Fresh brightly toned highlights, demensional color, and a crisp sexy cut was the perfect remedy. Best of all, she developed a real-life strategy with me for salon and home upkeep that won't put me back in the chair every other weekend! No one has time for that... From consult to execution, she's a pro. I can't remember the last time I walked out of a salon with my exact desired result. Thank you Geselle!

She did my hair and makeup…read morefor both the Rehearsal Dinner/Welcome Party and the wedding day, and calling her amazing would be an understatement. From our very first conversation, I knew she was going to be perfect! She was a genuine pleasure to work with from start to finish, and her care for her brides really comes through in everything she does! I can't stress that enough! It wasn't just my experience that was incredible, either. The team she brought in for the wedding day was wonderful too. With 15 women needing hair and makeup done (30 services total!), I of course expected some chaos, but everything ran smoothly and right on schedule. Every single person walked away thrilled with how they looked!! If you're looking for a hair and makeup artist and team for your wedding, Ashley is hands down the best choice you could make!! 10/10!!

I couldn't be happier with Ashley and her team! From the moment we met during our trial, she was…read morewarm, inviting, and had such a calming presence. She opened the door for feedback very early on to make sure I felt comfortable with making any tweaks to my hair and makeup. I wore extensions for the first time ever during my trial for the wedding. She understood exactly how to work with my hair (that hardly ever holds a curl) to extend the life of the curls over a long period of time. My makeup was perfect. I couldn't have asked for anything more. I wanted it to feel warm, but not glammy. I wanted to enhance my natural features and feel like "me." She pushed me a little outside of my comfort zone with a tone of lipstick during the trial that I ended up LOVING and it went so well with my dress, so we went for that color and it looked fantastic in all of the photos. Most importantly, on the wedding day, Ashley and her team were the first ones there setting up, and she was such a calming presence throughout the morning and helped make getting ready so much fun. Thank you so much, Ashley and team!

The shop is clean, in a high end shopping area, and nicely decorated. It never smells like strong chemicals. I have always had an aversion to having my hair cut, about as welcome as a dental appointment. I have been used to barbers and hair stylists who do not listen to me and cut my hair too short. Marina knows exactly how I like mine and has eliminated the anxiety of going in, fearful I will be very unhappy when I see things from my own mirror. I am always consistently appreciative of her work. She has been especially creative as I have become a senior and do not have the long and thick hair of my youth.

But Jen Blondeau has consistently given me the best haircuts and color I've ever had. I was referred to her by two different people about five years ago, and I haven't even thought about going to anyone else since. Jen is a true artist--she understands hair on a technical and creative level that's rare to find. She listens, collaborates, and somehow always nails exactly what I want (even when I'm not entirely sure what that is!). I tell all my friends about her, and no joke, I get stopped at least once a week by strangers asking who does my hair. That's how good she is. Beyond her talent, Jen is a total pro--punctual, focused, and easy to spend a couple of hours with. Her salon, Willow and Wolfe in Capitola, is a laid-back yet chic space that feels like a little retreat every time I go. I absolutely love the whole vibe--and I love my hair even more. Highly, highly recommend.
