This is not the auto shop for minor repairs or for people who have to watch their budget. My car stopped. I thought it was my alternator. The battery didn't seem to be holding a charge. I had taken out and had it tested and the auto parts place had told me I needed a new alternator. I had Pheonix come and get it. They were quick and responsive and all I needed was a new battery that ended up costing me 782 dollars after towing and the 149 dollar diagnostic. I would use them again for any MAJOR issue, but I'll never return for anything I even suspect is a minor repair. Nearly a thousand bucks for a battery seems excessive.

Had seen reviews and Essy seemed widely respected. Gave him a call. He answered and I asked if he could fit me in. He apologized that he couldn't because he was at his daughter's graduation that day but that if I called back Monday he'd see if he could fit me in. I ultimately found another shop nearby that also had good reviews with immediate availability and it was a good experience, but just wanted to say how much I admired Essy answering my call. I felt like he did in case it was an emergency repair situation (it obviously wasn't), which definitely reflects what his customers say about him. And to apologize about his availability bc he was attending a major event for his loved one... being gracious and generous is definitely in his nature. So just wanted to share that :-)

Went in to get brake pads for an emergency road trip. These people were not aware that I had…read morepreviously visited a REPUTABLE brake shop and paid for a diagnostic that told me exactly what I needed replace. I, thinking I was being smart, decided to go this little hut to get exactly what I needed done for around $200 less. NEVER try to cheap your way out of these things. ANTONIO proceeded to do the slick-talking, overaccommodating act/routine I've gotten used to from certain Nashville men WHILE telling me 6 other issues about my brakes/tires have in his FREE diagnostic that did not show up in the PAID diagnostic I had done 3 days before. I asked him to keep the service to only my brakes and rotors. I wait 5 hours on the repair (that I allegedly had an appointment for) only to find out once I'm already out of town that only the pads were replaced after ANTONIO talked and talked talked about how "good" of a deal he was cutting me. THEN TO TOP IT ALL OFF MY BRAKES SOUNDED EVEN WORSE THAN BEFORE. MY BRAKES WENT FROM A CUTE LITTLE WINCE ON SLOWDOWN, TO AND OBNOXIOUS SCREECH EVERY TIME I TAP THE BRAKE PEDAL. I get one of those silly "how'd we do?" emails, so I decided to share my experience. Some guy named MILES (a general manager or something I guess) called me INSTANTLY attempting to laugh and joke with me and set me a new appointment to make it right. Appointment back with ANTONIO, who has dropped his whole smooth-talking, accommodating routine now. I can only assume that it had something to do with MILES reaching out to him. My appointment is set for their open time, so I am the first one in the parking lot. Some guy in a U-Haul truck pulls in and ANTONIO proceeds to let him jump in front of me, turns the act back on, and gives him full assistance. I wait patiently still, because I would like the opportunity to get my car to stop sounding like a clown car everywhere I go. When it's finally "my turn" again, he takes a full-length phone call, does not put them on hold or try to call them back once my APPOINTMENT is taken care of, then proceeds to hand me a printout of the exact same receipt I already had. I reached out to MILES once more to let him know that iis re-scheduling-the-appointment method did not go well at all. MILES, who originally feigned the same disingenuous spirit of accomodation, stops responding altogether. I URGE YOU, UNLESS YOU'RE DOWN YOUR LAST FEW DOLLARS, JUST GO TO A REAL BRAKE SHOP AND PAY FOR QUALITY PARTS, SERVICE, AND EMPLOYEES. AND EVEN IF YOU'RE DOWN TO YOUR LAST FEW DOLLARS, JUST CATCH A BUS OR UBER UNTIL YOU CAN PAY FOR REAL PARTS AND SERVICE. MY MONEY IS DOWN THE DRAIN AND MY CAR SOUNDS WORSE ALL BECAUSE I DIDN'T WANT TO GIVE THE REPUTABLE PEOPLE $400. PLEASE LEARN FROM ME!!!
