My SO and I definitely enjoyed our stay the most at this first hotel compared to the other locations. It was also the most modern hotel that felt the most luxurious. They had a classy black design and dark hallway with the room numbers illuminated. The hotel is on the main canal in Murano with nice bar and outside terrace overlooking the water and right next to the water taxi / bus stop which takes you to Venice and the other islands. The water taxi dropped us off right in front of the hotel from the Venice airport. We arrived early and our room wasn't ready so we stopped by for a refreshing drink at the cafe next door. I love how each part of the hotel and cafe were decorated beautifully with the colorful Venetian glass. After comparing to the other hotels the AC was very well controlled and we never felt too cold or too hot. The bed here was also the most comfortable compared to all of the other locations. They included a small table with a nice lounge chair, 2 areas for luggage and a long glass table and stool to sit. We had 1 large window on the first floor that did not really have a view of anything. There's a roomy upright rainfall shower room plus a large flat screen TV (we didn't use). This was also the only hotel to offer 2 complimentary bottles of water one fizzy and one flat. I loved the bountiful warm lighting options in the room and the layout of the place. Breakfast was included in the large dining room and they had a buffet style. I think otherwise it may cost extra if you booked yourself. The hotel offers a modest spread of bread, cheeses, pastries and hot eggs and cold cuts. Nothing amazing. We had appetizers and a 3 course meal for the Welcome Dinner and our favorite was the Raspberry Panna Cotta. Personally I think my SO could have done a better job with the lemon chicken. We were very happy with the set up of the rooms. Updated - nice furnishing and fixtures Cons Service - no one will go above and beyond here. If there is a problem they may do something about it but are annoyed that you brought it to them and find a way that it is your fault. Maid service - takes forever. If you are out all day every day then it's fine but never expect that you will leave your room for 5 hours with the ready to clean sign on the door to return to a clean room. This is a problem for families or people who want a mid day rest. Air conditioning - quiet cool in the lobby and common areas but warm in the room and there is no way to control it. We asked to make it cooler to no avail

The staff is extremely accommodating and always welcoming us as we come and go. They help with all of our bags and everything we needed during our stay. The room was large especially for Italy and European hotels. It had a huge closet and large bathroom. The bed was wonderful and comfortable with fluffy down pillows and comforter. There was a welcome treat left for us with some special cookies. The mini bar is well stocked and reasonably priced. The bathroom has a walk in shower, big vanity and mirror and toilet plus bidet. The best feature was the towel heater! Not only does this dry your towels quickly but the warm towel as you step out of the shower is divine! All toiletries are provided including little extras like toothbrushes and shower caps. There was a hair dryer as well. The bathroom was well appointed. There is no detail left out at this hotel. The customer care is exceptionally good. They ensure every detail and comfort is provided. They are always willing to call water taxis and provide recommendations for dining. The lounge and bar are also lovely and they take exceptional care of guests. This will be our go to hotel chain especially this hotel in Venice for the lavish experience. Everything here was wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

Staff was friendly, accommodating, and professional. At the same time I was not blown away. My biggest issue and reason for my 3 stars is mostly based on the fact that I could/would not stay more than one night. We had a view of a wall and it was a struggle to even get to the window to look out. I didn't want to spend time in the room due to the fact that with no light coming in the room was dark. Not what I pictured my night in Venice to be. Others in our group had a similar lack luster view. Make sure you request a room with some kind of view. Breakfast was from 7 to 10am...we missed our "free" breakfast as we had to leave by 7am for the airport. They hotel provided a "breakfast to go" bag which was quite nice. I was impressed with that. The room has an Italian decour with gold and red colors. Shampoo and hand soap in pump bottles not individual containers. Coffee machine was excellent. Bidet in each room. Bed was comfy enough but I have had much better. Short walk to great cafes, restaurants and stores. 25 min walk to the heart of Venice. Depending how you go to airport (water taxi, car, bus and water taxi) I would say approximately 35 min. Hotel lobby is very nice, smaller than expected, and water and apples upon checking in. If I returned to Venice I personally would stay elsewhere.

The room was spacious and sumptuous with the decor. The bed and the pillows were extremely comfortable. The view of the canal was so relaxing and you can even sit on the window ( though don't fall-- fair warning). We were on a sunlit part of the canal so there wasn't a strong smell, unlike other parts. The room was well-cleaned and the bathroom was well thought out with an extra shelf for toiletries. The bar was amazing (shoutout to the lovely bartender, Marco!). The room was also connected to a large rest area with other beautiful couches. As for the hotel itself, it was further away in the Cannaregio area. Most people prefer to stay in the San Marco area, but while Cannaregio was a 25 minute walk away, it was nice to do after a meal to digest. Also, there aren't a ton of streetlights in Venice, but I still felt much safer than being in the US. No one gave creepy vibes which was a shock, especially during Carnevale. Still be vigilant, but it was cool to be in a safe city (no cars, bikes, scooters allowed).

The staff was kind and welcoming, which I genuinely appreciated. I had booked a double classic room without a view, and I was perfectly fine with that. What I wasn't okay with was the terrible smell in the room. I didn't notice it initially when I dropped off my bags in the front area of the room and went out to explore Venice. However, when I returned late that night and laid down, I realized the bed and sheets had a foul odor. I hoped it would be resolved after housekeeping came the next day, but unfortunately, the smell persisted. Room 611 should not be in use--it reeks of what can only be described as moldy dead rats, and the odor is particularly strong around the bed. I don't blame the cleaning staff; I believe this is an issue management is aware of. The condition of the room, especially the bed, is unacceptable, and it's troubling that guests continue to be placed there.

It's a small bed a breakfast with plenty of character, located in a quieter area of Venice just north of San Marco. It was perfect for a romantic getaway because it was walking distance from the more touristy areas (10-15 minutes) but peaceful at night if you want to escape the noise. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed, including a safe inside the wardrobe and a coffee maker for the morning. My favorite feature was the balcony and window though, because opening the shutters and sticking my head outside made me feel like I was in a Disney movie. I just need some talking birds to come land on my windowsill now!

We stayed in 4 hotels during our trip to Italy/Paris, and this was my favorite. We were there on the worst evening in 50 years (highest tide) and the hotel downstairs was flooded. We had to leave earlier than planned, and the managers there were very caring for us, gave us recommendation when we should plan to leave (avoid dragging suitcases in the deep water). I hope that they have been able to recover from the flood/damage. :( Due to the location (close to the water, lower ground) it would be helpful for them to keep enough rain long boots/covers for the guests in the future.
