As for the pedals being dangerously on the same plane, well, it was due my lackadaisical foot placement that was causing me to sometimes press both when braking, or my clown shoes, but needless to say nothing again needed repairing. The shop also installed a Terrafirma spare tire carrier that turned out to take much longer than their estimate, however, they did not pass along the additional cost to me upon completion, which was done very expertly.
