Definitely the best murder mystery show we have ever been to. Really cool western saloon set up. Our servers were fantastic. The food is basic large group fare, not my favorite, but the chicken was juicy and that's not always easy to accomplish.

The "murder " was very entertaining and enjoyable. Lots of interaction with the audience. The pre show was just as good as the main event. Food was fine half roasted chicken Cole slaw and Mac and cheese, with apple tart and ice cream for dessert! The wait staff was awesome so attentive and very friendly. This was our second time and will go back again next year!!

We had a lot of fun at the show. It was funny and entertaining. 2 Gun Sally was the star of the show - she has a beautiful voice!! The food was good and there was plenty of it. The audience participation was fun. We would highly recommend!

This is a brand new dinner show - just opened this week. It is a pretty intimate space - probably seats 75-100 people. They have lots of specialty drinks and a full bar. The wait staff and bartender do a great job - the cast is really good and the food is good. You definitely want to get there a bit early as they started serving food during the pre-show. My only complaint is there was a bit of down time between the entree and the dessert and waiting for the conclusion of the show. We were there from 5 until 8. It is geared a bit more towards teens to adults rather than young kids. Overall I would recommend!

Best murder mystery dinner we've been to anywhere in the country from the food to the talent. Highly recommend for a night of great food, service, and fun!

Went there tonight. We actually left before it was over. Not many clues were given. The singer Sally sounded horrible. Waste of money

Staff is friendly, prices good, sound and lights good and the bands that we have seen are amazing and entertaining. This particular time we saw Head Games - A Tribute to Foreigner. Disappointing VIP Experience - House of Blues Myrtle Beach…read more I attended an event on October 10, 2026, after purchasing a $200 VIP table for four directly through House of Blues. My confirmation explicitly stated, "You will be entering the venue through our Priority Entry Line." We arrived around 8:45 p.m. to find the line wrapped around the building. When I asked about priority entry, multiple employees insisted there was no such line. One gentleman was particularly rude and condescending, stating there were approximately 400 VIP guests and "everybody's VIP," despite my showing him the written confirmation. Another employee, Mike, eventually approached and sarcastically stated, "We're just trying to help you out here." I explained that I wasn't asking for a favor. I had paid for a service that House of Blues explicitly advertised. The most disappointing part of the evening was being treated so rudely and dismissively simply for expecting the services I purchased. It set an incredibly negative tone before we even entered the venue. Once inside, Ian, who had originally assisted with my reservation, was apologetic, personally escorted us to our table, and checked on us throughout the evening. I sincerely appreciated his professionalism. Unfortunately, we then waited approximately 20-25 minutes without a server. I eventually located Faith, who, once notified, provided excellent, attentive service for the remainder of the evening. She deserves recognition as well. Additionally, the VIP area was poorly maintained. Guests crossed the ropes, leaned against our chairs, and crowded our table so closely that I could barely move my chair or comfortably get up to dance. While Ian offered complimentary shots as a gesture of goodwill, the overall VIP experience fell far short of expectations. This review reflects my experience with House of Blues as a venue, not the R&B ONLY event itself. I enjoyed the event, but the treatment upon arrival and lack of enforcement of the VIP seating area left me with little desire to return. Premium services should be delivered as advertised, without customers having to repeatedly advocate for what they've already paid for.

Pirates Voyage is a small chain of American dinner theaters that opened in Myrtle Beach, South…read moreCarolina in June 2011. It was founded by the late American singer-songwriter, actress, and businesswoman Dolly Parton. It is managed by World Choice Investments LLC, a joint venture between The Dollywood Company, Fred Hardwick, and Herschend. From 1992 - 2018, the dinner theater in Myrtle Beach was home to Dolly Parton's "Dixie Stampede". In late 2018, Parton announced that the theater would be closed for refurbishment and converted into a family-friendly pirate-themed dinner show. The brand new show was designed to feature Blackbeard the pirate, a 15-foot deep 750,000 gallon pool, theatrical lighting, and rigging for acrobats. It opened to much acclaim and even features Christmas elements throughout the November and December show season. A second location opened in Pigeon Forge (TN) in May 2019, and a third opened in Panama City Beach (FL) in June 2025. My family and I recently dined at the Pirates Voyage in Myrtle Beach while we were staying in town for a few days. We had previously visited a few years back and loved it. It's essentially the pirate equivalent of "Medieval Times", but BETER! We arrived early for the pre-show, which featured a pirate sing-along with some briny buccaneers, acrobatics, and a photo opportunity with a mermaid. I enjoyed a non-alcoholic piña colada in a souvenir skull mug. For the main show, spectators are seated in areas where they must root for the sapphire pirates or the crimson pirates. We were seated in the latter section. The show features sword-fighting swashbucklers, mermaids, ghost pirates, music, special effects, acrobatics, and even live animals such as sea lions, dogs, and macaws. For Course 1, attendees are served "Voyager Creamy Vegetable Soup w/ a Buccaneer Biscuit". Course 2 features "Half O'Roasted Chicken, Swashbucklin' Sugar-Cured Ham, Cob O'Butter Corn & Matey's Mac 'N' Cheese". Dessert is a choice of "Chocolate Coconut Cake" or "Apple O' Me Eye Pie". There's nothing particularly special about the food, but I think it's safe to say that most people come for the exciting show and not for the food. Pirates Voyage is plenty of swashbuckling fun for the whole family and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Myrtle Beach!

So after carrying her across a couple football field lengths of parking lots the people at the door were extremely rude and told us we could not come in with her seat. I will never come back to this overpriced dinner show again, save your money and do something else with your kids. If you have kids that are young don't even waste your time.

I received the tomato bisque, garlic bread, hummus with carrots, celery sticks and 4 pita slices. Then a stew with rice, beans, potatoes, and a packet of hot sauce. The stew would have been better with sriracha. But the hot sauce added was good and needed for more flavor. Again, IMO. I saved my pita bread slices for the stew. So that helped too, BUT, saltine crackers would have been bomb. The entertainment was so fun and enjoyable. The service was great. I feel bad I didn't remember our guys name.
