The girls were thrilled to be remembered by Rita and her crew of devoted groomers and now each of their names are on the tree!" Thank you Rita! Hope your holidays are full of Joy! We highly recommend Rita. Her gentle and patient ways with our very senior dog were so appreciated. Nutmeg always looked and smelled like she was ready to compete in a dog show! And she was not afraid, like she had been with groomers in the past. read more

My 10 yr old Maltipoo Bella is a very social dog who loves being around people. Bella loves to go out shopping or just being in the car but she gets anxious when her mom and dad aren't within eye sight. Because of that I struggle with leaving her with a groomer even if she knows them. Rita is different. Bella doesn't mind going to her. I can now feel at peace leaving her for a few hours knowing she isn't stressed. That is a big deal for me. So thank you Rita. Oh yeah, and she comes home stunning! Best groomer ever! read more

I found Rita by luck. I can't say enough about the quality of work Rita does. She was very attentive to listening to my concerns regarding my Giant Schnauzer puppy, as my pup had medical issues. My pup went in like a bear and came out a diva. Rita spend the time explaining areas of growth my pup made at her 1st grooming experience. We will be back in 8weeks! read more

As of August 2019, Rita is still the best groomer I have found this side if the bay. We got another dog who I wasn't hesitant to bring to the groomer just cuz of how he is (skittish and afraid and super shy) and Rita comes thru with flying colors, giving him the patience and care he needed, he came out a handsome little boy :-) Rita and her crew has been nothing but awesome with the grooming needs of our 2 doggies. read more

I've been taking my mud-loving old English sheepdog, Toby, to see Rita for about a year now. She is the only groomer he has ever been to because she is absolutely amazing. He's a big puppy, about 70ish pounds @just barely a year old and , my sweet little monster, has a bit of anxiety when he goes to the groomer (by "a bit" I mean he completely freaks out and by "anxiety" I mean she usually has to bathe him multiple times because the dryer literally scares the poop out of him ) which I am sure is a lot to handle at times. Rita is so patient and kind and knows exactly how to deal with him. Firm but loving. She goes above and beyond to try to figure out what works for Toby and what will help ease his anxieties. She has been working with him, and me, on how to handle his grooming anxiety and I am so thankful for her! Definitely would recommend Rita for all your big puppy needs! read more

This was our first time going to Simply Grooming because our past groomer's prices kept going up and customer service had gone down. I was very pleased with our experience here. I scheduled online and notified them we could come in last minute if they have cancellations. We filled a cancellation within a week. The staff were very friendly and adhered to all current health regulations at drop off. Most importantly, our dog looked great. We now have a new go to groomer. I highly recommend giving them a try. read more

I got one of my dogs haircut here last week. The price was fair and the haircut looked great. If you need the service, try this local business. read more

I gave only two stars because when I brought my corgi in for a cut and bath in November, my once medium hair pup was now shaved. I was very specific on what I asked Rita to do. You do not shave a Corgi! Definitely not shave a dog in the beginning of Winter! I wanted to try her because she has good reviews but unfortunately she didn't listen to anything I asked for. It's now January and my dogs hair finally is long enough to go get a blow out and trim. Although her hair grew back in the weird shape Rita shaved Her in... I'm going back to where I belong and that's Denise at Claudel's off Merchant...two stars because Rita is nice and her shop is cute. read more

We were referred to Rita because they praised about how talented and patient she was with dogs. We take both of our Giant Schnauzers there and she does not disappoint. She listens to your requests and delivers them. Her work is very meticulous and she's so good with the pups. She along with Mike and staff are super friendly and professional. read more

I am really happy with the cut Rita gave to my black miniature poodle. She looks cuter than ever, and now we can even see her eyes. She gave us exactly the cut we were looking for (she had a pointy shaved snout before that we are growing out). I've already made another appointment. Rita also met us outside wearing a mask, which is very respectful. My puppy seems to like her a lot, too! read more

I contacted Rita last week to inquire on her availability for grooming of my long-haired chihuahua, Diego. He was way overdue for some pampering and with family coming for the holidays, I wasn't sure if I could get him seen very soon. Much to my surprise, she responded very quickly and was able to accommodate us within a few days! She was great with my nervous little guy, who probably did the famous chihuahua shake the whole time. When he was picked up, she made sure we were happy with the cut and asked if there was anything else she could do. He looked great and I am so happy we found her. I would recommend her without hesitation. read more

Excellent! Professional and takes great care with my fur babies. So thankful I found her here on yelp!!

Nice and convenient location. I filled out the online application and got an appointment quickly. My cat did well at this location and they were super nice! She was able to clip his nails very quickly and we were on our way. While we were in the shop they were trimming a little dog, and there were other dogs in the crates. Everything was clean and nice. They had a small seating area, but the animals got the real space - which is how it should be. I will definitely be back! read more

We have a 7 month old male shih tzu. When he was between 4 and 5 month old we brought him to Petco Grooming in Vacaville and all they did is gave him a bath. They said our puppy is growling and might bite. They can not groom him not unless he take a medication or we attend a dog training class. Until then they will not accept him for grooming. We are so frustrated and have not brought our puppy to other groomer, not until my wife's co-worker recommended Rita. We are too concern that our puppy will not be groomed again but wow Rita was able to give him a full groom without a problem. This is the first time our baby fur ball have had a professional groomer service. We are very thankful to Rita. From now on she will be our go to for grooming our puppy. read more

Rita did an amazing job on my 3 Shih Tzu's! They get nervous going to the groomer but they came walking out with tails wagging and didn't seem too upset today. Their cuts are perfect and she listened to and accommodated my individual requests for each one. I won't go anywhere else, I'm so glad to have found her since moving back to Vacaville with my littles! read more

Best Groomer in town! Our dog Ranger is a member of our family and want to make sure that he is always treated with kindness. We have brought him for grooming to Rita for the past couple of years and she takes very good care of him and does excellent work along with her very friendly personality and caring companion for animals. Her new shop at 1110 Marshall St., Ste 1 is convenient, professional and an adorable doggy spa. Would highly recommend her!! read more

Rita does the BEST job with my fat cat Mimi. Not many groomers will take cats, and mine is super fat and fluffy. LOTS of hair. She took the time to brush out her knots instead of just shaving or cutting them. Mimi just got a brush out, cleanup, and nail trim. She also was able to fit in a nail trim for my kitten when I picked up Mimi. She always responds fast and fits me in quickly. I highly recommend this place!!! Not to mention Rita and the staff there are SUPER nice!!! read more
