We just love our new groomer & the freedom in the shop of how instead of being kept in a kennel til we get back to pick Axel up he's just allowed to be roaming around behind the gate till we arrive to get him . Always a consistent groom & done in about an hour or so ! So much less stress on our guy ! We love it here !

I can't say enough great things about Lindsay! My poufs always trot out of the salon looking great and happy. She is also the ONLY groomer who has been able to groom my rescue dog, Stanley (usually requires sedation). The salon is always clean and is in a convenient location. Definitely bring your pup here!

So happy we found Lindsay and Doggie Designs. From the beginning she was easily to get in touch with to make a grooming appointment for our puppy's first grooming session. The shop was very clean and in a nice plaza. Lindsay was very friendly and had awesome customer service. I knew our puppy would be in great hands. We are so happy with the outcome and got exactly what we asked for. We highly recommend Doggie Designs!

I took my 14 year old Bichon Frise to Nicole today. I was so anxious as my dog Sabrina had been going to the same groomer for many years but it became too hard to continue taking her up to Sacramento. Lindsey communicated after hours to help set up my appointment quickly and was very reassuring during our chats. Nicole was warm and welcoming from the start. My dog was finished in 1.5 hours and she looked amazing! Sabrina was not upset when I picked her up and seemed comfortable and content with Nicole! I will be back on a regular basis to see Nicole! Thanks again!

I've been meaning to write this review for a while, but I've been selfishly gatekeeping this gem of a place. After moving from San Francisco to Vacaville, I was worried about finding a new groomer for my Shih Tzu, Cullen. I had been with my previous groomer for years, so the bar was set pretty high. Enter Doggie Designs and the amazing Nicole. Nicole has been grooming Cullen for a while now, and let me tell you, she's the best. Every time Cullen walks out of an appointment, he's looking fresh, cute, and ready to strut his stuff. Nicole has a true talent for grooming and always makes Cullen look like he just walked out of a doggie fashion show. If you're thinking about booking with Nicole, DON'T--because she only has time for me! Just kidding. I was referred to Lindsay by an old colleague of hers. She was able to see us the very same day which was awesome because most places had a one or two week wait. She did a wonderful job with Suzie, our Yorkie/Dachshund mix. The whole experience was quick and efficient and the price was right. I can't recommend Lindsay enough. Lindsey is the only groomer our family dog has been comfortable with. She comes out clean, happy and well groomed. Our dog is prone to getting matted fur, and it can be uncomfortable to have those areas worked on. But Lindsey does it well! Highly recommend! read more

So glad to be able to review this new business and support local businesses. I highly recommend Doggie Designs and especially Ellie, who was my Goldendoodle's groomer! She did an exceptional job with Teddy. She's gentle and compassionate. It's obvious she loves her work and the end results reflect it! Even though I requested something out of the norm, a Mohawk, for my Teddy she compiled with customer's request and I was tickled with it and I believe Ted was too. spoke to Lindsey Anderson over a week before even scheduling my appointment she gave me a business card but didnt really seem interested in talk..very impersonal attitude! Not sure if its because I'm black or what's the problem but she seemed to treat me like a was second classes I wouldn't say that's exactly professional. Upon arrival to my appointment they were not ready or prepared for my dog didnt know who I was even after giving my name looked at me like we didn't even belong in that shop. Rude!! She began criticizing how nervous my dog was acting which is normal because my animal doesn't know the place clearly it was his first time there. After waiting almost 20 minutes in total I came back paid to be told my dog also needs a decent grooming even though I explained to her hes been groomed at another groomer he is just fine. I want my dogs hair to grow out and I'll gladly wash him at home but that's my business! Very awkward experience in total mainly based on my race and what I look like compared to the rest of her clients. I'm good I'll pass on this place once was enough! Only thing good was the price to get my dog expressed and other groomers charge the exact same amount. I'll go where I'm treated with respect. read more

We took our dog to Lindsay today to get groomed. Our dog is a 7 yr old German Shepard we got from the shelter a few years ago. She's super sweet but gets nervous in new situations. Lindsay not only made her look great but more importantly, our dog was happy when we picked her up. We'll definitely be taking her back when she needs to groomed again!!! Nicole was great, we brought in 3 of our goldens and they came back perfectly trimmed and clean. I love that they hand dry the dogs and don't crate them if they are good with other dogs. Usually my dogs are pretty stressed coming home from the groomers, but here they can play with they other dogs and walk around at will. I highly recommend her and Doggie Designs for the hyper-sensitive dog parents! read more
