My friend said she had a good meal here 10 years ago so we decided to try it again. Typical touristy place with food that "fills the hole" as my husband says about food that just satisfies hunger but is just ok. The best item was their perfect margarita. It was good but $14. I got the fish and chips ($23) and my fries were barely warm. I did point it out to the waitress and she brought newer ones... still not crunchy or hot.... but a bit warmer. My friend got the chicken stir fry which the waitress had warned her it was spicy... it wasn't AT ALL. In fact, it was sweet. There was only a tiny bit of rice. We were both disappointed. There were girls on stilts making balloon animals. One girl was in a skirt and I thought that was tacky since folks could likely look up her skirt. At the end, the waitress asked us to please give her a good Google review so that she could get a free T-shirt and handed us a QR code to scan. Businesses are basically bribing their customers or employees when they do stuff like this and skew their ratings. This skews the review from being honest as the customer feels like they should "do their server a solid" by giving a good rating or by not wanting to affect their job. It seems I've heard of this happening more often with Google reviews - that's one reason I don't trust Google reviews. Yelp is more honest IMO.

Came to Myrtle for the day and walked all over Broadway and decided to stop here grab some late lunch before heading home. It was prob last couple calmer days before spring crowds come hit the area and not as slammed busy which I was happy for. Lucy was our waitress and she was very sweet and helpful. We were seated as soon as we walked in. It was around 2 pm and a beautiful warm day. They had not opened outdoor seating yet but we got a great view by window. I recall seeing the hurricane thing before but still very cool to see if come down and fill the blender lol.. my son got a burger and cooked to perfection he said. I got the coconut shrimp and boy they were huge! Half size of my hand!! Very flavorful! Came with a spicy sweet dipping sauce I couldn't get enough of! Lucy came by frequently to make sure our drinks were full and we were happy with our choices. We had very nice visit today .

Margaritaville Myrtle Beach SC 3-2-25 We had to try this one and it did not disappoint. We arrived on a Sunday around 12:15pm and this place was just about full, but we got seated right away. I love the decor and it had such a great vibe with Jimmy Buffet music playing in the background. Our waiter Joesph was fast to get our drinks. I ordered the Chipotle Steak Bowl with extra Steak and my wife got the Beach Club with Fries. Our food came our fast enough and it looked amazing. My Steak Bowl was hot and very tasty and plenty of Steak in it which was done to perfection. My wife's Beach Club was huge and very good, her Fries were terrific. We had to get a to go box as we could not eat all of it. I must give this place a 5 out of 5 stars because of the tasty food great atmosphere and good service. I can't wait to go back. The food was delicious. I had the Jerk salmon. It was cooked so well and the glaze was spectacular. Paired with some rice and good greens (spinach) it was a fresh taste. The service was excellent and the ambiance was such a treat. Good vibes overall and good food 8/10.

Solid first experience. Our server, Dustin, was very friendly and kept up with us well. The food was delicious. My wife, accordingly, had a "Cheeseburger in Paradise" and I had the grilled Mahi tacos. Both were great. I appreciated the calories on the menu as well. The interior of the restaurant was interesting to look at. Had a very cool moving "hurricane" on the ceiling. There was also a girl walking around on stilts making balloon sculptures for the kids. Overall, we were very pleased and will definitely consider returning on another visit.

First off sit at the bar! Have Slick make your margaritas! Best Ive had in 20 years, and so needed on this hot and humid day at the corvette show. We had egg rolls, chicken quesadilla, and a platter with a little bit of everything. I will say food was not that great. Quality nor taste. I would definitely came back for the margaritas though. Slick gets 5 starts for sure, and bathrooms were nice and clean. We got there right at 11am.

We came on vacation with my grandparents and we had to wait 30 minutes for a table on a Thursday at 1pm. Then once seated a server didn't come for 12 more minutes. No introduction nor friendliness. All the tables around us were dirty and not cleaned. No music playing the restaurant and if it was it was much too quiet. Very disappointed in the value for the food and the photos of the food for the menu should be updated to accurately show the food being served. Nachos were very bare when you got off the top layer.

We were here off season in late February and the restaurant was short handed. Jack our server was very busy. Jack was helpful and friendly. It took a long time to get our food. We all loved the Cajun Shrimp Dip and Jack brought us some extra bread so everyone could try it. The Appetizer Trio was over cooked. My wife liked the Hot Honey Chicken sandwich which had a delicious sweet & spicy sauce. The Grilled Fish Tacos were tasty but the rice was too hard to eat. The chicken in the Pacific Chicken Stir Fry was tender and had sweet Szechuan flavor unfortunately this rice was also too hard to eat. The kids loved their fruity Island Coconut Refresher mocktails. The 5OClock Somewhere drink was strong and it had a yummy complex taste. The ambiance was subdued because the hurricane blender is still broken.

I was excited to visit Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville for the first time while in Myrtle beach, but the food was honestly subpar. I understand that the visit might be just for the experience, but even that was a let down. It seemed so tacky, and their biggest attraction is a hurricane that drops tequila into a blender. The food was not great, we ordered the nachos, which looks grand but was so dry, and they didn't layer the toppings into the chips. I also ordered their appetizer trio that came with Tex mex eggrolls which were dry, chicken tenders that I could've made myself at home and more chips to go with the dip. The service was very good, and attentive, but overall, so overpriced for not wonderful food. You'll be spending at least $50 for a not very wonderful experience, when you could be spending that elsewhere. My advice, walk in to watch their "hurricane" for pics and walk right back out!

While vacationing near MB, my kids and their friends wanted to go to Broadway at the beach and insisted we go to margaritavile. We waited a little over an hour for our table. It was quite crowded. The hosts all seem to be annoyed. Our server, however, was wonderful! I wish I had gotten her name! She was so polite, sweet and attentive! Our water cups never ran dry! For appetizers we had the chicken quesadilla and the friend pickles. Both were good and came out promptly. We proceeded to wait over 30 min for our main meal. The food was just ok. I asked for my burger medium and it definitely rare! The fries were just ok. Everyone's means were fine, nothing to write home about but we weren't expecting gourmet. The restaurant has a lot going on, definitely sensory overload! We were happy to be in the outside enclosure. We went once, and I don't know that we would go back.

The Key lime pie martini was to die for!

My wife heard about Coastal Vino via a FB group called Pelowinos and we figured we'd stop in for a drink. We are wine drinkers with fair to good knowledge about wine and were immediately impressed by the convivial and knowledgeable owner and master-of-ceremonies, David Coy. This is a wine shop/bar. When we arrived, there were friendly patrons at the few outside tables who pegged us for tourists (non-regulars) and made sure to point us to David inside. It was busy but we were able to get stools at the small bar. David asked us about our preferences and explained pricing and how one buys the bottle vs individual glasses to drink in-shop. Fellow patrons were very complimentary of the owner's knowledge and recommendations so we decided to let him choose a red for us. He chose an excellent Spanish old-vine garnacha. Perfect choice for us and we sat happily chatting with his friendly customers. The environment was part Cheers (but with wine) and part speak-easy. People were surprised that we stumbled upon this place and teased David about his store's countrywide reach. It was very friendly and welcoming considering many were regulars and local. Very fun and what a wine bar should be. Needless to say, we left with 3 bottles, two opened (which is allowed) and one recommendation that we decided to carry home. As a wine shop, it is well curated. You will not see the "plonk" that fills most other shops (and largely pays the bills). What you will find is a wine lover's oasis with quality selections from storied wine regions and some little known gems that David is happy to key you in on. As an aficionado of wine shops, I could easily tell I would like Coastal Vino and having a guy like David in your back pocket for recommendations is golden! I wish I was local because I would be there every week. If you are in the greater Myrtle Beach area, this is a great place to find fellow wine lovers and good bottles. Bottles seemed to be $20 and up. This isn't Total Wine ( thank God). This is a place for aficionados and aspiring wine lovers who understand that well made wine doesn't have to be expensive but isn't cheap. Coastal Vino strikes just that balance in an area ripe with possibilities. If you visit once, you will visit often. Cheers to David and his lively patrons!

This guy is on another level. From the moment we sat down, Nick's energy, knowledge, and genuine passion for hospitality set the tone for the entire evening. He wasn't just taking our order -- he was curating an experience. Now let's talk about the Cacio e Pepe -- insanely good doesn't even begin to cover it. It was perfectly executed: silky, bold, with just the right bite of pepper. Classic done right. But you know what made it taste even better? Nick. He recommended it with such confidence and enthusiasm that we had to order it, and he absolutely delivered. Nick was attentive without being overbearing, knowledgeable without being pretentious, and just an all-around fantastic human being. He made us feel like VIP guests from start to finish -- checking in at exactly the right moments, offering spot-on suggestions, and keeping the whole experience flowing effortlessly. In general, the food was good and the staff was friendly. During my two-day visit I had two meals there. Tried the Grilled Tiger Prawns, Soutzoukakia, Beet Salad, Maroulsalata, Pastichio and Spanakorizo. 1. The tiger prawns came with four pieces. Tasted fresh but a bit too salty for me. 2. Soutzoukakia was basically lamb and beef meatballs. Compared to Kofta in Middle Eastern cuisine, these had more flavors from meat but less from other ingredients. Served over tomato sauce. 3. Beet salad had generous amount of beets, but the arugula tasted just-out-of-fridge; it was very cold and crispy, lacking the flavor of fresh arugula. 4. Maroulsalata was a salad with chopped (green) romaine, green onions, dill, crumbled feta and lemon+EVOO dressing. A light dish perfect for pairing with their meats or (heavy) pastas. 5. Pastichio, the Greek style Lasagna, is a classical. It was my first time to try it and it tasted fantastic. It was an ~4 inch square piece of layers of hollow pasta topped with ground beef, a thick layer of bechamel, and topped with graviera cheese. Unlike meat sauce, the ground beef was "dry", but this was OKay because the bechamel would smoothen everything. In general rich in flavor and creamy and definitely filling. 6. Spanakorizo was like risotto or porridge but perhaps had even more liquid. It had Arborio rice, spinach, herbs and Kefalograviera cheese. The staff were friendly. They recognized me when I had my second meal there, answered my questions about the menu patiently, and explained to me about their tips (I will discuss this below). The dishes were served in reasonable time. The vibe was definitely at the higher end among the restaurants in Myrtle Beach; plus it was not crowded at all. Despite the good food, you should be careful about the tip. Their suggested tip percentages are calculated based on the taxed price; e.g. if you select the suggested 18% you are actually tipping more than that.
