That is why I agreed to the $49 option in the first place. I did not request an upgrade. I did not authorize a price change. When I declined, I was asked to either wait longer while they reinstalled the original screen or return the next day. I had already waited 90 minutes and had neither the time nor the money for options I never agreed to. The final amount charged was $22. If this was genuinely an accident, the resolution would have been immediate and the original $49 honored without negotiation. Confirm your price in writing before leaving your device here.

A technician finally came out same-day and discovered I had a bad line. The internet service worked for seven days, until September 10. I have called five times and spoken with Kevin, Heather, Claudio, and now Ben, who are all giving me the runaround, though all I am asking for is six months of credit -- not to cancel my service. Spectrum is delusional to think they can charge customers for service that does not work as advertised. By "working," I simply mean having an internet connection -- that is the fundamental function I was expecting. Nothing fancy, just an internet connection, for which they charge over $75.00 per month.
