The smaller sizer equates to a very full house when inside shopping, getting eats, or using the extremely clean bathrooms. When we came through it was on a weekday and not one of the busier weekends. SO many people in such a small space and it's like bumper cars weaving their way through a maze of humans. Then bathrooms are smaller, but still very well kept and clean. The products are all the same, a lot with their signature logo. They have the bbq section, deli, sandwiches, pre made snacks, cookies, and all of the paraphernalia that is Buc-ee's. Gas is usually fairly inexpensive as well. Great place, just smaller, so be prepared to dodge some folks not only in the parking lot, but also in the store.

Never have we seen such a quick and downhill decline. They have people smoking meth in the bathrooms and shooting heroin out back against the wall. There are used needles on the ground. They have the floor covered in packages that they haven't unboxed and have pallets just blocking main entrances as fire hazards. One of the grossest and nastiest stores I been to in north Texas. The soda fountains either are covered in soda syrup or they don't work at all. Then if we do ask them to look for something they didn't manage to stock they get mad at us like we are the problem for trying to spend our money at their location. Most of the times it's basics like cups and lids. Most of the coffee cups are never stocked, from small to large. We are lucky if creamer is out, and if anyone asks they are treated like an idiot. The way people snap on customers and the fact the store is in business still is crazy to me. Then the icing on the cake, the white girl covered in tattoos with brown hair has had a worse and worse attitude every single time we come in as a family. We drew the line today when she was rude to us and called a customer racist while screaming at him and threatening him with the cops. It was unprofessional to say the least and we say her get other employees to harass the girl he came in about who left crying. The fact all of this is going on is completely insane. I feel like this location even if it did clean up everything has been so tarnished by its reputation. And the fact that all of the good employees are gone shows you that the employees run the store not the managers. If I could rate this lower than one star I would. I won't bring my kids back here again. I have lost faith in Racetrac as a brand but not in God. I really do hope people review this before they work there. We have been Racetrac customers as a family ever since we moved into our house off Buckland since it's always been a short walk until the heat hit. Now after all of this we are sad to leave but realize QuickTrip is only a short car ride and they keep the stores in nice conditions than drug addicts in the bathroom.

Then they told us they were tied, but they were not tied balloons, and then when we brought the balloons and took them out of the bag, they all went up high in the ceiling. The next day I stopped in for a gift card and used self-checkout, as I always do, for a debit transaction. The machine allows it. An older employee stepped into my personal space and started telling me what to do. I made clear I didn't need help; he ignored that and took over the machine himself. Self-checkout plainly supports debit purchases, including adding funds to a video game gift card, the system wouldn't offer it otherwise. it's not some random employees decision, the self checkout doesn't matter...If staff understood their own equipment, that interaction wouldn't have happened. I'd rather see the team focused on keeping the store in order than on directing customers who are managing fine on their own.

And it was on sale for $35 instead of $50! Note on my purchase: the posable Elf on a Shelf is slightly bigger than the original so putting on clothing items is a little bit of a struggle. This store had a huge parking lot and was easy to get in/out. The checkout line was super short so I was able to be in my way quickly. Cashier was very friendly. I would definitely shop here again if in the area.

This is the worst treatment I have ever experienced as a customer. During my interaction with Valerie, she was extremely arrogant, hostile, and completely unprofessional. To make matters worse, she escalated her abusive behavior by directly insulting me in Spanish, calling me a "pendejo" to my face. Furthermore, I had a cart fully loaded with two hundred dollars worth of groceries, but I was unable to complete my purchase because Valerie, as the manager on duty, refused to assist me or address the situation. This level of disrespect, verbal abuse, and utter lack of professionalism from someone in a management position is completely unacceptable. First, let me say this is kind of a "divey" gas station, and it's just my style. Like I said, there's a phenomenal taco shop inside (see my review for Del Sur Tacos). So I usually grab a fountain drink to have with my tacos. They have giant fountain drinks for $2 or so, and they have a great beer and wine selection as well. I'm not sure if you can drink beer inside, though. They also have a bunch of automotive stuff like oil and such, and you can get your fill of scratch-off and lottery tickets, or blunt wraps if you fancy. :D Best of all, they take Apple Pay! They're with it. So definitely stop by, fill up your vehicle, grab some tacos, and a six pack all in one shot.
