We recently held a service for my mother in law. And from start to finish, we were extremely impressed with the work, process, communication and services provided. If i could give 6 stars, I would. Thank you Jonathan at Murphy and Sons.

Murphy & Sons displayed exceptional professionalism, care and attention to detail. From the first meeting to the service, Jonathan and Edward were extremely approachable, empathetic to the situation, timely and professional. My mother was buried with every detail we requested and they both made sure we knew she was well taken care of. I never wanted to go through this as nobody does, but Murphy and Sons brought a peace that cannot adequately be described in words. At the burial service, they presented flower for each attendee to lay on the casket and lay final respects, which was a beautiful and very meaningful moment. I can highly recommend Murphy and Sons for any needs you may have.

After the pickup we were told that a representative would reach out to us the following day so we could start making arrangements. They didn't call till 3 days later even after leaving them multiple messages! Imagine not knowing what's happening to your loved one or where they are located after they died. Our assigned rep only called AFTER I switched to Anubis Cremations and had arrangements for the body to be brought to their facilities. Wesleigh was so easy to work with. She picked up my call right away and took care of everything. She communicated every step of the way. I told her that my uncle who is a priest will be arriving in 2 weeks and we would like for the cremation and memorial service to happen while he was here. She mentioned that it's a very tight schedule but she would try to make it happen. And she 100% delivered!!! Within an hour of my initial call she had my auntie's body arranged for pickup, she sent paperwork to us and the doctor so she could start the process of filing the death certificate. The church where we wanted the memorial service wouldn't let us reserve a time till they had a cremation date. We were able to get the cremation date within a few days. We opted for a private open viewing at the crematory in Van Nuys. The crematory only does night time viewing which worked well for us since our family is busy working during the day. Wesleigh's coworker Jonathan took great care of us at the viewing. The place had a room for up to 15 people where family members could sit with the casket prior to the cremation. They dressed our auntie in her formal barong and jewelry. We were allowed to provide flowers, letters, and mementoes in the cardboard casket. Jonathan gave us sharpies so we could write notes on the casket. There were aslo tissues and an easel for our use. Although the viewing was technically 15 minutes, we were not rushed and were given about 20-25 minutes to do a prayer service and say our goodbyes. And then Jonathan and another employee wheeled her into the crematory. We watched them place her casket in the "oven" and once the door closed we left. They even allowed us to live stream the entire time we were there to our auntie's relatives back in the Philippines. The following day Wesleigh delivered the ashes to the church and she provided the letters and instructions we needed to bring the ashes back to the Philippines. We were also very happy with the urn we ordered from Anubis. It was engraved and had a photo of our auntie. It was perfect. I can't thank Wesleigh and Jonathan enough for providing an outstanding service that was stress-free, efficient, compassionate, and super professional during this difficult time of grief. I whole-heartedly recommend Annubis.

Wanting to be prepared, I called Allay in advance so I wouldn't feel rushed or overwhelmed when the time came. From my very first conversation with Allay, I knew I had found the right place. Everyone I spoke with was compassionate, patient, and genuinely kind. They never treated our family like just another case--they always acknowledged our loss, expressed their sincere sympathy, and answered every question with care. Simply knowing what to expect brought an incredible sense of comfort during such an uncertain and emotional time. After my mother passed away, Allay arrived at our home very quickly (within about two hours) and handled her with the utmost dignity, gentleness, and respect. That meant more to our family than words can express. Josh was exceptional throughout the entire process. He kept me informed every step of the way, from the death certificate paperwork to the timeline for my mother's cremation. He also coordinated the delivery of her ashes, allowing us to choose a day and time that gave our family the opportunity to emotionally prepare and be together when she returned home. That thoughtfulness made an incredibly difficult moment much more peaceful. Losing a loved one is one of life's hardest experiences, but Allay Cremation removed so much of the stress and uncertainty from the process. Their professionalism, compassion, and attention to every detail allowed our family to focus on what truly mattered--honoring my mother and supporting one another. If you are searching for cremation services, let me first say how sorry I am that you are facing this loss. I wholeheartedly recommend Allay Cremation. They cared for my mother with dignity and treated our family with kindness and compassion every step of the way. I will always be grateful for the care they provided during one of the most difficult times of our lives.

I definitely would recommend this company for anyone looking to avoid the trauma from pushy sales people one can sometimes run across in end of life arrangements and generic "package deals" that include things that you don't need or want and/or leave out important details you do want. Their pricing is transparent and their service is custom and caring. Five stars.

When my father-in-law passed away in Orange County, our wish was to bring him back to his homeland, Iran, to be laid to rest in his hometown. Pierre helped us from the very beginning with incredible kindness, compassion, and respect. He quickly arranged transportation from Orange County to their facility in Los Angeles and made sure my father-in-law was treated with dignity and care. For the remainder of the process, I worked primarily with Vahik, who handled the extremely complicated international arrangements, permits, documentation, and transportation. Communication was always clear and transparent, and we knew what to expect every step of the way. When political developments unexpectedly suspended flights into Iran while the journey was already underway, Vahik and the team did not give up. They coordinated new documentation in Turkey, found an alternative route to an airport near the Iranian border, and arranged ground transportation so our family could receive my father-in-law and finally bring him to his hometown. During one of the hardest times in our lives, they took an enormous burden off our family. Their compassion, professionalism, communication, and determination to find a solution were truly exceptional. Most importantly, they helped us fulfill our final wish for our loved one and bring him home with dignity. Our family will always be grateful to Pierre, Vahik, and everyone at Always There Funeral Services. I highly recommend them, especially to any family facing the difficult process of international transportation and repatriation of a loved one.

Again, shameful on your part is the assumption that your office was the only one that would assist us. We knew from the time we contacted your office what we had planned for my mother. Once my husband, uncle and cousin informed your office that we would not be using your services it was told to them NUMEROUS times that our "deposit" was non refundable. So again, it's the money that mattered. Your office would not answer the phone when the other facility that we decided to use attempted to call for transport and when your office FINALLY did answer the phone they were put on hold and then hung up on. My husband and uncle returned only to find the doors of your office locked, then they waited there until someone opened the door and answered the phone to coordinate the transport of my mother. You should be ashamed for the vengeful hoops that you made our family jump through to obtain my mothers body. Not only did you give false information in your spiteful reply to my review, you also made the worst time for our family all the much harder. My review is not the only one that had a terrible experience and again if we could give zero stars we would!! I pray that anyone needed services will seek assistance elsewhere! Funny how you didn't respond to the other bad review which was only 2 months ago, but you have a mouthful for mine. My mother is being given the dignity she deserves since she is no longer in your care.
