The owner made such an impression the first time we always come back to laugh and sample. Her name is Anna from Ukraine, and is quick to tell you "I know what you like". She was vibrant and knowledgeable about the wines we tried. The tasting was inexpensive. You get to sample 7 wines for $6. They start from dry all the way to sweet! My favorite was Summer Nights (Black Mango). It's semi-dry. Honestly, all the wines had a great taste! I am not too big on sweet wines but the taste of them was truly pleasing! Every pour had its own personality, from sweet and tropical to crisp and refreshing. And of course, like most wineries these days, they also offer wine slushies -- and yes, I absolutely got one. The winery has a large property with plenty of space to explore, including what appears to be a small farm with chickens and pigs. On a warm day, the outdoor seating areas with games would likely make for a lovely experience. However, when it came to the wine tasting, the samples were served in plastic cups, which some may actually prefer. But for us, it took away from the overall experience. And most importantly, the wines themselves just didn't impress our palates. We tried a variety of their offerings, but nothing really stood out or compelled us to purchase a bottle to take home. It's a shame, because the setting is really quite nice. But at the end of the day, the wine is the most important factor, and this winery missed the mark for us on that front. If you're in the area and want to spend some time outdoors in a charming environment, it could still be worth a visit. But I wouldn't go out of your way, especially if you're a serious wine enthusiast.
