future. My dogs comfort is so important to me and the fact that they clearly felt THAT comfortable speaks volumes to me.

The home environment in addition to the fact that they limit the number of guests was a big selling point. We were nervous at first, not sure how he would react. Mark made us feel so at ease by sending pictures and comments during the time he was there. Buster was so comfortable there he even got up on the sofa with the family just like at home. He can sometimes be a little pouty even if he's left at home for too long. When we returned from our trip, he was his usual perky self. Usually she comes on vacation with me. This time our entire family had to attend a wedding in Hawaii. I did begin a couple of months before the trip getting her and myself used to the establishment and staff. Started off with an introduction to the facility. Went on a tour. Then began bringing her for an hour, then two hours, then four hours and finally a trial overnight stay. Just so she knew I would return. The hotel is definitely luxurious. She did not stay in a kennel cage. I chose the room with the option of having a TV. I wanted her to feel comfortable as close to the way things were at home. Which was $140 a night. The staff especially Samantha were extremely helpful, kind, nice and caring. Never made me feel like I was over doing anything. lol I called and checked on her daily. I received a picture daily. Made me feel relieved, relaxed and allowed me to fully enjoy my vacation. I think she had a great time. She was taken out of her room often to go outside. She even attended daycare. She was excited when I returned. I could tell she had a great time herself. The area is not the greatest but once inside you forget about outside. They have the doors secured by appointment only. I definitely recommend this place 100 percent. Now I have somewhere that I feel I can leave her with without concern.

Bran is our 11-year-old senior who had never been boarded, and Frankie (aka Potato) is our 15-month-old Goldendoodle, so leaving them for almost two weeks was a BIG deal for this fur mama! Before our trip, Jessica, one of the managers, made sure the boys had meet-and-greets, daycare visits, and even an overnight stay so they could become familiar with the staff and the staff could see how they adjusted. I loved that they took these extra steps instead of simply accepting our dogs for boarding. It showed me that the dogs' comfort, happiness, and safety truly come first. Their secure drop-off/pick-up process also gave me peace of mind. During their stay, the boys had potty breaks, daycare, playtime and socialization, and we received daily messages and photos. Seeing them happy while we were away was so reassuring. I was especially worried about Bran because he's our cranky little senior , but the staff clearly knows dogs and how to work with different personalities. Bran and Frankie even shared a suite together, and they did great! After almost two weeks, we picked up two happy, clean, great-smelling pups with no signs of stress. Honestly, I don't think they missed us--they were too busy enjoying their own vacation! A huge thank you to Jessica, Lily, Samantha, and the entire staff for taking such wonderful care of our Bran Muffin and Frankie Potato.
