Running around the swing set and playground was awesome as a kid! When I was older in high school/community college it was a fun place to meet up with friends. Walking to Wawa, eating in the pavillion, hanging out in the pavilion, it was good times. It might not be the biggest of parks, but it has enough for everyone to jog, walk dogs, bicycle, play sports, eat, sit around, an amphitheater for live events...it's a fun little park and one definitely worth checking out if you are in Souderton Borough.

This park is right off Bristol Road on an old air base and you couldn't possibly miss it. It's a spot that will please people of all sorts, as there is quite a bit to do. There is a pretty long track that runs along the perimeter of the place, with exercise spots along the way. I believe it says it's about 2.5 miles, which is great if you're trying to keep some accountability. You'll even get to see the abandoned neighborhood through some of the fencing as you walk, which is kind of cool to see. This place also has a dog park within it, as well as a huge playground. It's a great spot to bring the kids, but make them go to the bathroom beforehand. The restrooms are locked for the winter and the porta potties aren't in great shape. If you find yourself wondering across the street, there is another park (Munro) that offers another playground and a place for the skateboarders to let loose. If you know what geocaching is, you will also be able to partake in some of that. Most people I encounter absolutely love this park. Great for runners, bladers, and bikers. For me personally, I enjoy places that are a little more quiet and have nature trails. This place works though.

There's some open areas, nice views and a bridge to the PA side. I'm at 4 stars is for the bathroom and water fountains. Those are crucial considering how long the Delaware Raritan Canal Trail is, unless you bring your own water or don't mind finding a tree and some leaves in the woods to use as a toilet.

Along with a surprising amount of parking, there is also a nice visitor's station with restrooms that are much less disgusting than the port-a-potties elsewhere along the trail. One main loop trail that is an easy hike through the woods and along the creek. My brother and I would spend hours there when we were young exploring the woods and wandering up the old railroad bridge. I come back often to remember those days, while I don't traverse up to the bridge a quiet walk along the creek is more my speed nowadays. A perfect place for contemplation and nature, a local gem. This is a great place to run, walk, bike, or bird. You can choose to walk in the field (wear hiking shoes) or stay on the paved path that circles the reservoir. There's a wooded area and an open area. If you live nearby I'd definitely recommend getting outside one day and exploring what this reservoir has to offer.
