After meeting with several contractors about the bathroom renovation we were looking to do, we decided on Munoz Construction. To be honest, it was an easy decision after speaking with Jose Munoz, Owner. Jose was gracious with his time, answered all our questions and presented us with options. Once we signed, the work commenced within a few weeks and the same professionalism we saw in Jose carried through to his team. Pedro and Armando showed up on time each morning and took great care in the work they did as well as an amazing job cleaning up each and every day. Jose stopped by once or twice a day to review the work, ask us for our decisions on various areas of the project and make sure we were totally satisfied with the work being done. He is also highly responsive to calls, texts and email communication. After three weeks we had a beautiful new bathroom save the shower door that will be installed shortly. Munoz Construction did a great job on a large project for us in early 2022. They finished our PWC basement in approximately one month at a reasonable cost which included numerous tasks such as a new bathroom and larger window to drywall and insulation. The project also involved adding heat/AC registers, electrical outlets, recessed lighting and flooring. I was very impressed. Jose, the proprietor came by daily to inspect the work with a great attention to detail to my desired specifications and even made small gestures to enhance things I had overlooked. His hardworking team was punctual, respectful and consistent. They worked very hard throughout the day and although I was teleworking upstairs, there was little to no interruption. In addition, the worksite was cleaned up each day which I appreciated. Johnny who served as a liaison was onsite the majority of the time and maintained good communication with me throughout the process. In addition, Jose was very good with providing updates and responding to any queries or requests that I had. The bathroom team did a wonderful job with the details including their tiling work and deserves praise. I hope to use them again to update our existing bathrooms and potentially in the kitchen. I am glad that I listened to all the great reviews on this site. I am very impressed with the final product. It was exactly what I had envisioned. Jose and his crew are amazing. They recently did a few major jobs for our home. They completed two bathroom remodels, replaced all our floors and stairs with new LVP, and painted almost our entire house. Jose is easy to work with and always accessible. These guys are the real deal. I have tall ceilings and I needed interior painting done and a couple of chandeliers replaced. I'm so grateful that I found Munoz Construction on Yelp. The owner Jose responded very quickly to my phone inquiry and gave me a very reasonable quote for my project within a few days. He drafted my contract which included a line by line item of what we agreed upon. His team of three--Fermin, Alex, and Johnny--showed up on time everyday and finished the project in 3 days as per our contract. They were professional, punctual, and polite. They were respectful and wore masks around us. Jose came by regularly to check on their progress and to answer my questions. Any home project is stressful and I was bracing myself for issues but they made the entire process go smoothly. Albeit my project is not complex or big by any stretch of the imagination, Jose made me feel like I was their only customer. Jose and his team completely changed my space. We did a partial remodel of our home. We had hardwood floors installed, crown molding done in the living/dining room, backsplash in the kitchen, painted the walls in many of the rooms, drywall repair in the bedrooms and bathrooms, french doors installed between the family and living rooms, and a glass shower door installed in one of the bathrooms. Jose and his crew did a great job. They were punctual and Jose was always in communication with us. He was not satisfied until we were 100% satisfied. The previous homeowner painted every surface in our house a dark color, and when he covered it up to sell the home, he did a bad job. Color showed through the white paint on our interior doors and the doors stuck because he used the wrong paint. Enter José and his team. They sanded and repainted all of our doors and even repainted the trim, even though we didn't ask for that or pay for it. They changed out an entire house of mismatched door knobs and hinges, took off chandelier medallions and fixed the holes they left in the drywall, hung two new chandeliers, fixed loose joint tape on the ceiling in three rooms, patched ceiling drywall where we had a gas line installed, and painted the ceilings where they did work. They were polite, clean, trustworthy, and professional. We absolutely will use José and his team again to remodel our kitchen and bathrooms when the time comes. read more
